So I used the coupons earlier in the week to buy the regular size toothpastes for free, but today when I tried to use the $1/1 coupon to buy a $0.99 trial size, the cashier said “no – item has to be $1″.  Poooeeey!  Oh well – I am plenty stocked up anyway with lots extra to give away and bless someone else who needs them!!

What is Reinventing Beauty at CVS? Does it cost anything?

It’s a magazine found only at CVS, and yes, you have to purchase it. It contains quite a few nice coupons, so it may be worth it to you.

Yes, you can do it 4 times before your reciept says offer limit reached. But I had to do it 4 times.I mean u get $1.99 ECB for one JA holder & ur reciept says 1 left for the reward & it keeps saying that till u buy 4 holders.

Believe it or not, I got FOUR of these coupons. I was able to get four of the Colgate toothpastes for free. I also got four of the $1 deodorant coupons which gave me four trial sized deodorants for free too.

I got two of the $1 coupons from the magic machine (CVS is on my way home so when I got one the first time I held onto it till the next day since they had plenty of stock), plus I had two of the 50-cent MQs from this past weekend’s Smart Source insert.  Got two of the full-size Colgate Max Fresh tubes for zero OOP since I had a $3 ECB, plus got back the $4.98 in new ECB — WAAAY better deal than getting those little travel sizes!  :oD

So far, I have received the $1/1 toothpaste everytime I go into CVS.  I didn’t know the limit was 2 so I bought one first and then the other.  The funny thing is that the first one was about 15 cents cheaper than the other one…same price before tax, same tax percentage.

I got this and used it towards the regular Colgate Max Fresh that was on sale.

the $1 any toothpaste and any deodorant coupon is printing all week.  I bought 3 travel size toothpaste and 3 travel size speed stick today and all the coupons went through, and since my son is with me, he asked for 1 pringles.  I only pay for the price of pringles plus tax.

Another good deal is the Crest Clinical Gum Protection Rinse.  The smallest one (474mL)  was part of the ECB deal.  It was $3.99, get a $3ECB Limit 2.  There is a $0.25/1 Crest Rinse 458mL or larger in the P&G this past weekend.  So pay $3.74, get a $3ECB.

The deal gets better if you have a $1/1 Crest rinse coupon, I have 3 of them.  I remember going to Target and buying Oral B toothbrushes that had Crest Whitening strips attached to them.  Also it indicated it has coupons inside.  I opened the little boxes attached to the toothbrushes about a month ago.  The coupons inside are $1/1 Crest rinse 440mL or larger, $7/1 Crest 3D Whitestrips (excluding Vivid), $0.75/1 Crest toothpaste 40z or larger, $1/1 Oral-B Floss Picks, Satin Floss or Glide product, $1/1 Oral B toothbrush (these I used so I don’t remember if it excluding any type).

I also received a coupon for $1/1 deodorant with no size restrictions and also .75/1 Colgate toothebrush.  The deodorant and toothbrushes in the travel section are priced $2/2.  Yesterday I got a travel size Lady Speedstick, a Colgate toothbrush and Colgate toothpaste (priced .99 for the Maxfresh).  So all 3 for just .24.  I used my Greenbag scan (.25 ea time).  So I actually made .01.  I have gone in 3 times this week and I get these 3 coupons from the coupon machine each time.

**FYI**.  The deal with the Gillette Venus razor, cartridge, or Fusion ProGlide Razor, cartridge…..You don’t have to buy the razor and the cartridge to get the $5ECB.  I saw someone’s YouTube video and they bought just the razor and a $5ECB generated.  I wanted to see for myself, so I went today.  I bought the Gillette Venus 1ct razor.  It’s in a blue package.  It wasn’t marked for the $5ECB, it cost $6.99 and we had that $2/1 coupon from this past week’s P&G.  So $4.99 and I gave them my $4.98ECB from the Colgate deal.  I only paid $0.01.  For some reason in Texas, at CVS and Walgreens, they don’t tax you before coupon price, its after.

Where do you get this coupon at

    • Anonymous says:

You scan your card through the Coupon Machine at CVS. It’s usually located towards the front of the store.

I tried doing this exact deal and the cashier would not let me use it on trial size

  16. I’ve already got my limit of two with the Colgate ECB/ moneymaker, so if I get another coupon tomorrow, I will look for this travel size.  Thanks!

  17. Riza Redd says:

I was able to get that coupon both days I went to CVS.  Also, there was a coupon for the Aquafresh or Sensodyne toothpaste (no size restriction) on the toothpaste aisle, so I was able to get the Aquafresh travel size with an overage. Also, the CVS machine also gave me $1 off deodorant!

I see why Kcl would post this  free toothpaste deal on the travel size and not the sale on the regular size… Some people don’t understand the deal with the ECB…. Anyways  I got this coupon earlier in the week and I’m going back today so hopefully the magic coupon machine will spit out another one and I’ll be able to score a $1 MM on 2 regular size toothpaste tubes.. (  I don’t have the manufacturer coupons.) Thanks KCL for teaching me how to get free toothpaste or even better to get paid for taking it out of the store!!

I got this coupon today, but I’m going to use it on one of the regular sized toothpastes that are already on sale.

The Colgate Max Fresh is $2.99 with a $2.49 ECB (limit 2). In the CVS magazine they had (forgot the name!) they have $1 off coupons for the Colgate Max Fresh toothpaste 4oz or larger. I used 2 $1 coupons for toothpaste from the red machine, plus 2 $1 coupons from the CVS magazine to get 2 toothpastes for $1.98 out-of-pocket and got $4.98 in ECB.

  21. Anonymous says:

I used it with a manufacturer’s coupon on the ECB deal to make a moneymaker–two toothpastes for $3.98 OOP, got back $4.98 ECB
