Can someone tell me if i do $24 transaction of suave, will it print $8 extrabucks or do i need to do separate transactions and get $4 extrabucks each time?

  2. The 3$/10 coupon actually works on all beauty products… I know it says ‘cosmetics’, but it is working on all beauty products. Someone else reported this on their brag, and I tried it today. I even asked the cashier about it… it scans, no needing to override it. This makes for some really excellent suave deals (the limit for those is at least 4! I’ve done it three times and it doesn’t say offer limit reached yet).

  3. Anonymous says:

is it the pre-coupon total that counts for beauty club ?

    • Anonymous says:

Yep, the cost of the item (pretax) that rings up at the register will be the amount that counts towards your beauty club :)

  4. I did mine this way:
4 Sally Hansen Insta Dry Nail Polish $2.99 (on sale)
    Used 2 $1/2 manufacturers coups
Used $3/$10 Magic Coupon Machine coup
And got $3 ECB for buying over $10 of the Insta Dry
So it was $11.96, less $5 in coups, for 6.96 OOP, with $3.00 ECB for next week!  Less than $1 a bottle!! woot!

  5. Anonymous says:

Can anyone confirm the limit on the Almay? is it 2 for sure?

    • Anonymous says:

It is limit 2 for sure.  I got 2 ECBs, but I did it over 2 transactions.  I’m not sure if it will work in one transaction or not. HTH

  6. Jackie Beal says:

I noticed I didn’t trigger some of the ECB opportunities I could have by looking at the bottom of my receipt now.  For instance:
Crest, spend $10 get $5 EB:
    Amount toward this reward $4.88
Amount needed to earn reward $5.12

Can I go back this week and spend $5.12 on something Crest and still get the $5 ECB on my printout????

  7. Do I have to buy 3 Rimmel or could I buy like 1 Rimmel ($3.49) and 1 Almay ($7.49)?

    • Jenni Sweat says:

      Sure…your deal would be..
      1 Rimmel $3.49
      1 Almay $7.49
      Total: 10.98
      -$1 Rimmel MQ
      -$1 Almay MQ
      -$3/$10 CVS Q
      Total: $5.98

It’s just if you want to get extra bucks in addition to using the $3/$10 coupon, then you need to do one of the deals in this post.

    • Anonymous says:

Jenni is correct! You can do your scenario, but no ECB will print on your receipt :)

  8. Anonymous says:

Wouldn’t the total for the 3 almay icolor be 16.47? 3/10 beauty purchase, and $3.00 off from the mq coupons. $22.47-6=16.47

    • Anonymous says:

Thanks for catching this – updated!

      • Anonymous says:

:) Very excited about the revlon nailpolish! I also noticed that the pantene deal seems to have more than 1 eb limit (atleast on my receipt)-

        •  Yes, the limit actually appears to be 4. I did the pantene yesterday (only 4 bottles) and got 2EB… I read a post on another site (can’t remember which) where someone said they got 3 or 4. It seems like a lot of EB deals actually have a limit of more than 1. The suave deal has a limit of at least 3.

  9. Marissa says:

i dont understand about the limit increases can someone explain?

    • Jessica Shannon says:

Originally you could only earn 1 ECB (even the sales ad says limit 1). But now you can earn 6 EBC’s. You can buy up to 6 of the Revlon polishes and receive up to 6 $3 ECB’s.

      • Jenni Sweat says:

Is there somewhere CVS posts this? The sales tag still said limit one in my store today.

        • Anonymous says:

Nope, the only way you know is by purchasing an item that produces ECB, and then checking the bottom of your receipt. If it does not say “Offer Limit Reached” on that Extra Bucks deal, then you can do the deal again. You can keep doing that deal until it says “Offer Limit Reached”

  10. Could I use three of the
    1.00/1 Revlon
ColorStay Longwear Nail Enamel Tearpad coupon on the Revlon deal making it free after EB?

      • Linda Maness says:

ok yesterday i went to cvs and checked the coupon machine.  I got the following:
        $5 off $15 purchase
        $3 off $10 cosmetics
        $5 Beauty rewards
        $5 preferred customer..
        $1 green tag reward

So can one of you experts give me a good scenario that I could get the maximum extra bucks?  I am so bad when it comes to these and I want to get the most for my extra bucks and not spend anything out of pocket.
I used all of my Wet N Wild coupons at Walgreens and got 10 items free last week, so I don’t have that coupon.

        • Anonymous says:

          I would try this:
          Buy 3 revlon nail polishes = $14.97
          Use $5 off $15
                 $5 preferred customer
                 $5 beauty rewards
          Pay  tax only
          Get back $9 in ECB’s
…. just FYI it will probably print a $9 ECB and not seperate $3 ECB’s ( if you didnt already know) Thats just one scenario I personally would do……. another thing is that the $14.97 will go towards your next beauty rewards total! HTH :)

        • Anonymous says:

I think Deezybooboo has a great scenario! You might not be able to use the $5/$15 since you would be $0.03 short, but if that’s the case then just use the $3/$10 :)

  11. Jessica Shannon says:

I’m planning to work the deal like this.
Buy 2 Revlon ColorStay Nail Polish $4.99, Sale PriceBuy 1, Receive $3.00 Extra Bucks, Limit increased to 6
Buy 1 Wet N Wild $0.99 PolishUse $3.00/$10.00 Any Cosmetics from the CVS Coupon Machine
Use 2 $1/1 Revlon Color Stay Peelies
    Use 1 $1/1 Wet N Wild cosmetic from 5/13
Use $4.98 ECB from Colgate deal a few weeks agoPay $0, Receive $6.00 Extra BucksFinal Price: FREE with $6ECB for later

       Awesome scenario!

    • I did it tonight and buying 4 of the $4.99 Revlon nail polish, being short 4 cents for 2 of the save $3 on $10 beauty coupons worked no problem. They were the first coupons she scanned and the $3 rang up. Then used 4 Revlon nail tear pad coupons (found mine at Rite Aid) and bought some 75% off 3 Musketeer Truffle (29 cents) and with my extra bucks the total was a big ol’ goose egg. I’d never calculated EXACT like that and it was a pretty cool feeling to only pay tax. Then of course got $12 EB back ($2 MM).

  12. My store had $1 off Color Stay coupons on the display so paired with the $3 off $10 coupon I got 2 bottles free today after using ECB’s from last week!

  13. Nicole says:

Hi…I think the $.50 off of Sally Hansen is no longer available..

  14. Anonymous says:

For the revlon, in order to use the $3.00 off coupon, could I just buy two? Does CVS round up?

    • Erica Hughes says:

That’s what I did and it worked :)

      • Anonymous says:

        • Anonymous says:

I did the same thing and it worked. I asked before hand and the cashier said it would. They round it up.
I got 2, Paid $6.98 and got $6 EB back. Plus made $5 in my beauty rewards! Thinking of going back for more since the limit is 6 and you can never have enough mail polish. And sicnd I got another $3/10 cvs coupon from the machine today!

    • Anonymous says:

CVS rounds up when distributing extra bucks: If there were a promotion that gave $3ecb for buying $10 of _____ ,$9.80 pre-tax ______merchandise would still trigger $3 (hopefully!). However i believe the $3/$10 cosmetic CVS coupon should only be applied to purchases which meet or exceed $10 specification

If your Revlon nail polishes are priced $4.99 buying two for $9.98 does not quite make it. I’ll be looking for a cheap cosmetic item to bump my subtotal (pre-tax and pre-coupons) above $10

      • Jackie Beal says:

Something didn’t trigger $3 ECB for me today and I can’t figure out which it was:
I bought 2 Rimmel London nail polishes at $4.89 each ($3 ECB when you spend $10 on Rimmel)
I bought 2 Sally Hansen Insta-Dry and 1 Sally Hansen Nail Treatment $2.99+$2.99+$5.49 ($3 ECB when you spend  $10 on Sally Hansen)

I ended up using all $8 of my ECBs from the transaction (got $3 from 4 Skippy PB, $2 from Crest 3D, and $3 from one of the above) to buy the Off Backyard for $11.99 and the $1 coupon on the bottle ($3.24 out of pocket for the Off)

        • Jenni Sweat says:

I can see why you didn’t get Eb’s from the Rimmel…most of the time CVS will round up if your total for a $10 purchase is $9.97+ but not for a gap of 22 cents. Sorry! : (

        • Anonymous says:

Usually you can check the bottom of your receipt to see which deals are in-progress or have been reached. Based on what you’ve said I believe it’s the Rimmel London nail polish deal. With (2)$4.89= $9.78 you’re two pennies short of CVS’s grace margin for $10 deals!
There are $1/Rimmel Eye, Nail, or Face product coupons on RedPlum’s site if you plan on buying another $0.02+ Rimmel London item to get the $3ecb

      • Anonymous says:

I bought 2 and it worked! I even asked before hand and the cashier and the manager told me it would work.
