If I use the $5 Up reward from my 1st purchase of Samy Fat hair product to buy my 2nd Samy Fat hair product, will the 2nd $5 Up reward still print?

I went to Rite Aid today to buy Dentyne using $1/2 coupons, but I can’t.    Rite aid said that I can’t use coupons for products that already on sale.  I don’t know if there is any changes in coupon policy in Rite Aid.  If there is anybody already bought Dentyne gums using with $1/2 coupons, please let me know how to use them. Thanks

I went to rite aid to buy Dentyne gums with using $1/2 coupons.  It didn’t work. They said I can’t use that coupons with double Dentyne gums.  Coupon said “any dentyne” gums ??
I don’t get it.  Is there anybody who bought Dentyne gums with using $1/2 coupons?
Please let me know how to do it.  I really don’t understand….

If I already used the mq and store coupon for the fat hair and used my wellness + card two days ago, and i have another pair of coupons can I use them? Or is it one deal per wellness card?

  7. Amanda Grimes says:

Can I use a video value coupon more than once? I thought it was 3 times however the second time I went to buy the sammy fat hairspray they said I already used it. I thought we were allowed to use them 3 times or is that just how many time we can get the up rewards?

    • Anonymous says:

The video values coupon can only be used once. The limit 3 refers to the amount of up rewards you can receive on that deal.

Kind of a general question for you more experienced couponers….I am new to couponing, and just recieved my 250pts level and a 10% coupon printed. I was wondering what/when might be the best way/time to use it since, it says it won’t give an additional 10% to sale prices.  Also, I was noticing I have a $2 off gold bond ribbons MQ and I also have a $2 VV adperk. I am going to check the price at my rite aid tomarrow, but I was wondering what is a good price for that product? I have never used it before. Thanks for all your help and advice.

  9. Has anyone had issues with the Samy Fat Hair Manufacture coupon?  I went to 2 local Rite Aids and the coupon continued to scan and say “Previously used”.  They told me it must have been used already.  When I got home and went to the link the bar code never changed even when I looked it up online and was sent to a different page to print it was still the same bar code.  I have been couponing for over a year and NEVER had an issue as this.  Any ideas??

    • Anonymous says:

The coupon beeped at my store and the manager pushed it through. I’m so used to my coupons beeping at Rite Aid lately and I’m not sure if it had the same “previously used message” when it beeped. These are PDF coupons so they all have the same barcodes unlike the coupons you would print through one of the main coupon sites where the barcode is the same but the pin number in the right corner is different. I personally don’t like using these kinds of coupons because I always fear the cashier’s will give me a hard time.

    • Anonymous says:

I wasn’t able to use it either in Southern Cali, the cahier scanned it, she tried entering the upc code manually but the register would not take it.  I think maybe because it’s from a PDF??

I went to RA to get the Samy Haircolor. I could only use the ad perk and not the MQ, but it still made it 6 dollars plus I got back the 5 dollar reward so its still a great deal, like paying a dollar.  The MQ says ANY hair product but I guess hair color is not a product?  I dunno I’m still happy.  They also had Neutrogena makeup foundation blush and powder 75% and I think theres coupons to match with it. I ran out of time to look, they close at 6pm in NC.

My Rite Aid in MI had the Samy shampoo is a special”bonus” pack, 2 bottles for $8.99, so two bottles for free! Thanks KCL so grateful for all the time you put into matchups so we don’t have to!

    • Anonymous says:

I found the bonus pack at my Rite Aid too. Made for an even sweeter deal!

    • Anonymous says:

Thanks for the tip on looking for the “bonus” pack. At my rite aid in Oregon they are on the very bottom shelf and were back behind the singles, so if I wouldn’t have looked I wouldn’t have found them. I even got the “bonus” pack on the thickening cream and shampoo and conditioner.  Yes we have three adults/accounts in our house, but I have super thick hair and unfortunately my daughter got her dads super thin hair. So I was especially excited to get these products for her to try.

Done! All as planned except I shopped at a RA I’ve only been to once. It was on the way to Ikea so I thought I’d just shop there to get the trip out of the way. A guy was my cashier and he was starting with my items when a lady cashier approached him and looked at my items very attentively. She asked to take over the transaction. She warned me I wouldn’t be able to use my “coupons”, the printed ones (she meant the +Ups) until the next day. Odd, because I never have a problem at my RA. After they printed I told her the coupons said they were good from 4/20 to 5/13. April 20 was yesterday, I don’t see why I can’t use them today. She said “That’s what they told me, not to accept them. It’s a new thing that started in january.” She was a bit annoying, she didn’t quite have a happy look on her face with my transaction. Bah! Too bad I didn’t get a print out for a survey.

I got 3 Dentyne gums, the last 3, they were wiped out! 1 Veet combo pack, $5.39 after Silver, final price $.39. 2 Alka Seltzer Plus Allergy. The 24 count boxes are $4.99, minus silver and MQ and VV an +Up printed, they were free. Yeah! The Samy Fat Foam hair color and 1 Relvon Mousse foundation $13.99 and a lip butter, $3.49. For the mousse, I used $2/1 MQ and $3/1 VV; for the lip butter, $1/1 MQ and $2 VV. Got $5 +Up back, final price $4.48.

I did all in one transaction since she wasn’t gonna let me roll them. I should have just bought the Revlon at my usual RA the next day but I didn’t think of it until she had scanned my VV. I was afraid they’d beep if used the next day again. Oh well. Overall, good trip. :) I also ended up buying a lot of things I didn’t know I “needed” at Ikea. :p

Call your rite aid mine doesn’t carry the $4.99 veet product only the 40 count :(

    • Anonymous says:

If the product is in the ad shouldn’t they at least carry it for the promotional period?

  14. DEE says:

sammy fat hair product coupons say that it cannot be combined with any other offers, this is found on both riteaid coupon and fat hair coupon from the website. does this mean i can only use one of them and cant combine the two? it would come out for free though right?;(

    • They mean that you can’t combine them with another of the same coupon.  Rite Aid allows you to combine a Manuf Q with a Rite Aid coupon on the same item, but not two Manuf Q or two Rite Aid coupons on the same item.

  15. Anonymous says:

I have a question if I buy 4 Veet Products will the $2.00 in ad coupon come off 4 times or will it only be taken off of 1 ? ( it says limit 1 per customer on the coupon)

    • Sravani K says:

The Veet manf. coupon has a limit of 2 coupons per transaction and one $2 off RA coupon will only take off $2 not $8.

    • Anonymous says:

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but you will probably want to do these in seperate transactions to get the best benefit.

  16. Mabel Lara says:

How many fat hair coupons can I print and use, anybody?

  17. if you are lucky enough to have .75/1 dentyne cpns then it’s gonna be a MM  and if you have the 20% discount you get the veet as a MM too

I’m sorry to ask a question that I know has been asked before, but does Rite Aid post a list of the monthly Up reward? (The ones that aren’t listed in the flyer.) I know lots of blogs have a list, but is there anything “official” from them? I’m not having luck searching Google or their website.
    Thanks!

    • Monica Hall says:

It has been asked and I’m not sure but I’ve had luck just googling it. Some blogs have them but I’ve never been able to find it on Rite Aid’s website. Try doing a search for it.

    • Anonymous says:

Somehow some other blogs get the list and post it but Rite Aid doesn’t have an actual list on their website or in the weekly flyers. The way to know for sure if there’s a monthly deal on something is to look at the yellow tags on the items next to the pricetags. It will list the monthly deal and the dates it runs.

Another slow week at Rite Aid. Is is just me or has there been quite a draught lately on RA deals? I dropped in the other day and the staff said they wondered where I went LOL…is this time of year always slow? I didn’t really start until summer of last year.

    • Monica Hall says:

I have a lot of stuff on my list that will be free: Dentyne, free (for me, because I only have 1 coupon, no MM here. :( ); Veet, free; Alka Seltzer allergy, free; the Samy Fat foam, MM; Revlon foundation and lipstick, $4 for both. Not free, but I’m running out of foudation. ;) I’m sure other good deals will pop up as the weekend advances.

      • Anonymous says:

Im running out of foundation too, whats the deal on taht? thanks!!

      • Camila Coupons says:

I’d love to know also! I love everything revlon

      • Anonymous says:

What is the deal/match up for the alka seltzer allergy?

        • Anonymous says:

Alka Seltzer buy 2 get $4 up reward. Around $6 each so buy 2 for $12 – (2) $2 off coupons – $1 video values coupon - $4 up reward = $3 for 2 Alka Seltzer’s. If you have the gold discount it comes out to about $0.30 each wyb 2.

    • Anonymous says:

lol ikr. I actually got HUGGED walking into my RA on Easter (i was picking up an ad) I guess they missed me.

  20. Anonymous says:

So glad to see this post is back, KCL! I’ve missed my Friday morning Rite Aid previews.

  21. Anonymous says:

Thanks BarstowMom……you pros sure help new couponers like myself.
I have learned alot from this  KCL site & “pros” like you.A BIG THANXS!!

  22. I’m interested in how the Up Rewards work..

    • Anonymous says:

When you buy something that has an Up Reward, it prints on your receipt, and you just use it, like you would cash, on your next purchase…However, you can not get money back on it.  So if you had a $1.00 Up Reward and you were buying something for .99 cents, you would not be able to use your Up Reward, you CAN have a zero balance at the end, so if you were buying something for $1.00 with your $1.00 Up Reward, that would be fine.  Hope that helps.  :)

      • Just one more thing – you have to have signed up for Rite Aid’s Wellness card. If you don’t have one of those, you don’t get the prices that are advertised or the +UP rewards. It doesn’t cost anything to get the card.

        • Do you sign up in  store?  If I sign up and then shop that same day, will the Up Rewards already be on my receipt, or do I have to “accumulate” them?  Thanks for all the help!  Haven’t done this before but I am really wanting some of these things.

          • I believe that you can also sign up online and print out a temporary card. UP Rewards will be printed the same day it is bought on the receipt. But for me, the up reward gets loaded onto my card and is available the next day.

  23. Monica Hall says:

I’m buying Dentyne, Alka Selzter Allergy, Samy Hair color, Veet and a Revlon foundation and lipstick. Wish me luck! :)

      Welcome Back.

      • Monica Hall says:

Thanks, I ended up not having a chance to shop last week, bummer. I had spent all previous (spring break) week at my mom’s and barely had a chance to catch up with back to school, laundry, etc. I’ll update how my trip went. :)

  24. Anonymous says:

    I plan on buying 6 packs of Dentyne $6 – (3) $1/2 coupons = $3 and receive (2) $2 up rewards which ends up a $1 moneymaker.

    • It says limit 4 so I think I will follow your lead and buy 12 packs. I LOVE getting paid to use products. :)

    • Anonymous says:

I just got back from Rite Aid and got some freebies. I posted a picture in the Brag Lounge. The 4/22 Rite Aid sale started today in Southern California.

      • Anonymous says:

BarstowMom, what does it mean that you got discounted price through my local electric company for the GE lightbulbs??

        • Anonymous says:

At my local store there’s a display with the lightbulbs that say $1.99 price made possible through Southern California Edison through 12/2012. I’m guessing the local electric company here in Southern California is trying to push these more energy efficient lightbulbs thus discounting them.

    • Anonymous says:

      I agree then it’s a $1 moneymaker.
