Rite Aid Extreme Couponing (week of 5/20): $5.00 or Less

Rite Aid Extreme Couponing (week of 5/20): $5.00 or Less

Welcome to this post where we will lay out some extreme couponing deals that will cost you about $5.00 each week! First, here’s everything you need to know about shopping at Rite Aid:

Before shopping at RiteAid you should sign up for a Wellness card or get one in your store.  The best deals at Rite Aid utilize the +Up Rewards and the Single Check Rebate (SCR) system.   In addition to the +Up Rewards, which are coupons that print with your receipt (similar to CVS), Rite Aid sends you a monthly check for the total of all your rebates purchased during that month with the SCR program.  You can cash the check as you would any other check.  In addition to the +Up Rewards and the SCR program, you can watch videos on products and receive Video Value coupons.  These coupons can be printed from your computer after you watch the corresponding videos. You can use each coupon once per Wellness card.   Go here for RiteAid’s updated coupon policy and here to watch the video on shopping at Rite Aid.

Does anyone know where to find the mayo coupon?  It is gone from the making life better link.  Thanks!

    The coupon is for 1 cottonelle toilet paper and wipes.  So it will not work on just the wipes. :{

Grrr, I was reminded again tonight how important it is to CHECK YOUR RECEIPT BEFORE LEAVING THE STORE!!   I bought 2 of the Veet wax boxes (used 2 $2/1 MQ & 2 $2/1 in ad Q), and was supposed to get a $1 +UP for each one, but the +UP rewards did not print correctly. They printed without barcodes & the expiration dates have a bunch of symbols where the numbers should be.   =(
So now I have to go back tomorrow and straighten the mess out….I find myself having to get a lot of things “fixed” like this…so I want to say that couponing is worth it, but these instances are discouraging…just my two cents after reading the post last night about couponing and the time it takes, etc…

my rite aid doesnt give out the coupons anymore they should load directly to your rewards card. the printout on your reciept is just letting you know what your rewards are.  you can always register and track everything on thier website(load Q’s to your card and get video values too. myrite aid lets me use a VVQ’s the RA insert Q and a mfr Q )

i found the coupon but it says any cottonelle toilet paper AND cottonelle flushable moist wipes….

  5. I got a big surprise when I purchased 3 – 1lb bags of Wonderful Pistachios at Rite Aid yesterday. They were advertised $4.99 ea. (reg. $8.29) and get +UP of $1. on ea. w/limit of 3. So I picked up 3 lbs. When I looked at my reg. tape it not only had 3 – $1.+UP rewards but it also has 2 – $2.+UP rewards and they all state for having purchased the Pistachios. I’m very pleased but also very confused.

The $2 +up reward is from a monthly deal on the Pistachios. Limit 2

      • I didn’t know anything about a monthly deal on Pistachios. When and where was that info published?

        • Anonymous says:

Usually the monthly deals are on the yellow stickers next to the price but just like you I got a surprise when I received the $2 +up reward  when I bought these a couple weeks ago.I guess it’s one of those unadvertised deals that we see often at Rite Aid.

          • It was a nice surprise and I guess I’ll have to pay more attention to stickers next to products. It would be nice to know what to expect so that I know I’m getting everything that I should be getting. I looked on RiteAid.com to try to find out info on monthly deals but there was absolutely no link to anything like that except the Single Check Rebates.

Are the 1 lb.pistachios on sale for $4,99 in all Rite Aid stores or is this a regional price? My store has the 8 oz. ones for 4.99?  Thanks for your help!

I think it would be better if you use the $3 SCR on clorox..please correct me if I’m wrong..I would like to do this..buy 2 clorox bleach 960z for $1.88 each…use 2 $.50c off coupon from their facebook page..so pay $2.76 plus tax and get back $3 in SCR

    ” $1.00/1 Hellman’s, 16.5 oz+ (no trial) from SS 5/20 (exp 6/17)”

… It’s actually in the 5/20 RP. Took me about 15 minutes to figure it out. Hope it helps someone.

  8. Petra Clarke says:

The Veet Depilatories and Wax in-ad coupon says Manufacturer, can I still combine that with the $2 Manufacturer on the facebook page I just printed?

  9. jason says:

for those who get the RA ad today:

there is a .50/1 any colgate toothpaste MQ that expires today (5/19/12)  i don’t remember which insert it came from though, as i had it clipped for another deal that i ended up not doing.

  10. LM says:

Will the Colgate Qs really work? The ad shows regular Colgate toothpaste and the Qs are for Total Advanced, Optic White and Sensitive Pro Relief. Is it possible that these are included in the sale?

    • Anonymous says:

Sale started yesterday in SoCal and the Cogate Total wasn’t on sale, just the regular Colgate so a no go for that coupon.

    • Anonymous says:

After looking at it closer, you are right.  It is for the regular Colgate.  Let’s get mayonnaise instead!!  We all have plenty of toothpaste and a food item is always a good buy- especially this week!
