  3. You forgot to mention the Juicy Juice $5 off of 5. They had Fruit Punch and Apple available at Fred Meyers (kroger)  this week. They were on sale for $2.79, but with the buy 5, they were $1.79.
I went to Fred Meyer (Kroger) today and got a the “buy 5, get $5 off.” I used it on 3 Juicy Juice and a couple boxes of cereal. I went to the Juicy Juice website and printed out a coupon that was $1 off of 3. So I bought 3 at $1.79 each = $5.37 , then with the dollar off its $4.37 and at the register I got a $2 off your next visit to Fred Meyer (excluding alcohol, tabacco and pharmacy.) Very good deal if you ask me

I’ve been going back all week.  You’re right.  It is a great deal!

      Buy 3 for $.99 each
      3 x $1.99 = $5.97/3 – $1/3 MQ = pay $4.97/3 – $2 Catalina received = $2.97/3 = $.99 each wyb 3 (and two other Mega Event items)
      Buy 4 for $1.12 each
      4 x $1.99 = $7.96/4 – $1/3 MQ = pay $6.96 – $2.50 Catalina received = $4.46/4 = $1.12 each wyb 4 (and one other Mega Event item)
      Buy 5 for $1.29 each
      5 x $1.99 = $9.95 – $1/3 MQ = pay $8.95/5 – $2.50 Catalina received = $6.45/5 = $1.29 each wyb 5
**I picked up six to maximize savings. My first order consisted of three Juicy Juice and two other ME items. I used the $2 Catalina from that order to purchase the next three Juicy Juice and two other ME items and received another $2 Catalina after check-out.

      Sorry Kelley!

      • I’m getting nervous that the stores and the manufacturers are trying to phase   out us couponers, by making it harder and harder to get a great deal.  Only been doing this for about a year, but it has changed drastically for the worse since last year.  Any suggestions to keeping up with the changes?

When I noticed that you had to hunt at certain stores for great deals ( instead of them being advertised ) I started to look at the ads  for stores that I did not normally shop at. I have since been shopping at 2 or 3 grocery stores per week and making sure I stock up on the great deals. And I also check what people post here hoping to find out about the deals before I go.

Not just this week, but a few months now. Ugh.

I was wondering the same because usually my Kroger has Kellogg’s cereal for around $2.38 sometimes $1.99. At the top where it talks about the mega event it says that the savings are $1.00 per item so shouldn’t the cereal be around $1.38 or so not $1.88.  Either way it’s an okay deal considering I need more cereal, just a little confused on the actual price and I can’t see the weekly ad yet.

    For the mega event products

Maybe i just can’t figure it out, but it says that the final price is listed with discount, but it appears to only be after the coupon?

    • Sarah Yost says:

The price she lists after the item name already has the $1 discount from the megaevent. Make sure you match it against your own ad, though. The prices in my ad are at least $.20 higher per item!

      • Anonymous says:

Thank you! Now that I can see my ad, I see that the “initial price” is with the mega discount too. Luckily my ad matches KCL, sorry about yours being higher!

    • Yeah it is only after the coupon not with the extra $1.00 i agree with you on this one.
So i guess subtract $1 for each total and that is your price for the item
