Kroger has disappointed me once again.  I was going to take advantage of the Kikkoman Catalina with the coupons from this past Sunday’s paper.  The regular price for Kikkoman Marinade & Sauce, 10 oz, is $1.59 at Meijer and $2.20 at Kroger!  Week after week I find huge differences in prices. I’d faithfully shop at Kroger week after week until following KCL. It’s scary to think about how much I wasn’t saving (even with coupons). So thankful for all you do, KCL.

My local Ralphs (Kroger) has the All laundry detergent 32 load size advertised at $2.88. Combine that with a $1/1 coupon and you get 32 loads for just $1.88!

Free Farmer John breakfast sausage at Kroger affiliate store “Food for Less” stores in Southern California!
If your in So Calif,  Food for Less just came out with their new ad (6/6/12) . In the ad it lists Farmer John breakfast sausage for 98 cents each.
If you use the $1.00 off coupon from SS 5/20, it is FREE!!
Sale price lasts until 6/12. And no, this is not a part of any “Must Buy X amount” to get this price.

Is there a way to access next week’s, (June 10) ad for Kroger? I am going to Myrtle Beach this Friday and shopping Sat and Sunday for the week we will be there……any tips suggestions are helpful. I did speak with the manager already and he nicely explained their doubling up to .50 policy and 5 mfg limit. I have not EVER shopped at Kroger! But I’m optimistic;) Thanks gang for all the help so far ad help sure to come! Destiny~ Lafayette, La~ Myrtle Beach Bound

Destiny, We will post the new Kroger matchups as soon as possible. They usually post on Saturday afternoon!

  5. Kroger has All laundry soap on sale this week for $2.99 and in sundays RP there was $1 off  1. Makeing them $1.99. Would you consider this a stock up price?

    • Anonymous says:

It would be pretty close to a stockup price, it depends on the size.  Many times it is better to buy several smaller sizes with coupons than the bigger size that is more expensive.

      • I went there yesterday and I still had 3 of the $6 off your next purchase from the week befor I had to use they expired today. So I got 6 bottles of All 32 load laundry soap, 2 two litters of Pepsi, 2 eight packs of gatorade, and 2 boxes of Kraft macaroni and cheese. I used the 3 $6 oynp and 6 $1 off All. I only paid $10.20 out of pocket for about $55 worth of stuff.

  6. i just came back from kroger and got 6 aquafresh full size toohpaste for free with coupon.
they are 10/$10 and i had 6 $1 off coupon.

    pretty good deal

  7. The Chi-Chi’s tortillas are $1.19 after the 50% off, which means that after the coupon doubles, you pay $0.19/pkg.  That’s definitely good enough for me!

    • Anonymous says:

I’m in the Cincinnati area, and found these great stack ups for the 50% off products:  Chi-Chi’s tortillas on sale for 1.25, after the double coupon 0.25 each; Chi-Chi’s salsa on sale for 1.44, after the double coupon 0.44 each; Frigo Cheese sticks on sale for 3.19, after the double coupon 2.19 each!

    • SunnyHavens says:

Thanks, Sarah!  We’re having Tex-Mex night and you saved me some money.

  8. Anonymous says:

where is the life savers tearpad? Also what is a blinkie? Also can u use the coupon on the life savers gummies?

    • Anonymous says:

Usually tearpads are attached to the shelf near the item they are for.  The blinkies are little coupon machines that are usually attached to shelves or freezer doors and have little blinking lights on them and you can pull a coupon out.  You should be able to use the coupon on gummies as long as the coupon does not say “excludes gummies”.

  9. Dana Johnson says:

I went into my Kroger yesterday, disappointed with this matchup but still needed a few items. I grabbed an ad and went thru the store checking prices on the 50% off items since it’s not marked in the store. On my way, I stumbled across some great clearance finds and did find that some of the 50% off items prices were decent with my coupons. Also, when my store orders alot of one thing for a sale, they sometimes keep that sale price going into the next week as an in store promo to get rid of the extra stock that didn’t sale, so several of last week’s great sale items are still on for me this week. Don’t get too discouraged by an ad, check out ur store for hidden gems and things not listed!

I am here in Arizona, and we dont have a Krogers, here it is called Frys. However I wanted to add that here Frys has a sale on the Dannon Oikos 5.3oz cup for .77cents each. With the use of the coupon $0.50/2 Dannon Oikos Greek Yogurt from SS 5/20, and after Frys doubles your coupon final price is .20cents each!! That is a stock up price

  11. Anonymous says:

Her in Arizona Krogers is called Frys..and I wanted to add that the Dannon Oikos 5.3oz cups are on sale here @ Frys for .77cents. With the use of the coupon $0.50/2 Dannon Oikos Greek Yogurt from SS 5/20, Frys doubles your coupon, so end price is .20cents each.

My Kroger appears to be doing a “50% off” sale…which typically means they raise the prices of the items by 30% first, then take half off. :)
Anybody have a link to the list of items?  I need to figure out how to spend my OYNO $$ at Kroger this week…and it doesn’t look like it is going to be easy. :(

    • Anonymous says:

       iheartkro… has one.
I have read elsewhere that Some Meijer’s are accepting competitor coupons. I haven’t tried it yet, but if your OYNO says manufacturer coupon, I think there is a very good chance they will honor it. It might be worth a call to the store to find out.

      • Anonymous says:

So….we tried last Saturday (my Saturday shopping buddy and me) at the Meijer on Hilliard-Rome.  I went first, and only used 1 Target coupon.  He started to tell me that he couldn’t take it.  I said, yes you will my slow friend, it is part of your new coupon policy.  He took it.
My buddy went next…he probably had 20 Target coupons (haha).  After his brief confrontation with me, he didn’t even question my friend and his tons of Target coupons – he just pushed them through. :)

        • SunnyHavens says:

Did you try the OYNO at Meijer?

          • Anonymous says:

Not yet…and I might not even go to Meijer this week.  I don’t like driving to Hilliard-Rome road if I can avoid it, and my normal Saturday shopping buddy is out of town this weekend, so I am not as motivated.
I wish they would put a “high end” Meijer somewhere near the Market Place Giant Eagle I shop at in UA…

        • Anonymous says:

I was just on the target website & found a coupon for $1.00/1 oscar mayer bologna lunch meat. They are $1.00 @ Meijer thru 6/16. ( there are 2 links for the coupon so you could print up to 4 from 1 computer). Also there is a 2 day sale going on thru 6/16. I’m getting the 6pk dble roll of angel soft since it will be 1/2 off & i still have the .25/1 coupons. Have a great week!

          • Anonymous says:

I think I have like 5 packs of Bologna left over from the last huge sale…and my daughter eats lunch at her school 5 days per week, so it doesn’t go fast…great deal though!
And we’re sitting on like 200 rolls of Charmin Ultra Strong at the moment, so I am forbidden to purchase any more toilet paper for the time being. :)
I’m not even shopping at Giant Eagle this week…just a quick run into Kroger to get 6 Juicy Juices + 4 Lean Cuisines (plus some fruits and veggies), and a very brief trip into Meijer to get a couple other things.
Not very impressed with our local grocery stores this week. :(

        Great idea Roci!

      • SunnyHavens says:

Have you tried this yet?  The self-scan always beeps and the cashiers will not accept them where I live.

        • Anonymous says:

I haven’t.  I don’t have any OYNO right now.  Do the ones you have tried say manufacturer coupon?

          • SunnyHavens says:

The ones I had did read MQ, however I used them at Kroger to purchase the rest of my groceries.  I haven’t tried one yet.  I’ll certainly let everyone know if it does work though.

            • Anonymous says:

Thank you for being so helpful.

            • Anonymous says:

Went to Meijer today w/ 2 target store coupons. I was told they would not accept them by the cashier & then the line supervisor. When I explained they had a new coupon policy, I was told that yes they will accept manufacturer coupons from a competitor, but  not a competitors store coupon. I stood firm & explain the difference btwn the two. ( b/c I knew that precedent would be set ) They called a manager & accepted them. So by this logic catalina’s should not even be questioned. My thoughts … stand firm, they need to adhere to corporate policy.
FYI i used the $1.00/1 oscar mayer bologna. The 12 oz are 1.00 thru 6/16 = free. That was worth my time.

            • SunnyHavens says:

That’s great news!  I appreciate the information.  Hopefully it will work out for everyone this way.

For the Dannon Oikos 5.3 oz cup I never received the above coupons but I the ones I have are B1G1 so the deal is basically the same buy one at $1.00 get the other free so .50 cents a piece!!  :-)
