  1. I went to Walmart today and found the twin packs, but they were around $9… I don’t get that; this post says they’re $5.48..

I lovvved this deal. I’m in Florida and surprisingly there were a lot left. I stocked up as much as I could. My husband likes to decide to grill at the last minute and runs out to the nearest store without looking at prices (silly man)…This wil definately keep him from wasting money :).

Mine always decides at the last minute too and will pay whatever the price is :-(…. Not anymore!!!  We should have enough now to last us until next year (at least)!!

I went to my Walmart this morning for this deal and they were out….I happened into Home Depot next and they have 13.9lb. twin packs for $5.88. Still not a bad deal at $2.94 a bag!

can we get a rain check if they are out?

Unfortunately Wal-mart doesn’t offer rain checks, but I can confirm the Home Depot deal.  I grabbed 2 13.9lb twin packs for $5.88 each package & used 2 $2 off q’s.  I also scored on the Wal-mart deal earlier this week w/ 3 15lb twin packs.

Thanks for the heads up because I’ve been scouting Wal-mart’s all week since I found out about it on Tuesday.  I was able to find 3 twin packs @ Wal-mart Tuesday & I went this morning and got 2 more from Home Depot!!  They had 4 pallets out & an employee said they had another 4 in the back so I think I may get more this afternoon!! Thanks :-)

  5. This was from January. I don’t think it has anything to do with the $2.00 Mothers Day coupon. I have not heard anyone saying these coupons aren’t working! Hopefully you were able to print one or two out when they were available!

Please look at the date of the posts and comments, This apparently was posted in late Jan. 2012

  7. My Walmart in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, is completely out.  They only received 3 pallets and cannot get anymore product in.  Just an fyi…….save a trip!

Was told I can price match at target and also get a $5 target giftcard. I’m heading there tomorrow.

Sry BYT, Was so excited and didnt compare the sizes. Tried it and was told they are not the same in size, Target’s one is larger. So they wont do it.  :(

Being an employee of walmart a few of us were able to order some. I’ve NEVER seen anything sell out as fast as this charcoal did! rofl, the second they rolled the pallets out it was all gone! I’d suggest if you live in a busy area (esp since grill season starts this weekend) I’d call your store and ask if they will order you more. The sale date is pretty long, but at this price they go quick! (my store went through 8 pallets in 1 day!)

  12. We bought 12 dbl packs.  hoping to stock up some more tomorrow.  We grill alot and it doesn’t expire.  I’ve been grilling for 7yrs and have never seen it this cheap!

  13. I got these at Walmart on Saturday and paid $9.48 each for 4 of them….LUCKILY i just found my receipt…i will be getting my $16.00 back :))

There was a coupon but what she is saying is that walmart has a two pack so she gave you the price per bag.  I had a $2 coupon and got 4 bags for $8.06.  If you are planning on getting them go now and there still may be some left, don’t wait until the weekend.

Are you talking about the 2$ coupon from grilling.com? Just so our readers know, that coupon is no longer available but $2.74 per bag is still an enormous deal!

  15. Do you need a coupon at Walmart to reduce the price from $5.48 to $2.74?
