  1. My walgreens had a few sally hansen nail polishes on clearance for 99 cents! So I got them for free. :)

The HD nail polish is mostly transparent with sparkle.  It’s far from a full-coverage color.  Don’t let appearance fool you.  I was disappointed but my daughter loves them.

Yeah I’m not a fan of polishes that need 2+ coats for opaque coverage.  I don’t have the time to sit around and let each coat dry!!! I like one coat (maybe 2) with a top coat and boom I’m done!

Exactly!  Top Speed and Quick Dry are my favorites.  Have you tried Sally Hansen’s quick dry top coat?  I was wondering if it’s any good.  If so, it would serve double-duty as a base coat to prevent staining and a top coat.

I pretty much only use Seche Vite top coat or the Sinful Colors top coat.  The Seche Vite is kinda pricey (I think maybe $6.99?), but lasts awhile and makes my nail polish dry very fast and it seems to not give me any indentations/imprints if I bump my nails into anything. The Sinful Colors one is a bit oily, but is only $1.99 and Walgreens usually has specials from time to time runnning them for .99!

Thanks for the info.  My daughter and I have over 30 nail polishes and the collection keeps growing with all these wonderful deals.  She’s impatient so quick dry polish really comes in handy.

  3. I didn’t have any on clearance at my Walgreens, but they did have some that were on sale for $1.99 and with the $1 coupon and 15% off for military Tuesdays, it ended up only being $.77 including tax.  Not too bad.

  4. I have seen Sally Hansen on clearance at CVS too, 75%. I picked up some today for $1.69-.55Q. The 1Q would have made it even better! My Walgreens will not accept internet coupons, so I rarely go there.

  5. Has anyone thought of a scenario with the overlapping deals on nail polish spend 30 get 10 and Sally Hansen products spend 15 get 5 ???
