I have a question regarding expired coupons from cvs coupon machine. Does the store honor it even it’s expired for a week or so? Thanks in advance for your answers.

This varies store by store, but generally they won’t “beep” within a week of expiration. :)

  2. i got most of this stuff at cvs this week and i got 28 in ecb so in all im a happy couponer lol  now i got a good start on next week luv luv luv CVS

MIlitary mommies out there.  The Kraft BBQ sauce is $0.75 regular price at the Commissary.  So only $0.25 each with your coupon.  I wanted to get more, but the husband said to try what we bought first.  I bought 2 yesterday at CVS.  If we like it, we can buy more.  I think BBQ sauce is BBQ sauce.  So far I haven’t seen coupons for his favorite BBQ sauce, so too bad so sad.

I can’t thank you enough for your/your family’s service.  You are appreciated.

I don’t see the Alberto coupon in the paper?????

Coupon is regional. You could always trade with someone or purchase it from a coupon clipping site or ebay :)

If you need BBQ sauce, CVS has the Kraft BBQ sauce for $1.  And we had that $1/2 coupon a few weeks ago.  I bought two for only $1.

Speaking of deodorant…Pizzaz went into Walmart today to use the BOGO coupon on the SpeedStick Deodorant, which sells for $2.18 each.  That means Pizzaz should have paid $2.18 for 2 deodorants ($1.09 each).  The coupon says on it: BOGO free ‘up to $3.99′ and the untrained or indifferent or careless or uneducated or disgruntled cashier deducted the entire $3.99, instead of $2.18, which means that Pizzaz paid only $0.37-cents for 2 deodorants (18 1/2 cents each) !!!
Pizzaz was thinking about going back and ‘doing the right thing’, but realized that Walmart will be reimbursed the $3.99 + .08-cents from the manufacturer anyway and that Walmart would be unfairly making a fortune between Pizzazezz money and the manufacturer’s.  Why should they be rewarded for their incompetence?
The bottom line is that Pizzaz will be smelling good!!! ;-)

    • Rose Deacon says:

they did the same thing at cvs when i used the BOGO on the pantene only paid .34 cents for 2 bottles. :) I didn’t go back in either…. Smelling good with you on that one…

    • WALMART DOES NOT REQUIRE A COLLEGE DEGREE TO WORK THERE!

I was just wondering if you knew the right thing to do and felt that way about the cashier why didn’t you say something to her/him and correct it. since the cashier didn’t  know any better what else way she/he to do but since your so smart you were the one who actually did something wrong ………just saying

      • Anonymous says:

To tell you the truth, my experience in dealing with incompetent cashiers is that trying to correct them is more trouble than it is worth.  They get all flustered and confused when you attempt to educate them and everyone on line looks at you like you are the Devil.  Additionally, isn’t it the store’s responsibility to train their own cashiers to protect their interests?  Just as I am responsible to make sure that the store doesn’t overcharge me, they are likewise responsible to make sure that the customer doesn’t get undercharged, don’t ya think?  If the management doesn’t want to spend the extra resources to properly train their staff, and feel that it’s more profitable in the long run to absorb a few losses, then why should it become my problem?  It has nothing to do with being ‘so smart’, as much as using common sense (which is sorely lacking these days).  As far as being the one who ‘did something wrong’, I’m pretty sure that if Walmart knew what happened, it would be the cashier that would get reprimanded and they would still accept my money!  So, Sara…(sticking my tongue out!) :P

        • Sara Ross says:

the whole point is that you were the one who got a better deal and then you instead of being happy about it like most people who’s speed stick coupon did give them 3.99 and gave them overage you came home and said mean things about the cashier this tells me you are not a very nice person…….just saying

          • Anonymous says:

Pizzaz was merely listing several possibilities why the cashier made the error.  If you reread my original comment, you will see that it was not an attack on her personally, just an explanation of what may have caused her to make a mistake.
As far as being a nice person, I am one of the few people I know that leaves a few squares of toilet paper for the next person in a public restroom! ;)
