I did the American Greetings card deal today.  I only paid $0.24 for 3 cards, which included $0.02 tax.  The computer the prompted the 25% off (I send it to my card since I don’t want to waste ink) and the cashier entered it.  She didn’t even asked if I wanted to use it.  Oh well.  I got my $3ECB.  Now I have $14 in ECBs to use on Sunday.

  2. Anonymous says:

Yep! As long as they aren’t on clearance, the ECB will print :)

Can I buy 3 $0.99 hallmark cards and get the $3 EB?

This morning I purchased the Physicians Formula concealer stick which was priced at $5.99 and had $7 ecb tag…the $7 ecb did not print but I mentioned it to the cashier and she manually printed the ecb.  I wasn’t going to purchase this product because I had no coupon but I figured it was a moneymaker without coupon so why not?!?

    • i bought the light up lip gloss, last time we had that deal and i bought the lipgloss with the light up cap my mom said next time u have that deal i want one of those so when i went to get the physision formula deal i picked up the lipgloss and said to my self ill pay three dollers for my mom not to worry, but when i picked up the lip gloss…… walah….. it had the $3.00 coupon on the back it was like a miracle so the lipgloss was free plus my mom was so happy.

I love CVS and I love stacking. Okay. A couple of notes. Among other things, I purchased:
3 Hallmark cards for $.99 each
1 Phys. Form concealer for $5.99
4 head & shoulders shampoo/conditioner on clearance for $1.50 each
6 Dove BW on clearance for $.63 each (separate transactions due to cpn limit)

Used 6 $1/1 Dove mfr cpns (one was reduced down to $.26 bc it was only item in trans.)
    2 B1G1 head/shoulder mfr cpns
1 $3/1 CVS cpn ((printed from Magic Cpn Machine)
    1 $2/3 Hallmark (Facebook) cpn
1 B2G1 CVS cpn (printed from Magic Cpn Machine last week)
Didn’t get ECB for the Dove because clearance is excluded but there is no exclusion for the Head & Shoulders regarding clearance. Unexpected moneymaker   HTH

Did the ECB print out for you for the Physicians Formula?  Someone replied to me and said that they did get the $7ECB with the conealer.  I bought the conealer as well, but it didn’t print the ECB.  The cashier honored it and printed one for me.

    • Anonymous says:

Great deal, thanks for posting about these clearance items!

  6. Anonymous says:

Yes, but when you click on the link for the coupon, it says “deactivated link”

  7. Anonymous says:

for some weird reason the ecb didnt print for the physicians formula concealer ($5.99). the cashier checked the ad and said it should have so he gave me it anyway. did it work for anyone else…….. also i didnt get the physicians formula q but a $2 mm isnt bad though

    • Anonymous says:

The ECB most likely didn’t print because the product was under $7.00. I’m glad they forced the ECB for you though!

    • Anonymous says:

Same here, the cashier had to force print one.  They have to honor it because it says ANY and doesn’t state a specific amount to purchase.  What’s funny is that the get $7ECB tag was right next to the concealer as well.

  8. If you buy a Phy Formula item under 7.00 the EB’s will not print , however you can show them the flyer and they will manually print them for you , I just did it , I have 3 cards , I got 1 item for 7.79 it printed , i got a conceller stick for 6. something and it did not but they printed the EB’s for me

  9. Edith Chaves says:

about the american greeting cards, the coupon says ” coupon cannot be combined with any other offer” does that have anything to do with combining the coupon with the EB deal??? -just wondering

& is the hallmark cards EB deal advertised? bc i dont see it in the ad, all i see is the american greeting cards

  10. Laura Strope says:

Last week I got 3 dollars off any physicians formula cosmetics purchase from the red coupon machine expires 4/24..so if i decide to get the lipstick (gonna see what the prices are like for the other cosmetics) this would be a 2 dollar money maker for me. (thats if i have the coupon from Smartsource. Thanks for all you do :)

I am hoping to get a Physicians Formula coupon when I go tomorrow.  I’m never that lucky with that machine =(.

  11. Anonymous says:

I love the Phy Formula deal but I”m so tired of contact solution, how much of this stuff can they give away anyway?  I am a brand snob and I want to choose my own extra/bonus items so I hope these new sales tactics are temporary. I’m afraid my EBs are going to expire before they have a sale on anything I want. Not working for me this month, CVS you need to be a little more competitive!!

Zip 90210 works, try sorting it by “Flowers & Gifts”

  13. Anonymous says:

Since this is a regional coupon, type in your zip and see if you get the american greetings coupon or the one for hallmark.  Which ever one you get is the kind that they sell in your area.

  14. Anonymous says:

    Try zip code 90210 HTH

  15. jason timbreza says:

there is a $2/3 hallmark card coupon on facebook.  can this be stacked to make it free + $3 ECB?

  16. If the Physician’s formula says on any product you’ll get $7 ECB, can I use my CVS kiosk coupon for $15 off skincare and still get the ECBs?

    • Mindi Morin says:

yes you can use it, matter of fact my cvs said that it even included foundation products for that coupon. i made the mistake of using mine last week though. i got a lip gloss and a foundation and used my $15 off cvs coupon and both of the products had a $3 off manf peelie so i got $21 worth of physicians formula for free this past week! good luck!

  17. Anonymous says:

how good is physicians formula brand? i have very sensitive skin……deciding if i should keep it….or gift it! if the cvs by my house even has it! im in a war with the store manager of the one by my work. i am a retail store manager and i do not approve of the way shes “trained” her people to handle coupons. the cashiers are literally scared to take your coupons. they even told me that they get in trouble for following store policy! i filed a complaint with corporate and ill complain every day if need be!

  18. Edith Chaves says:

yess!! the card deals again!!! :D i ran out of bday cards

  19. Even with my busy schedule, your sneak peeks allow me to go to all three! THANK YOU!!!

In the Reinventing Beauty Magazine there is a coupon for buy 3 Hallmark Cards, get one Free

  21. Anonymous says:

These are all on my list except for the cards.  I will though get more Head & Shoulders, gotta love rolling the rewards.

    • Anonymous says:

whats the deal with head and shoulder? hubby uses alot of that

      • Anonymous says:

It’s 3/$14 and get a $4 ECB for buying 3, Limit 1.  I would buy 4 since we have that BOGO coupon from the P&G insert.  All you do is pay for 2, if you buy 3, you still pay for 2.  Might as well get 4.  I’m rolling my rewards so it’ll be free.

  22. Jackie says:

Where do you find “American Greeting” (AG) cards at CVS?  All the cards I’ve seen are all “Hallmark.”  Do they sell AG cards regionally?  I’m in Philadelphia area.

  23. Anonymous says:

I thought of something regarding the Physicians Formula…the ad states “$7 extra care bucks when you purchase ANY Physicians Formula Product (excluding clearance)”. So technically, you could purchase something for under $7 and turn this into a moneymaker…right???

    • Anonymous says:

You clearly have keen powers of observation lizcole85 and your reasoning is correct.  However, remember that this is your face we are talking about and your face deserves the very best! ;)

    • Anonymous says:

      Yep!

      • Anonymous says:

        I basically said the same thing!…lol ;)

        • Mindi Morin says:

this past week i had a $15 off coupon for physicians formula print out at cvs! its a shame that i already used it or that would of been a big money maker for me!

          • Anonymous says:

The important thing is that you look beautiful and for $15 worth of product, you must look spectacular!! ;)

    • Anonymous says:

The cheapest Physicians Formula I found not on clearance was $5.99, which is perfect because its an item I do need.

      • Anonymous says:

I believe the ad says excluding clerance items (but I could be wrong)- So this would not produce the 7eb Nevermind! Realized that you said not on clearance!

        • Anonymous says:

Yes it will produce a $7 ECB because that item is not on clearance, its regular price for the concealer. I do use conealer, so I’m getting that.

      • Edith Chaves says:

i wonder if it will still print out the $7 EB tho??

        • Anonymous says:

I guess we shall see tomorrow at 7am.  It says ANY Physicians Formula cosmetic item (excludes clearance).  I looked at prices a few days ago.  The concealer is $5.99, regular price.  I love concealer.  But if I’m lucky enough to get a Physcians Formula coupon from the red box, maybe I’ll get something different.

I don’t use a lot of makeup.  I’ve only used foundation and eyeliner.  Sometimes I do use lipstick.  But since I’ve been couponing, I’ve been getting makeup free or cheap.  I’m loving mascara and eye shadow more now!

          • Anonymous says:

Yes. I do my shopping on Saturday nights and mine worked for that item!

            • Anonymous says:

Awesome it worked for you!  My ECB didn’t print, the cashier had to force print one.  She took a look at the ad and said they have to honor it because it doesn’t state you have to purchase a certain amount to get the ECB, it states “ANY” not on clearance.  I did good today, only $0.64 OOP for $45.42.
