Serving any beverage out of a beverage dispenser adds a touch of flair to a gathering. For $69 plus $14 shipping, Pottery Barn offers the Mason Jar Drink Dispenser. has a similar product, the Home Vintage Glass Beverage Dispenser for a fraction of the price retailing for $24.99. Both products feature a clear glass container with a stainless steel lid and spout. Each has a vintage-inspired stamp in the glass. The Pottery Barn version has a slightly higher capacity than the Target one, but for a 69% savings I don’t mind refilling a little more often!

I love kitchen items that double as serveware and decor like this Williams-Sonoma Oval Stoneware Bread Basket for $49. The Home Large Red Porcelain Bread Basket is offered on for $16.99. Shipping is free on orders over $50, making the savings between the two 65%. Both items are 10-1/2″ wide and come in a selection of colors.

White ramekins are great for artfully displaying condiments and sauces around the dinner table or buffet. Sur La Table has a set of four Emile Henry White Remekins for $31.95. Shipping is $7.50, and they come in white, yellow, green, red, and blue. Porcelain Ramekins at Pier One are sold individually in white only for $1.50 each bringing the total for four ramekins to $6 with free shipping to a local store. There is a great restaurant supply store in my area (Boise ID), a wholesale place but it is open to the public.  They have ramekins in different sizes and styles for less than a buck.

Ceramic is oven-safe, so I don’t see what difference the brand would make.

Joannie, I absolutely love your “knockoff knockouts” posts.  If I had to pick a favorite feature of your blog, this would be it.

Oh, and mine have been just fine in the freezer, dishwasher, oven and microwave.  They’re CorningWare.

I bought a set of 6 ramekins that look exactly like those Pier 1 ones for $8 at Fred Meyer.  Everything I’ve made in them has turned out exactly as it should, so I fail to see why people would buy the expensive ones.

La Sur Table items are freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven and, broiler safe. Pier One are only dishwasher and microwave safe.
