CVS Extreme Couponing (week of 5/13): $5.00 or Less

CVS Extreme Couponing (week of 5/13): $5.00 or Less

Welcome to this post where we will lay out some extreme couponing deals that will cost you about $5.00 each week! First, here’s everything you need to know about shopping at CVS:

CVS allows one manufacturer coupon and one store coupon per product. You may use CVS Extra Bucks (EBs) in addition to these coupons. Extra Bucks are their rewards that are printed at the end of your cash register receipt. These coupons can be used on your next purchase. Remember, if there is a limit in the ad for the Extra Bucks items, this limit is per CVS Extra Care Card.

The best deals to be had at CVS are “Extra Bucks” offers.  The best thing about CVS is their rainchecks, which include the “Extra Buck” offers, so you can still get the offer when they have more stock!  Be sure and get your CVS card so you can enjoy these extreme savings!  Be sure and read the CVS coupon policy.  You can also go here and review the CVS How To Video.

Curious about the All Deteregent BOGO sale while also using 2 $1/1.  Still new at this and I need laundry detergent.  Do y’all know how much All Detergent 28-32 loads usually goes for?

  2. Why 2 Gain Dish Liquids and not only one?  Is it only to complete the $5.00 total for the post?

You need a $4.00 total to use the previously earned EBs. That means we need to increase our total. :)

Awhile back, I got a rain check for JIff PB that was supposed to include the EB. The cashier wrote the sale price on the rain check but left off the EB. Is there anything I can do about this? I wanted to do this deal b/c I have to JIF coupons.

If you still have the ad for that week, you might be able to take the ad & the rain check to the store. I had that happen one time, still had the ad, went to the mgr, explained what happened and he fixed it right and I got my ECB.

You can be within $.20 (I believe)…so you need to spend at least $9.80 before coupons to get the reward.  I know you don’t have to spend exactly $10.

This week’s ad shows that Gillette disposables are BOGO 50% off.  I have a coupon for BOGO Free that expires 5/31.  If I use this coupon, would I get two 4 packs for $3.75 total if they are $7.49 each?

I think it depends on the cashier.  Mostly likely they will give you the one that is half off for free, rather than the one that is full price.  So you’ll probably end up paying $7.49 for two packs.  If you do use the coupon this week, let me know what happens! Good luck!

Sometimes, the register automatically takes off the max value of the coupon. I have found different stores’ registers do different things. I used the BOGO speedstick coupon last week, i think, & when it scanned it automatically took off $3.99, instead of the sale price of $3.50. But at a different CVS, when I use BOGO coupons, they have to type in the price to take off.

  6. Where can I find the Discover the Value of a Great Buy Booklet?

    • I read that some people are getting it at Publix, but besides that store I have no clue where else…  I wish I could get it too…  I don’t have a Publix here in Louisiana… :(  If you find out other stores, can you please let us know? :D  Thanks…

If you’re lucky to get the Sunday paper on Saturday, our Redplum here in TX has the $1/1 any wet n wild item.  Today is the last day for the $0.99 Spoiled by Wet n Wild sale.  I got 6 free.  I need it for my sister in law’s baby shower…yay!
