I was told last week by 2 cashiers that promos like this where you have to reach a certain amount in order to get an Up Reward (ie Spend $20 get $10 up reward) you had to reach that $20 total AFTER coupons…is this true?? I didnt ask the manager, but is there somewhere in the written store policy where I can show them they are wrong?

The 1 rite aid i got to is always out and never well stocked, you’d think i’d have learnt my lesson by now, hoping to do this deal at another rite aid.  I had printed 2 rite aid video values  for the $1 off any 2 oreo’s and $1 off any 2 packs of twizzelers.  tried to use them today and was told it was only on the big bags of twizzlers and oreo’s.  It definately says ANY on the coupons.  I had the 6 pack of oreos (2 of them) and the regular size twizzler candy.  Can anyone tell if i’m wrong or should this work.  Also have a question about UPs at rite aid, if you get a rain check to you still get the UPs when you redeem it.  I was told by the cashier you would get the  sale price but lose out on the UPs??

  3. I was able to print up 3 coupons and since I have 3 kids I was set to buy 6 toothbrushes. However when I got to the toothbrushes they didnt have much so my little girl got 2 and each boy got 1. I asked if there were any more for boys she went and checked, came back and said they did not, my look of disappointment must have spoke volumes, so she went and asked if they could give me the up reward as an instant coupon instead. It was approved!!! I paid 4.80 for 4 toothbrushes…. SCORE!

I had to share and wanted to know if anyone has gotten an extra $10 UP reward. This past Sunday I bought 6 spin brushes (using 3 $1 coupons) and received 1-$10 UP reward. I was only gonna buy 4 spin brushes (since it was BOGO free) but since I am a new silver member, my 10% thru off my total, it was under $20.
I went back to buy the brush heads and also bought 4 boxes of baking soda (BOGO free as well) and paid $10 UP reward from the spin brushes (from Sunday) and $1.67 (plus tax) OOP. I received TWO $10 UP rewards!!! I was not sure what triggered the extra $10 Arm & Hammer UP reward. Was it the baking soda boxes or the brush heads? I also forgot to use my $2 spin brush coupon (I printed from this post last nite) today, but it worked out for me. So that pretty much makes all the spin brushes about a buck each! Has anyone got this?

A couple of questions: how many brush heads did you buy the second day? and how much were the boxes of baking soda? If you bought 6 spin brushes (the 9.49 ones) on the first day that would be 28.47 and get one $10 up. So you had 8.27 towards your next spend 20. So, if you bought brush heads (lets say 6 of them) =28.47+8.27 (from the first day)= 36.74 plus 4 baking soda (I’m guessing 1.99 BOGO?)=40.72… you would have earned two more by simply spending/buying that many. Is that what you bought?

        Sunday, I bought 6 spin brushes at 3($9.49) (BOGO free & used 3($1 man. Q) = $28.47 (before Q’s) received my $10 A&H reward
Yesterday, I bought 1 spin brush ($9.49) & 1 brush head (FREE), & 4 Baking Soda boxes ($1.09) BOGO free
Paid my $10 A&H reward from Sunday and paid OOP $1.67 plus tax and received TWO – $10 A&H rewards.
My total is $40.14 (not including taxes) I should of ONLY gotten 2 UP rewards, not 3 UP rewards, I am thinking. DEAL is buy $20 A&H and receive $10 UP reward.

  5. does RA round up 19.97 to 20? coz my first transaction on this I played safe lol my total is 22 before coupons. I might be try this scenario before the week is over

  6. It only let me print one coupon :(

  7. I got this deal the other day I use
2 coupons for brushes (but get 4 brushes because the 2 is free)
2 coupons for toothpaste (also get 4…2 are free) btwI get the cheapest toothpaste bogo 3.49? ones
used previous UP reward and get 10 UP
    Zero out of pocket

My son that just got a new toothbrush (manual) ask me to have the powered ones and promise me to brush his teeth twice a day if I let him pick the ones he like awww:))

also I get the ocean spray juice 2/5 get 1UP on 2.
Get 4 and use 2 BOGO coupon
    10.00 minus $5 coupons (2.50 each)

I would keep this at the bottom of your list as a “hope I get it” item. If you rite aid is like mine, they never have more than 2 toothbrushes in stock at a time making this deal impossible. I wish they had more than just pink too (I have 2 boys) but they decorate it as manly as possible and they do help my 5 yo brush by himself better than a manual.

    • Kime' Braden says:

Yes, I asked the manager yesterday when they get another truck she told me ours is friday I asked how many of said items do they get to restock a empty shelf and she said 2 so I asked if their is anyway I could get 3 of said item not this listed but of one I wanted although I want at least 2 of those toothbrushes. :) So, I guess it’s their policy but you would think they would get more.

      • Wow that is crazy my rite aid always has several rows of the different tooth brushes kids and adults, yes they get wiped out really fast ( I have a few hoarding couponers as I call them) that always shelf clear.  But I have managed to do this deal in the past and I actually go to do it last night too. Some times I have to go to both my rite aids to get what I need though. Good luck!

Its nice to have 2 Rite Aids that you can go to. Most of the time a cashier will even call the other store to see if they have what you are looking for in stock there.

It definitely helps if they could start a sale with a fully stocked shelf!

Hi, according to RA coupon policy, I thought you couldn’t use a Q on a free item, so how are you able to use the $1/2 on the A&H toothpaste?…If we could use that instead of the .75cents/1 Q, what would stop us from using (4) $2/1 on the brushes? I am trying to figure the best (and correct) way to do this deal before I attempt it, because I don’t shop RA very often but would be nice to add these for my daughter and friends’ kids/for gifts…Thanks in advance for help…

You will not be using the coupon for the free items. The coupon is for $2.00/1 toothbrush so you are getting $4.00 TOTAL off of the 2 toothbrushes you ARE paying for! Does that make sense? Just do the exact scenario as the post states and you should be good to go! I personally used this scenario and did not have a problem! Good luck

      • Doesn’t the coupon say $1/2?

      • Keli Kucera says:

I was NOT questioning the $2/1 Q for the brushes…I was asking about the $1/2 for the PASTE! lol   But I just ended up getting the infant toddler orajel paste instead…had $1/1 printables for that, so didn’t have to fight with a cashier over using any Q’s on the” free” items (The Orajel paste was also BOGO free on sale last week as well)…On a side note, I just picked up the new ad yesterday in store (ours is one of the stores that runs the ad Friday thru Thurday-siiight), so I am gonna’ try to find new  deals since they started yesterday  adn I don’t usually get the ad until the paper Sunday if I wait!  =)  Thanks!

Hi newbie. This was an advertised deal. Check the bottom right hand corner on the last page of your weekly circular. Oragel was included in the buy one get one free offer as well.

  12. Kitty Greentree says:

Please pardon the newbie here but is this an unadvertised thing? My local circular doesn’t have this in it.
