  2. I had a very upsetting experience at rite aid yesterday, to the point
where I called corporate and made a formal complaint.  It was regarding
the oreos.  They were not ringing up correctly, they were not giving them as a bogo but taking $0.15 off each one and the manager kept saying that it was the coupon I was using…..I explained that the coupon has nothing to do with the sale and tried to educate her on this but she kept saying over and over, it’s the coupon you are using.  Then she explained to me that the coupon was not good on trial or kid’s sizes and I told her that this was neither of those.  She said it was only good on the cookies that were displayed on the coupon and I asked her where it stated that on the coupon and then she brought up the fact that I was getting the wrong size again.  I asked politely for my coupon back and told her I would not be coming back into her store again and stated that they look at couponers as thieves and that this particular Rite aid is not nor has it ever been very coupon friendly.  I will only go to the rite aid where I work from now on, I never have a problem there.  I called corporate immediately and made a formal complaint.  I am waiting to hear from them.  Oh well, that’s why I frequent wags the most, never a problem at any of their locations!  Just thought I would vent a little here.  Thanks for reading my rant!  LOL

The picture says the oreo bag is only $0.99, so if you buy 2 and use the coupon wouldn’t it be free?

Can you load your adperk coupons on your riteaid card?

  5. I am a little confused? Since the ad-perk coupon is for 2 How can you use it on a bogo? Or is this because it is not a manufacturer’s coupon?

Since the coupon attatches to the free item and you can’t use a coupon on a free item at Rite Aid you would have to buy 4 and it comes out to $0.49 each wyb 4 and use the $1/2 coupon.

I personally did this deal, only bought 2. It worked just fine! It also worked last week on the buy one get one free sale on the Arm & Hammer toothpaste. Only purchased 2 and used a coupon for $1.00/2.

      •  Thanks! I am gonna try it, I love my Rite Aid, They are great! I did the Arm and Hammer Detergent last week, only used 1 Q but I had 15 dollars in + ups rewards I needed to use, so It ended up being super cheap even with only 1 Q.

Hi KCL you know I think you’re the greatest and am forever greatful for all the things I’ve learned from your site so please don’t think I’m questioning you in a bad way. I just want to be sure on the terms of the coupon because I’m still a little confused. There was a post on this site from 5/10 for the sale on Arm and Hammer detergent on sale at Rite Aid BOGO free and in the scenario it says buy 6 and use (1) $1/2 coupon and underneath the scenario it says ” you can only use 1 $1.00/2 coupon in this scenario because you can only apply a “cents off” coupon on each item you are paying for (not the free items). I just was going by that post when I was commenting on buying 4 instead of 2 for the Oreo scenario. We’re all on this site to learn and I learn something new everday when it comes to couponing so I was just hoping you could solve my confusion. Thanks so much KCL.

I was under the impression that we couldn’t use a coupon on the free item as well, so you’d have to buy 4 to use the $1 off 2, since you are only paying for two…right?

  6. where do i get this coupon?
