I just got these today and had no issues. Both the coupons I had said any Tums Refreshers. I used 1 MQ for $1.50 and 1 VV coupon for $1.50. Now I have to remember to submit for the rebate!

You can print a $1.00 off the tums website (on any tums) to combine with the $1.50vv- They also have the $1.50mq but it is only for the 50 count.

  3. I just notice that most of the coupon I have says 50 counts:( is this thing going to work?

i think they should change all the prices that end in .99 … i think i’ve heard that they only do that because it makes people think its a better deal than seeing an even number like 5.00… which doesn’t apply to me lol

I was at Rite aid yesterday to pick up the revlon tweezer. However i was informed that if the coupons exceed the value of the item we can no longer purchase that item. for example here 1.50 + 1.50 = 3.00 and the item is 2.99. Im told we can no longer do this transaction, not even if we add a filler item. Has anyone else had this problem? I was wondering if it is for all the Rite aid or maybe this is just in our Area.

That sounds like crazy talk. You should challenge that with the store management and corporate.

    • Tell them it’s in their store policy that they will accept the coupon they may adjust the coupon down it’s at the discretion of the manager but  they have to take it

    • Rose Spice says:

As long as the manufacturer coupon is not over the price of the item, it’s okay to use. If the manufacturer coupon is over, the cashier should adjust it, but many cashier don’t know how. Also, If the rite aid coupon is over, I get a little bit of overage.

I did this deal on Monday without any problems! Sounds like your store may have their own policy, or the employee you spoke to just doesn’t like it when we get things for free.

I have had the same issue when trying to use a RA VV Q that exceeded the price of the item, this was on the loreal youth code cleanser that was 4.99 and there was the $5 VV q some time back. The Q beeped and the cashier said it would no longer take store q’s that exceeded the items price.

yes… it’s happened more in the RI stores for me… MA stores seem to be more understanding. But just a penny difference is ridiculous… and if they tell you they can’t just type in the right amount… well thats bull, because they can lol

    • I have the same problem my local store won’t let me do a moneymaker even if its a penny!

    • If i have the vv coupon I will get 2 packs so they can’t say no to me and I’ll still get the items in good deal.

If you have the gold discount and buy 2 it will still be a moneymaker. buy 2 with gold discount = $4.78- (2) $1.50 off coupons -$1.50 VV= $0.28 and submit for the $1 SCR = $0.72 moneymaker.

    • i was told by one rite aid that they can not change the price of a rite a coupon and i just said whatever and left as i didnt have time and went to a different rite aid and had no problem.
