One of my favorite things about couponing is trying new products.  This week I tried a new product I really liked–the Quaker Real Medleys Oatmeal is delish!  I had the cherry/pistachio variety this morning.  Yummm!  I am definitely going back for more!   A few months ago, Walgreens offered free Belvita Breakfast Biscuits.  I picked up a couple and finally opened them this week.  Loved them and I am so mad that I didn’t pick up more when they were free.  Lesson learned:  Don’t wait to try a new product until the sale is over!!  I just love how many treats I got this week.  I plan to stash most of them away for summer.

What about you?  How did your couponing adventures go?

Strange…I once had an item in the Walgreens ad that I couldn’t find in the store. It was on a Burt Bee’s product and the manager at the store said it was because the ads are NATIONAL, so not all stores carry the items advertised. Well this week I couldn’t find the depends anywhere in the Walgreens ad and I checked 5 different ones and I was told it was because the ads are REGIONAL, so this region’s ads may be different then the one you have and post deals from. So which is it? Are the ads national or regional? Were the depends in your ad?

  2. I don’t know if I am going crazy, if I’m blind, or if my local paper just sucks, but I cannot for the life of me find any of the coupons for the $10 off one touch, and the skinny cow coupons in my paper are buy 2 get 1 free not B1G1 :(
BTW I have gotten about 10 of each insert from this week

I found my One Touch on the internet and also the matching $4 coupon for the test strips, which were on sale for $4 this week.  Joann

went to rite aid to get the airwick aerosol yesterday which was the last day of the sale in california, and  couln’t used the coupon the cashier told me the coupons bar code was inactive and that i should be able to used it once the sale was over. I guess they figure it out they were giving them out for free. She try to scanned it and pass it thru but system wouldn’t let her. from now on im gone used any coupon that gives me something for free the first day of the sale. Its the second time this happens at ride aid. The first time was with the loreal cleanser that was free after the 5 coupon once they realize a lot of people were getting it for free they took the coupon off the video value web site and changed the wording. I had the coupon with no restrictions and still they would not take it. bummer

I wasn’t able to find the Starbucks refreshers at CVS or Walgreens.  I know they have it at Target.

Also not many people know about this deal.  I guess that’s why there were so much razors left.  Look online at the CVS ad about the Gillette deal.  You DON’T have to buy the razor and the cartridge to get the $5ECB.  I was able to purchase the Gillette Venus Razor 1ct for $6.99, its in a blue packaging nothing fancy about it.  I used the $2/1 Q that’s in this past week’s P&G.  Total was $4.99, I gave them my $4.98ECB from the Colgate deal and paid only $0.01, got back $5ECB.  For some reason in Texas they tax you for the after coupon price.  When I hit $0.00, I don’t pay any tax.

Okay Sorry to be a pain, but I am really missing the “Diapers and Wipes Deals for the week” I tried looking in the blog section but I can’t find it there either, does anyone know where it is located now?

    • Stephanie Maciel says:

You can type “Diapers and Wipes Deals” in the search box at the top n you will find it.. hth :)

Kcl, is the pepsi next any good?  I have been trying my best Not to by pop.  It was a really really hard habit to break years ago and now I am not too sure if I want to load up on any more.  I got some Dr. Pepper for .25 each.  This is my hubbys favorite, so I couldn’t say no.

    • Anonymous says:

I think it is good.  I try to limit myself to two sodas a week because I used to have to have one every day and never drank water!!

  8. So far I have gotten 37 of the starbucks refreshers.  I work nights and they taste great and provide a little pick me up during the wee hours of the night.  I did this in 3 different shopping trips in 3 different stores so I wouldn’t clear the shelves. I am hoping to stock up to last through the summer! Wags didn’t have any, I guess I will check out CVS tomorrow.  My local stop and shop had them.

May VV (adperk) has $2.00 off Revlon eye beauty tools or brow pencils-

  10. I picked up the Starbucks refreshers today at Publix. They are absolutely disgusting. I would return them if they weren’t free, LOL. Carbonated juice and coffee don’t mix well at all.

Thank you for posting the actual money you spent and rewards. I have always wondered what your actual cost was!

  12. Carmella says:

The quaker medleys were really good I bought two, cherry pistachio and apple walnut. I gave the apple walnut to my mom and instantly regretted it, she let me taste it and it was so good haha.

  13. Rhonda Gumm says:

    hi kcl,
just wanna tell you the belvita biscuits are  even better when you dip them in coffee!

  14. Wow!  You inspire me to just get up and go!

Looks like the $1 off coupon for the pretzel crisps is gone…or does anyone know if its under a different zip

  16. Anonymous says:

Sorry, nm. I usually skip over Rite AId deals since I don’t have one. I guess I will just save mine for when there is a deal at WalMArt, Target, CVS or Walgreens…

  17. Anonymous says:

What deal did you do with the skinny cow boxes (not singles)?

    • Betsy Diaz says:

Kmart has a good deal on the boxes they are 2/$6, but if you get 4, they give you a Kmart Gift Card of $5 + they were doubling coupons too (Northern Illinois).

      So it $12 – (4- $1 Coupons doubled) = $8 and Get a Kmart Gift Card $5

      • Anonymous says:

Wow, that is a really good deal. I don’t normally shop at KMart since it is out of my way, but I might have to start. Do they double only on certain days? And do you have to spend a minimum? I am in Northwest suburbs of Illinois. Do you know of any blogs that do matchups with Jewel, Dominicks, Meijer? Thanks for your help!

  20. Anonymous says:

I think there’s a mistake on the Rite Aid toothbrush/toothpaste deal? total is supposed to be .54 not 5.54 right?

  21. Ron Bosley says:

Bummed that my Wags didn’t have the Starbucks refreshers :( I so wanted to try them! I got the Belvita back when they were free and i just ran out….they are so yummy, especially dunked in coffee!!!

  22. Jessica says:

I can’t find the greenworks bleach coupon at target…does anyone know where it is?

  23. Heather Lee says:

Great week!!  I did a lot of the same deals, including dragging my husband out to Target for the Green Works deal!! lol. The Colgate Pro Sensitive Relief from Rite Aid should have also given you $2.50 in +Up rewards.

  24. Anonymous says:

I can’t wait to try the Starbucks Refreshers!  My local store has them on sale for buy 2 get 1 free, but they’ve been out of them since the sale started.  I got a raincheck and I’m hoping they get more in before the free coupon expires!  (They’ll also be on sale for 99 cents next week at Walgreens with a 99 cent RR.  Moneymaker! If you can find them…)

My son has also been loving this week’s deals! Spongebob Pirate’s Booty, Pretzel Crisps, Oreos, Lunchables, and a couple color changing loofahs, just to name a few.  I also found Happy Nappers in clearance at Rite Aid and got him the dragon he’s been asking for.  Pillow Pets were also in clearance, I grabbed Thomas the Train for $7.49 for our honorary nephew.  It’s been a great week!
