It happened to me very often not only in Walgreens but also in Riteaid, some cashiers just hate people buying free stuff, especially making money for using coupons. There was one casher in Rite aid just simply rejected my Q every time, his reason was if I used it, I was not only buying it for free, but also made money out of it. So I needed to call manager to ok it. But seriously who has the time for it? I totally know how you feel, they tried to make us feel bad because we did our homework and spend the time clipping coupon.

Cashiers can be very misinformed.  I just had one tell me at Safeway that the grocers only get back a percentage of the coupon amount that you redeem.  I told her that they get back the entire amount from the company that issued the coupon but she said that is what management is telling her.  The only thing I can think of is that they are figuring in any coupon errors and incorrectly taken coupons.

I feel so bad that you have been treated that way!! :*( I dont get why cashiers ever get mad about coupons like it’s not money out of THERE pockets!? I’d be so excited if I was a cashier and be like wow you saved so much!!!! :) haha

Have you contacted the corp. office about them?? That is what I would suggest you do, you should NOT feel bad for saving money!!! Don’t let them rain on your parade!

  13. I love a good money maker! Especially if it is something we use! Thank-you:)

  14. I usually apply my extra towards getting a few more newspapers

You will pay $7 and get $10 RR back = $3 MM

    • at walgreens they have register rewards. That means if you make a qualifying purchase, usually in featured in their weekly ad, a coupon will print from the catalina machine next to the register. In this deal starting 6/3 this fish oil product will be on sale for $10. If you use the coupon featured here.. you will only pay $7.00 + tax out of pocket but $10 dollars will print in the form of a coupon which you can later use on a another purchase in the store. So its kind of like making $3.00 since you only paid seven and got back ten. Get it? Hope I helped

On the bottom of your receipt there is a number to call for a survey. I suggest to call and tell them how bad the employees are. Maybe by calling several times they will get a call from corporate office and stop with their attitude towards you. And by calling several times you might win the monthly sweepstakes for $3,000. 8)

You won’t actually receive $3.00 in cash. You’ll pay $7.00 in cash after your coupon and the sale. But you’ll get a $10.00 Register Reward to use on a future purchase, so it you will come out ahead by $3.00.
