Here are the deals happening this week at Safeway!  Prices are valid 5/30 – 6/5 unless otherwise stated.

This week, in some areas, there is a doubler in the ad that allows you to double up to 4 coupons! The face value of the coupon (before doubling) must be $0.50 or less. This is limited to one doubler per transaction per household per week. That means you can only double 4 coupons during the ENTIRE sales week. We’ve provided scenarios, choose wisely! (The doubler is a coupon found on the front page of the ad. This is a regional coupon and will not be available in all areas.)

On my J4u strawberries are $1.99lb & then they were B1G1 free, only $1 each!

  2. Anonymous says:

are ocean spray fruit snacks a brand of betty crocker ?

  3. Anonymous says:

    I love your website!!!

  4. Anonymous says:

There was a coupon for $1/3 Sweet Baby Ray’s Any Flavor / Any Size on the front of SS 5/20.
If they are $2.49 each (as stated above) and B2G1 Free…

Buy 6 (get another 3 free for the free ones)
    Use (2) $1/3 SBR
    Pay $12.94
Final Price: $1.44 each for 9 bottles

  5. I am not quite understanding this coupon loading stuff yet.  So if I load coupons from the Coupon Center on to my card – lets say $1 off, can I use a manufacturer coupon as well?  Or is it one or the other?

    • Anonymous says:

Yes you can! I tried it last week!

    • Anonymous says:

The coupons loaded to your card in the Just For U program are in store coupons and they are letting you use manufacturer’s coupons as well!  This makes for some great deals!

  6. does anyone know if you have to spend $75 before coupons or after coupons to get the $10 back?

    • Anonymous says:

This can depend on your local Safeway or affiliate’s store policy.  I would give them a quick call before you go to the store and ask them about this.  I like to politely ask who I am speaking with so you have a name just in case there is a problem at the register.

  7. Selena says:

IN regards to the Sweet Baby Ray’s Deal. A few months back I emailed the company and told them I loved their product and they mailed me a coupon for a free bottle of SBR and another for 1.00 off of any bottle of SBR. Could I use those towards the deal? The scenario would go something like this:

BUY 3 bottle’s of Sweet Baby Ray BBQ Sauce at 2.49 each
1 will be free as part of the Safeway deal
1 will be free by using the man. q.
and use 1.00 off any bottle of SBR

Pay 1.49 for 3 bottles or 0.49 cents each.

So if I still have my Oceanspray b1g1free coupon can I buy 1 juice get the cherry juice free then get the safeway deal and get another free?  So i’d be paying for 1 and get 2 free, does this sound right?

  9. Guest says:

Did anyone else’s ad mention when you buy 2 or more of 150 oz Tide/All, Hefty trash bags, 24 roll Quilted Northern or 12 roll Bounty you get them for $3 each??  That is KRAZY!!!  I still have my $2 Tide coupon!!! :)

    • Anonymous says:

It’s not $3 each but you get $3 off of each. I went today and the the tag for the Bounty said $10.99 wyb 2 so that’s the price after the $3 is taken off wyb 2.

  10. Shevy says:

Yay so happy about these deals, my family loves Reese’s puff cereal so getting it for .79 cents a box is a great deal. :)

    • Guest says:

I must be blind b/c I didn’t see that in the list…do you mind sharing that deal?  We went from a family of 6 to a family of 8 & go through cereal almost faster than I can find deals for it!!!

      • Anonymous says:

The General Mills sites have printables but the Reese’s Puffs said it was no longer available so I ended up with a $1.10  off 2 coupon and got the Coco Puff’s and Reese’s for $1.44 each with in ad coupon and MQ. I usually don’t like to pay more than $1 for a box of cereal but we needed it.

      • Shevy says:

There was a printable one  for .60 cents a few weeks back and they are all gone now. :( . As a heads up there is a trix coupon for .50 cents that u should print and hold on to, because safeway usually holds their cereal deals back to back sometimes.

  11. and if you’re signed up at safeway.com and get the Just4U prices matched with the B2G1F like the ocean spray$1.96 and the golden grains $1.23. And where I am in California you get 4x the gas rewards if you pay with a gift card plus if you shop fri-mon you get $10 for every $75 spent … I cant wait to go shopping FRIDAY!!!

  12. Angie Teagle says:

with the Del Monte fruit cups, the coupon states you have to buy 4, so doesn’t that mean we’d need to buy one at regular price in order to use the coupon?
so at 2.99 each, plus the buy1get2 sale:
     8.97 total
    -1.00coupon = 7.97
    $1.99 each.
Still a decent price for me, but you have to buy 4

  13. Anonymous says:

Can you stack manufacturer’s coupons with the Safeway coupons? There aren’t any matchups in that section but I thought Safeway allowed that???

    • Anonymous says:

yes you can and lots of the in ad coupons listed have manufacturer coupons that can be stacked with them. I printed some coupons for the general mills cereals just now.

    • Anonymous says:

Yes you can.  You can also do the Just For You feature on Safeway.com.  You add all of the in-ad coupons directly to your card and it comes off at checkout.  They also have a Personalized Deals section based on your past spending habits.  I got my Tazo Chai concentrate that I am addicted to for cheaper than I can get it with my employee discount at BN.  Then you just have to worry about using your manufacturer q’s without having to cut up your ad.  I was worried that it wouldn’t work but everything came off just fine the 1st time I tried it.

      • Angie Teagle says:

so, when you added the “coupons” to your card, they took it off AND took off a manufacturer q??? They state that they won’t do that, so I’ve always been afraid to try, but they WILL stack a paper in-ad coupon with a manufacturer…where do you live?  Just curious if it’s a regional rule..

        • Anonymous says:

If you load the Safeway coupons, it should stack anywhere according to their coupon policy. But if you load the manufacturer’s coupons, you will not be able to use a printed/newspaper coupon that is not a Safeway coupon.

        • Anonymous says:

Sorry about not replying sooner, had computer issues :)  MD_Lisa is correct.  Just remember that when you look at the Coupons section of Safeway.com, the q’s that won’t stack are the cents/dollars off and the ones that will stack are the ones that give a sale price.  For example, I bought Cheerios today at the in-ad price of $1.99 (added to my card before I left home) and used .50/1 coupons to make each box about $1.49.

      • Anonymous says:

Thank you so much. I had completely forgotten about the Just For You feature!

        • Anonymous says:

I really like it!  I also get the ad to use in case I have coupons that state “no more than 2 like q’s in one transaction.”  That way I can add the J4U q’s and use the in-ad coupon on another day.  Hope that makes sense…

    • Anonymous says:

My Safeway ad this week said these in ad coupons cannot be doubled, however this may be regional.  I have not had any trouble using the Just for U coupons added to my Safeway card with manufacturer’s coupons.

  14. Thanks for your hard work..love Safeway!

  15. Love Safeway, thanks for the matchups!
