Got 2 of these for only $0.98 today since it was 2/$8.98.  Walgreens coupon took off $4, and I had 2 $2/1 coupon…yay.  Not sure when this deal ends though.

  3. So stoked, I just got mine….$1.57 for two =)  Even the clerk, who was irritated at first was impressed…LOL!  Score!

I got a different deal at my KC Walgreens.  2 Sally Hansen Hair Remover kits for 2 for $8.98, used 2 $2 Walgreens Sally Hansen coupons, and 2 $2 manufacturer Sally Hansen coupons.  $8.98 – $4 Walgreens coupons – $4 manufacturer coupons = $.98 for 2 kits or $.49 each.  Killer deal!

  5. Kay says:

I actually got them for .49 ea also!!

Should we have the wallgreens coupon scanned first and then do the manq second?

    • Anonymous says:

From what I understand, once that Walgreens coupon is scanned the system will deduct it from the original price, not the 50% off price.

  8. i just did this deal

    $5.99 + $ 2.99 = $8.98 discount applied first.
    -$4 wags discount
    -$4 coupons (2 $2)

    Paid $.98 for two

I have a couple of $3.00 off any Sally Hansen Wax Kit peelies…can these be used and how would it work out if so??? Thanks!

  10. the manager told me that you can no longer combine the booklet coupons with manufacture cause the coupon says not valid with any other offer only from the walgreens ad you can combine

    • Anonymous says:

Walgreens corporate policy says otherwise, and oftentimes so do their own weekly ads. If your cashier can’t show you this “policy change” in writing, take it with a grain of salt ;)

    • I kept getting these responses from cashiers too, and I reported it to corporate. I also now keep a copy of the policy in my binder, because this happens all too frequently in Wags. I hardly ever go there anymore because of the runaround from their cashiers and their beeping registers.

The waxes are 2/8.98 for the box pictured above for face, eyebrows and bikini and cost 2/10.98 for the leg and underarm one at my walgreens. Awesome deal :)

There’s also a $2 coupon in fyi :) I printed off 2 from the links you provided above, plus 2 from

  13. the 1sr q is out of prints and the sally hansen site isn’t working for me either.  anyone else having trouble getting the mf q?

Also I grabbed 2 coupon Walgreen booklets and I got a dirty look from the cashier. Should I have only taken one?

    •  I don’t think it really matters. I mean you only need one unless you were getting it for a friend/family. When using the Walgreens coupon booklet they just scan it right from the book and there is no need to tear/cut the coupons out. But my store has them all over the store. I sometimes end up taking 2 because sometimes the cashier scans the coupons but does not give me my booklet back and I don’t realize until it is to late.

They cut them at my store…  Even though I have told the cashier that “I think” (I’m sure cause of previous purchases) that she doesn’t have to but she still ripped them off…  Oh well… :-/

  15. MISTY SUTTON says:

I was at Walgreens today. They had the Sally Hansen Pure Scent~sation on clearance for $4.49. Used both the coupons listed above. Total spent .64 cents. I have used this one before and I loved it.

  16. Bren Smith says:

Just got back from a quick Wags trip and the Sally Hansen hair removal products had shelf tags that said “$5.99 each or 2/$8.98″. This made for an even sweeter deal as it took 2- $2 Wags IVC  and  2- $2 MFC . Paid .49 each. Great deal but shelves were already pretty much cleared. I am used to the scenario KCL described and was pleasantly surprised by how this store had them marked. I wonder if it has anything to do with the new registers that are a real pain.

Great price but does anyone know how well it works?  I always use a cream and never tried the wax.  How bad does it hurt?

    • Anonymous says:

Saryna, it doesn’t really hurt but read my comment above under Marta Lopez’s comment so you know my experience.  With the green one I was so satisfied that I went and got the deal for the purple ones and that happened to me…  HTH…

    • Anonymous says:

Hey Saryna, I googled reviews about these wax kits and most of them are bad…  Maybe you’d like to read them all to make a conclusion and decide if to get them or not… ;)

  18. Anyone have to buy filler items?  My Walgreens does not allow the use of more coupons than products bought.

    • All walgreens require filler items. Its in their policy you cannot use more manufacturer coupons than items. RR’s count as a coupon as well Store coupons don’t count in the product:coupon ratio.

    • Anonymous says:

Hi Stephen – that is corporate-wide Walgreens policy. However, store coupons do not count in that calculation. Think of them more as a reduction in the price than a payment on the total. HTH!

How is it possible to use the June book when its still May?? My Wags said I had to wait…

  20. Marta Lopez says:

5.99+2.99 = 8.98 – (2) $2/1 -(2) $2/1= .98 for BOTH Walgreen Booklet Am i doing the math wrong or the walgreens coupon will only take off $2 because 1 is 50% off?

    • Tria Galang says:

i think your computation is right. the wags coupon should take $4.00 off :) i think i’m gonna buy some :P

      • Marta Lopez says:

yay.I tried this along time ago but wasnt fan of the price. But at .49 im stocking up!!I hope my wags have the June Booklets in :)

        • Anonymous says:

I’, not completely satisfied with the purple (lavender) wax that’s supposed to be for sensitive skins because it actually ripped of part of my skin and left the hair on my legs…  Major ouch!  And these strips actually don’t get all the hair out on my lower legs…  I had a good experience with the green wax bottle though…  I don’t know what happened with the purple ones…  I wonder if they were maybe expired…  I bought them a few weeks ago at Walgreens when they were also B1G1 50% off… :-/

      • Anonymous says:

Hi Tria, we explained the math in our response to Marta – just remember, the 50% off does not get applied until after the Walgreens coupon. That’s why it ends up being LESS of a discount in the final price. HTH!

    • Anonymous says:

As we mention in the post, the Walgreens store coupon gets applied first, so the 50% is taken off that reduced price. So, it rings up as 2 for $5.99 each, minus the $2 each in Walgreens coupons, leaving you with $3.99 each. THEN the 50% off the second item is applied (only $2.00 off as opposed to $3.00 off, had it been applied before the Walgreens coupon).

So $3.99 for the first item, and $2.00 for the second item. Then apply the manufacturers coupons and you’re final total is $1.99 for two, or $.99 each.

I hope that makes sense. I know my head is spinning! Let me know if you have any other questions :)
