  1. I don’t know how I missed this, but I just noticed that my ad has all Aquafresh BOGO 50%.  I have some CVS.com Qs for 1.00/1 any GSK purchase (no size restriction).  I think the travel size Aquafresh is 1.27, so two should be 1.91-2.00=.09MM.  Going to give it a try today.

  2. In addition to some of the deals in the ad, I was looking to use my CVS Q for $3/1 Nexxus Shampoo or Conditioner.  Since there wasn’t a size restriction, I was able to use it on the 3 oz. shampoo for $3.29 in the travel section, making it only 29 cents.

I had the same problem yesterday when buying Gillette Venus Razor B1G1 50% off  & using the B1G1  coupon  the cashier only deducted 6.00  on an earlier post a couponer said they called corporate office & corporate office said 11.99 should have been deducted.  I called  corporate office today at 1 888-607-4287 talked with Kim I explained ? & said coupon policy doesn’t address this.  She put me on hold & checked with someone & said 11.99 for 1st one should have been deducted.  I gave her my store # & transaction #. , said it takes a few days for transaction to get in their system.  She will call me back About Tues & I should get 12.00 back on Easy Bucks for buying 4 razors & turning in 2 B1G1 coupons. She said she would have district manager for that area cover with that store employees.  I’m going to find my receipt from where they did the same thing on mascaras a couple weeks ago.  i’m going to advise her again to add this in the coupon policy.

I just got around to cutting out my Extra Bucks from my P&G deal earlier this week and found that I had a Extracare coupon at the bottom of my reciept for $5.00 off the Schick Hydro Power Selects. Adding this coupon to the deal listed above makes for a $3.00 MM!!! I sure hope there are some razors left when I go back tomorrow!!!

If not, get a raincheck! CVS honors CVS coupons beyond their expiration as long as the raincheck is dated prior to expiration of the coupon. Great deal for you!

I have a question, I went to CVS today and forgot my card. I gave them my phone number, but since i just received my card a few weeks ago I was not in the system. The cashier was very nice and just scanned the store card for me. I was not thinking, but I did not recieve any ECB from my transaction. I should of received almost $20 from my purchase, which is a lot of money to me. I was wondering if I took my receipt back with my CVS card and repurchase everything if I would still receive all my ECB? I am new to shopping at CVS too so don’t know if they would honor it or not.

    • Anonymous says:

I recommend taking your receipt back and asking them to force the ECB for you. Just explain the situation and hopefully the manager understands and forces the ECB for you. If not, then you could always return all the products and repurchase them with your CVS Card. Good luck and I hope it all works out!

  6. Today I bought 2 Colgate Extra Clean Medium Full Head 341 Toothbrush Value Packs, 3 ct $2.99 and no EBs were triggered. The cashier said it was only the 360′s that were included in the EB deal. I showed them the ad that said any Colgate manual multipack and the cashier said you had to go by the photo which showed 360′s. Did anyone do this deal and get it to work?

    • Anonymous says:

I did get it work, as the flyer stated 2-4 piece multi packs were included.  Although the EB did not print out for me at first, the cashier was really sweet when I showed her the ad and how it showed multipacks, .  She printed out the EB’s for me.

    • Anonymous says:

Sorry that the ECB didn’t print for you! If you take your receipt back, hopefully the manager will force the ECB for you. If not, corporate can issue them. Good luck!

I submitted a post in the Brag Lounge (first time!) because I was able to save $115!
    I spent $36.19 and received $16 ecb.
    You ladies rock!

Question on rebate- I was double checking my upc codes (before I send it in) I noticed two of  my pantene leave in conditioners have the same upc codes- do you think this will be an issue?

    • Anonymous says:

Just write it in twice or write “x2″ by it and calculate the price. They will see from your receipt that you bought it twice. Also, it doesn’t matter how many of each item you bought as long as you hit $50. You could have bought 20 of the same product and still qualify.

    • Anonymous says:

Elizarae is correct! You won’t have any issues with receiving your rebate :)

So today the Magic Coupon Machine printed out $5.00 off Schick Hydo Power Select. I used this and  $4.00/1 Schick Hydro Power Select or Hydro 3 or 5 Blade Razor from SS 6/10 (exp 7/22. Paid tax and recieved my $3.00 Extra bucks..WOHOO FOR ME!!!! :0)

  13. In  Tallahassee the CVS Ultra Gain Dish Detergent is 99 cents.

  14. I have the PG  BrandSaver in my lap. My coupon is 50 cents off Gain Dishwashing liquid,
    not $1.00

    • Anonymous says:

Coupons vary by region and it’s basically the same thing.  KCL listed $1/2, which equals $0.50/1, which is what you have (and what I have too).  So, you can still do the same deal, you would just have to use 1 coupon for each Gain instead of 1 coupon for 2.

I could use some help with an issue I had at CVS involving customer service from a few employees. Im not sure about where exactly to post something like this so hopefully this is an ok spot. I went in last night and the cashier rang everything up and scan what I thought was all myQ’s and totaled it out. The total was higher than I thought it should be so I asked her to check and she said ” I already scanned them all and in order to check I would have to redo the whole thing.”  I knew that wasnt exactly true and either way that shouldnt be a big deal. The problem I had was that I had a $3 and a $10 ECB and was only planning on using the $3 one but because of her mistake I had to find something to fill in the gap otherwise i would be lose about $4 in ECB’s. So I got home checked me reciept and it turns out she didnt take off a high value Q. She did take the Q from me but she just missed it. I thought no big deal I will call the store in the morning. I wasnt even mad about it even though the cashier was so rude. I called the store and the STORE MANAGER said  “well we cant verify your “story” because they send out the Q’s every morning.” Now Im leaving out a lot of things about this hellish experience. This is already long and Im sorry for that but I really feel this is the only place any one would understand my issue. But one thing that is hard to convey in text form is her tone and attitude. She made faces, cut me off, laughed at me, and said things like “I know what you want, you want money.” and “you need to let me finish.” Im honestly afraid to go back to this store. Im shaking as Im typing this. Its only about 7 minute from where I live. Im just wondering If any one has made it through this lengthy complaint, please give me some advice as to what I should do. Im a little afraid to call corporate because this IS a store manager that treated me like this. KCL, has something like this ever happened to you? Im very polite and I try very hard to make things go smoothly and easily for the whole store. I understand that this is important. I didnt think I did anything wrong it was a mistake that the cashier made.  Again sorry for the BOOK. Ive just been in tears over this. And thank you for “listening”

    • Anonymous says:

I’m so sorry for your bad experience. It’s a shame that some people act so foolish and rude when it comes to couponing. Stores get reimbursed for all the valid coupons you use, so I don’t understand why some cashiers and managers have such a bad attitude with coupons. Unfortunately, I have been in your situation before. There are a couple of things that you can do. One thing is to contact the District Manager. You can find the information for him/her when you first walk into the store, there is  usually a picture and a phone number of the Store Manager, District Manager, and Regional Manager. It’s not a bad idea to call and inform the District Manager of how you were treated, he/she might even be able to issue you a money card for the amount of your coupon that wasn’t scanned. Or, you can always call corporate. The workers at corporate are always very friendly and can issue a Extra Bucks in replace of your coupon that wasn’t scanned. Good luck and I hope you don’t ever have to experience this again!

      • Anonymous says:

Thank you for that. I decided to call corporate after all. I could barely make it through the story with out breaking down. They said they would notify the district manager. So its out of my hands unfortunetly not off my mind. Just want to say thank you for the support and helping my family save. :)

    • Anonymous says:

OMG, you poor thing! I am the same way and hate confrontation.  I cry when I get angry which makes me look weak.  I understand. However, I certainly would call corporate and complain.  I had a similar experience at my local store with a manager saying I was commiting coupon fraud getting such good deals (to other workers and customers. I only heard them because I came back in the store to return my buggy.) Anyhow, I most certainly did call and guess who is UUUBER nice to me now? Yup, you stand up for yourself. Otherwise you will be afraid to go get all the good deals from now on! Good luck!

      • Anonymous says:

This is the first time its been this bad. I dont consider myself weak but like i said I didnt put in a lot of what was said to me. It was also right in front of the store and it was busy . My family has one income and $5 (the coupon that was missed) is a lot for me. I thought no big deal easy fix but nope. I did call corporate after all mainly bevause I dont want this to happen to anyone else. I really appriciate the support so thank you :)

    • I’m sorry to hear about your bad experience.  I know exactly how you feel.  This one time at CVS, the cashier, which was also the manager missed a couple of high value coupons (worth about $8).  I didn’t notice until I looked at my receipt so I went back and patiently waited in line.  I nicely told him that he missed a couple of my coupons.  He gave me a very irritated look and tossed the coupons back at me in a very rude way.  I was so mad so I just walked out the store.  I didn’t want to go couponing at all after that.  It took me a while to get over it and I didn’t return to that store for a very long time.  What I do now is I watch them very closely when they scan the coupon and look at the screen to make sure the discount is taken off.  Just because it beeps doesn’t mean it worked.  I still get mad when I think about it now.  Just keep in mind that you will have good days and also bad days when you go couponing.  Hope you feel better soon!

I would like to some how roll my 10 ECB’s that I received last week.  I would like to buy some Tide (I have 2 $2 off coupons to use, 3 $1/1 Tide), I also need some Charmin TP and Paper Towels.  The Bounty Paper towels seem really expensive for a 2 pack, which is $3.99.  Are there any deals that fellow couponers are doing, that might help me out with some ideas.  I could really just go for the Tide and TP but don’t know how to work it out.  I have 2 $4/20 CVS coupons that I got in a email and from the machine.  Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

There are many different versions of the ad this week, so this deal can be done in many different ways, depending on what your local ad includes. Assuming your local ad is the same as the type ups, here’s some scenarios:

Buy (5) Tide = $29.70 (will trigger the $10 Extra Bucks)
      -$4/$20
      - (2) $2/1 Tide
      - (3) $1/1 Tide
      Subtotal before Tax: $18.70
      Use $10 Extra Bucks
Pay $8.70, Receive $10.00 Extra Bucks

      OR

      Buy (2) Charmin and (2) Tide = $29.86
      -$4/$20
      -(2) $2 Tide
      -(1) $1/2 Charmin
      Subtotal before Tax: $20.86
      Use $10 Extra Bucks
Pay $10.86, Receive $10.00 Extra Bucks

      • Ty says:

Thanks so much for the scenarios.  I spent last night tying to figure out the best deals and how to use all the coupons that I had, but most importantly, how to roll my $10 ECB’s.  I really appreciate all the help!! : )

Yesterday I decided to do the PG deal too, as I love Tide and we needed toilet paper. Here is what I did (although this varies by CVS, mine gives overage on coupons and some don’t):

          3 Tide ($5.94 each) – Used 3 $1/1
          2 Charmin ($8.99 each)- Used 1 $1/2
Also used $1.50 off $5 Charmin or Bounty purchase (from MCM)
2 Travel Size deodorants ($1.27 each) – Used $2/2 CVS coupon
1 Physicians Formula face cream (marked down to $4.99) – Used $15/1 CVS coupon

My total after coupons was about $21(b/c of the overage from the Physician’s Formula), I used $7 ECB I had from before, paid about $14 OOP and received $10 ECB! I just got lucky in that I never got the Physician’s Formula coupon until last week and they were all out so I waited to use it this week instead!

Where did you get the $2.00 off 1! That is a great high value coupon!

  19. I’m kind of excited about the heinz being $1.00. Am I the only one? At grocery stores it’s usually $2.50 for it, so $1.00 is super cheap, not to mention I have a $.50 off coupon. Making it $.50 for each, getting 10 for the price of 2, yes please!

I went to my local CVS yesterday and they did not have any 3ct. toothbrushes for 2.99 except for some on clearance and tag says excludes clearance.  I am going to try a different CVS later in the week.

    • Anonymous says:

I went to my local CVS and tried to purchase the toothbrush deal with the 2.99 brushes and the EB didn’t print. I ask the guy at the register and he was clueless so he went and found mananger who said those weren’t included in the sale because they are less than you’d get back. I showed him where the ad says 2-4 count but he wouldn’t let me do it. Instead I just returned the toothbrushes and got my coupons back. Maybe I’ll try a different store today.

      • Anonymous says:

Sorry to hear this! Other readers have mentioned that their Extra Bucks did not print for that deal too, but according to the Ad the should. Sorry the manager didn’t for the ECB for you.

I’e got a money maker scenario on the Spend $30 get $10 ECB in PG products!!!
( It requires quite a few coupons)

*Remember the ad is varying by region*

My PG ad included Tide, Pantene, Nice’N Easy, etc.

    1) Tide $5.94
    2) Pantene 12.6 FL oz on sale 3 for $10 or $3.33 ea.
    3) Nice’N Easy Hair dye (Does not include Foam or Perfect 10) $5.99 ea.

    Sub Total: $30.58

    Coupons:
$5 off $15 (Printed last night on my receipt)
    2) $2 off $5.99 hair dye or highlight (One printed last night and one this afternoon)
    3) $2 off 1 Nice’ N Easy PG 5/13
$2 off 2 Pantene (Printed last week from the Coupon Center)
    $3 off 2 Pantene from PG 5/13
    $1 off 1 Tide

    After coupons: $9.58
(You could make the total lower by having 3 of the $2 off 5.99 but I didn’t want to wait another day to print it and risk not getting my preferred hair color)

I also had $5 in ECB which made my total $6.04 and got $10 ECB back !

I was disappointed with this week until I figured this lil’ gem out. :)

I discovered an awesome deal at the CVS’s here in the Detroit area.  In our CVS circular, it is advertised 1 gallon of milk PLUS 1 gallon of Stroh’s ice cream for $5.98 (Stroh’s is our local chain and the normal price just for the ice cream is $5.99)….the ad stated you got a $2 ECB for purchasing those two items together.  So now the price is $3.98….RIGHT next to the ad is a $1.00 coupon for those two items together.  Now we are at $2.98….and last week the Magic Coupon Machine gave me a $1.00 off milk coupon….so I paid $1.98 for a gallon of milk and a gallon of top brand ice cream!  That’s half the normal price of just milk, let alone including the ice cream!  WHOOO HOOOO!

  25. Maybe I missed it in your post but here Pantene is included in the spend 30.00 deal. It is priced 3/10.00 and use 3 of 3.00/2 MQ from PG May so if you buy 6 Pantene and use 3 MQ then you pay 11.00 or 1.83 each

    • Anonymous says:

The ad used for the type ups did not have the Pantene included in the Spend $30, Receive $10 ECB deal. There are several different variations of the ad this week. Sounds like you will be getting a great deal on shampoo!

  30. got an INSANE deal today at one of my 2 favorite CVS’s here in Manchester, NH..

    1 CLEAR shampoo  4.99
    1 Revlon power        10.49
    1 venus olay refill      17.79
    1 venus olay razor    13.29
    1 Fekkia styl cream   9.29

    total before coupons was $55.85

    used $10 off $30 gillette
             $4 off $20 CVS
            BIGI venus($12.99)
            $ 2 off venus refill
            $10 Fekkia CRT
            $ 2 off any revlon
            $ 2 off any clear shampoo/conditioner
$ 3 off any beauty item CRT
$ 2 off any clear shampoo CRT
so total after those was 7.86, handed him the 30% off coupon and it beeped, he said it could only take off the 7.86 making it all FREE!!!!!! then i got back a $4 ECB for revlon and a $2 ECB for the venus refill

so they paid me $6 to buy all that good stuff……………I LOVE CVS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  31. i am confused. this is my first time using coupons. I plan on going to cvs tomorrow, can i use the coupon 1.50  off from pg on 6/3 and buy 4 soaps in one transaction. I want to buy 6 tides all together, and since it states limit 4, i thought i would use those 4 coupons, and 2 other coupons for 1.00 off tide i got in may from p&g. i just want to make sure i can do this before i go so i can get the 10 in extra bucks. any help would be great thanks

    • Yes or you can probably use your 4 1.50 coupons and then go back and get two more and use 1.50 off coupons. The best thing about CVS is your card keeps a running total so you don’t have to make the purchase in one transaction. You just have to complete the deal before then end of the week (or end of the deal).

    • Anonymous says:

The $1.50/1 coupon is for the Tide Stain Release, not for the laundry detergent.  KCL added the coupon in case the stain release was included in the deal (it’s not).  The only detergent coupon in PG 5/13 is the $1/1 (which KCL uses in her scenario).  HTH in case you run into an issue in the store.

  32. Amy Shepard says:

there is an awesome deal at cvs with the gillette razors & colgate… buy 4 razors (mach3 they are b1g1 50% off) and 2 colgate max and use b1g1 coupon P&G, 2 2.00 off coupons P&G, 10 off 30 gillette from the cvs machine, 2 .75 off colgate toothpaste SS and I ended up paying 1.96 before taxes (4.80 after) and got back 3.00 in extrabucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  33. Hello CVS Shoppers!

I had a question that came about when I went to CVS this morning and was hoping
people could chime in on it.

I went to purchase (2) papers this morning from CVS, didn’t do any coupons
deals this trip.  I go to this CVS often because it’s not so busy and my
husband works in the pharmacy, so I know everyone pretty well.  I went up
to the cashier to purchase the papers and I noticed she was crumpling up some
coupons and throwing them away.  Before I could ask, she told me very
grudgingly that “people keep leaving coupons on products and that is
    fraud!”

Very confused (since I have both left coupons on products
and taken some that people have left and used them) I asked her how this was
fraud and she couldn’t give me any straight answer except that it “just
    was”.

Anyone ever had this experience?  I didn’t argue about it and just paid and
said goodbye.  Looking forward to any
input in case I’m not educated on this particular issue.

    Thanks!

    •  I am not sure how it could be fraud if it is one couponer paying it forward and leaving extra coupons on the shelf for another person to use. I see it all the time and have left coupons myself. I have even had a nice women ahead of me in line look at what I was purchasing and check her coupon envelope to see if she had any coupons I could use. Unless I am misunderstanding the situation, I don’ see it as being a problem.

    • A grocery store here (in Amarillo, Texas) actually tapes coupons from the paper to products so i don’t think it is fraud. The coupons aren’t meant for a specific person.

    • Anonymous says:

Maybe she’s talking about how the coupons could be “void if transferred”?  I never really understood that rule.  One CVS near me regularly tapes coupons to their products (and many of these coupons are really good ones that aren’t mainstream).  They WANT us to use them.

    • dayna lloyd says:

I have never heard of anything like that.  My guess is she just didn’t want people using extra coupons!?  I know I have seen coupons left behind and I have also left coupons if I don’t plan on using them.  That is just weird.

    • Anonymous says:

fraud??? Sounds more like she doesn’t appreciate coupons being left on the shelf…I have seen coupons left before (but I would assume that every night when facing the shelves and what not that some stores may remove them as to “clean up/de-clutter” the shelf). That’s my guess anyways, but I really don’t see sharing coupons as fraud on any level. If that were true we wouldn’t be able to buy coupons online (even though you are paying for the work of cutting/shipping) you are still moving coupons from one person to another.

      • Anonymous says:

Actually, I read the CIC website yesterday and it states that buying coupons is fraud…  Haven’t done it because I don’t buy anything in large quantities, but you might want to check their website ;)  I read a few interesting things there :)

    • Anonymous says:

I’m not sure if its fraud or not. My local Walgreens actually tapes the Sunday manufacture and store coupons to products here.

    • Anonymous says:

I don’t think it’s fraud because it’s not stated on the CIC website.  At least, they haven’t stated the specific.  I always leave my TQ that are about to expire and I’m sure I won’t use on the shelf next to the item, and have found MQs and TQs on the shelves as well…  I don’t leave my MQs because I send them to the troops…  :-/

  34. OMG! I just had the worst experience of my life at the North Attleboro, MA CVS Store (# 938). I carefully cut out all my coupons, worked over the deal to make sure everything was correct. I grabbed my items and brought them to the register. The cashier argued with me about every coupon and informed me that I couldn’t use 4 coupons on the 4 Venus disposable razors I was purchasing because I was only paying for 2 of them. She refused to budge even though I explained CVS’s coupon policy, and that coupons are a form of currency that CVS is completely reimbursed for, so I told her to cancel the order, give me back my coupons and that I would go to another CVS. She didn’t give me all my coupons so I went back to get the missing coupons only to hear her talking about me behind my back to the photo cashier. I said “I’m sorry, but are you talking about me?” She looked me right in the eye and said “No, I was just asking him if the transaction was right.” She lied right to my face!! When I asked for a manager she said she was it right now and when I asked for her name she refused to give me her last name. I am furious right now! She was wrong about the coupon policy, she was wrong to talk about me behind my back, and she was wrong to lie to me. I am going to speak to the manager and corporate on Monday, but I am so upset!

    • Anonymous says:

So sorry to hear that you had this experience. You were right to get the cashier’s name and should call corporate about the incident. I had a similar incident at Rite Aid and I haven’t been back since. Good luck and I hope you get some resolution.

    • Anonymous says:

Sorry about your bad experience! I hope you can get it all resolved and have a better experience next time!

      •  Thanks! This is the only CVS I have ever had an issue with, so I will just graciously patronize the coupon-friendly CVS’s I usually go to! :)

        • Anonymous says:

Jacqueline, I had similar problems at my local CVS ever since I moved.  Call corporate, send them an email and, if necessary, write on their fb page.  I did all these, and that’s how the regional manager called me to apologize and solve my problem.  Needless to say, everyone knows me by name at that store and know that I won’t let them step on me when I know I’m right and I’m not doing anything illegal.  They are still not coupon friendly, and give me trouble, but because there’s no more CVS stores in my town, I give them the pleasure to see me at least once a week.  Hope you get the problem solve and keep saving your household some money with your coupons!!!  ;)

    • Kathryn Webb says:

My husband works for CVS.  When I had trouble with a cashier not following their own coupon policy, and I came home and vented about it, he said “did you buy something from that cashier?”
      “no, I returned the items”
“oh, if you buy something, even something small like gum or candy, if you’ve got the 1-800 number to call, the receipt is matched to the cashier, so you can give feedback for that cashier.”
“oh I don’t want to give bad feedback, I just want him to follow the policy”
“If no one calls, we don’t know what’s wrong. We want to fix the problems.”
Now that I know, I’ll keep it in mind.  Hope your next shopping trip is better!

I agree with you and I contact corporate or the regional manager directly (I have his cell phone number due to a previous incident) and I tell him what happened and he seems to always try to do the wrong right with me.  If we don’t let corporate or the regional manager (sometimes store managers are wrong-happened in my case), like your husband said, they don’t know and won’t be able to do anything about it and the problem will remain the same…  Not only with CVS but with any store where we are not treated right.  Now, I didn’t know about the purchase of something small to link the receipt with the cashier…  In my case, the regional manager knows who I’m talking about even by description only…  I guess that’s something for corporate…  But I wouldn’t want anybody losing their job for a problem.  I would just want the problem solved…  Hmmm…  Thanks for the hint either way!  ;)

Whoa – I got like 20 coupons from the MCM today.  I am used to having to scan 3 times at least, but today I scanned 4 times, and each time it had at least 4 or 5 coupons.
Can’t wait for KCL to do some matchups with all these MCM coupons!!  (hint hint)  :)

  37. On June 23rd at their coupon center when you scan your card you get a $2 off any toothpaste and their colgate is on sale for $2.49 and there is a $0.50 coupon in the paper which makes it free and you get $1.50 in extra care bucks.

I just bought 4 Gillette Venus Disposable Razors ( Ocean ) and used 2 BOGO, 1 (one) $10 off any $30 Gillette Purchase EB and a $5 off Beauty Club Reward EB . I tried to use 1 (one) $2 off mq for  Venus and the Manager told me that I would exceed the amount of coupons for one transaction. I told him that the policy stated 2 coupons for BOGO are allowed and he said “yes I am taking the CVS coupon, what are you trying to get me into trouble?” and tossed it back.  I never had a problem with the other associates, but I am not going to squabble over it. just wondering if anyone else uses more than one manufacture coupon on a bogo. (last week I got 4 lash blast for a dollar because I used bogo and 1$off coupon)Anyway, I still scored big!  $1.35 for the 4 packs.I saved about $50 bucks.

    • Anonymous says:

The 2 managers that work Sundays at my store are really great with coupons and always take a BOGO man coupon+ another man coupon. I did the Venus deal this morning with my 2 BOGO man+2 $2/1man +$10/$30 cvs gillete coupon, but I had other things in that transaction (so I guess it gave me overage in a way). The CVS policy does state (under multiple coupons section) that the # of 3rd party coupons may not exceed the # of items in that transaction. BUT it also says that BOGO situations 2 coupons may be used.

      • Anonymous says:

The policy does say that they accept 2 coupons in a BOGO transaction, but it doesn’t say 2 manufactures coupons so it sounds like your manager is reading it as 1 man and 1 cvs coupon for a BOGO situation.

I bought toothbrushes and a Sunday paper. That should have been enough since I didn’t have any coupons for those items. Oh well. Thank you.

        • Anonymous says:

thats a bumber…sorry you had a bad experience. Sometimes its worth it to drive an extra few min to a different store (if you have another close enough) that is more coupon friendly

    • Anonymous says:

I had this same problem and it was SO frustrating because the cashier said I couldn’t use the BOGO Q in addition to a $2/1 Q when I was buying 2 Venus razors.  I additionally used the CVS $10/$30 but the cashier was having problems ringing in all the coupons so I just said forget it…  Even without the $2/1 I suppose we still got good deals but gosh..I feel a little cheated because I was using the coupons the right way and should have been able to use all of them.

      • Anonymous says:

You can only use 1 $2 Q because when you use 2 BOGO and the $2 you are actually going to zero the transaction and CVS does not give overage.

    • Julia Caylor says:

i got screwed on the venus razors. my CVS refused to mark the b1g1 off the full price razor so i would be paying the 5.89 and free. I even pulled out the coupon policy and they refused to even look at it. I am pretty annoyed with CVS right now with is too bad because I liked this one much better than walgreens.

  39. Dipsy Gupta says:

Is it necessary to do more transactions with CVS before you start receiving coupons in   your mail ? Somehow I never seem to get any .

    • Anonymous says:

CVS coupons vary per customer. Unfortunately, there is no way to “better your chances” of getting more coupons :(

  40. Anonymous says:

Hmmm….our CVS weekly ad here is a little different.  For instance the General Mills cereal…it’s 3 for $10, get a $3ECB back.  Also there is no VO5 on sale.  Crest Pro Health rinse is $4.99 and get a $3ECB, and some of the ECB deals differ from the ad preview I’ve seen online.  It seems, not all the CVS ads are the same, I have a feeling it depends on what coupons are available.  Like we have Tom’s of Maine on sale for $3.19, get a $1ECB back.  The coupon in the paper is $2.50/1.

It’s going to be hard to know what’s actually on sale.  I’m always 1-2 weeks ahead, the ad in my paper today threw me off.  I was looking at it and I’m like, I don’t remember seeing this in the previews.

    • Anonymous says:

We must have the same add.  I always check on cvs.com to look at my add for the upcoming week.  Most of the time the deals are the same, but sometimes they are different.  Today they seem to be very different.  Got to love regional ads!!!

    • Anonymous says:

Yes, there are at least 4 different variations of the ad this week, so be sure to check your local ad before purchase :)

      • Anonymous says:

Mine is some weird combination of what is posted here, and something else.  Mine is only good for 4 days, and then it says on Thursday-Saturday I will get 20% my entire purchase with coupon from MCM.

        • Anonymous says:

I have that same ad. It’s confusing when they run a 4 days only deal with another promotion on top of it.

        • Anonymous says:

I have a similar one to yours apparently, but mine is not Thursday-Saturday the 20% on the purchase with coupon from MCM.  That Q is for Thursday only, then Friday it’s $5 off a $15 purchase and Saturday it’s $2 off any toothpaste.  I just wonder what’s gonna happen with the prices the rest of the days being so the ad sale is for 4 days only…  Does anybody know?  :-o

      • Anonymous says:

It threw me off a little, but it happens in the world of couponing right?  At least it was a 7 day ad.  I’m leaving for CVS in a bit.  I’m usually there bright and early.  I’ve been so tired since I started working, but I’ll always coupon.

      • I’m kinda thinkin’ these stores are trying to throw us off because we’re coming in there cleaning them out, without spending too much money. But review the ads carefully and as KCL states, her website is to be “USED AS A GUIDE” and we all may have to work just a tiny bit more in sealing the deals.

  41. If I did the Schick Hydro 5 deal last week and got the extra bucks…will I still get the extrabucks this week? Thank you!

Yep, they have two different event codes :)

      • Anita Gama says:

Sometime ago CVS mailed me a $2 off coupon on the Schick Hydro Silk Razor. With the $4 off manufacturer’s couon, the purchase is turned into a money maker! The CVS coupon is good through the end of June.

    • went for the bogo free venus deal, but the coupon machine printed off a $5 off Schick Power!!! and i had my binder so i had the $4 manf :) making it $8.99-$5-$4=$.99!!! and had a $3 ECB :) super good deal thanks to the magic coupon machine! :)

  42. Thomas Forrester says:

Ultra Gain Dish Liquid, 9 oz $0.88
Use $1.00/2 Gain Dishwashing Liquid, excludes trial/travel sizes, limit 1 coupon per purchase, limit of 4 like coupons in same shopping trip from PG 5/13 (exp 6/30)
Final Price: $0.09 each when you buy 2
i am a little confused on this, or im blind. each soap is 0.88. the coupon $1.00/2. so you would have to buy 2 dish sops. that would total to $1.76. with the coupon your total would be $0.38 for each…how did you get $0.09?

    • Marta Lopez says:

It all depends what kind of senerio u are doing. My add has them for .99 so it will be more for me :) check out the above comments she explains why it came out to .09

    • Anonymous says:

The price includes the 33% savings from the Extra Bucks that you will receive.

  43. Karen Chan says:

i see that u have centrum PRONUTRIENTS as B1G1 50%, but i don’t see that on the ad, is it included too?

    • Anonymous says:

There are several variations of the ad this week, and many of the sales and pricing are different. The ad that I used had All Centrum & Caltrate B1G1 50% Off, which includes Centrum ProNutrients.

    • I just searched my CVS ad for that product and it is not advertised here in SJersey. So many regional differences is crazy. Even the front page of the ad is different.

  44. Rosanne says:

In my ad, for Western North Carolina, on Thursday the 22nd we’ll get a coupon from the Magic Coupon Machine for $5 off a $15 purchase. I’m planning to buy $15 worth of candy that day and I’ll get $5.00 off plus $5.00 back in ECB. So, $5 for $15 worth of candy!

If I am doing the Gillette deal should I use the $10.00 off 30 purchase first then the buy one refill get razor free then $2.00 off one refill? I have a feeling the order of the coupons would matter in this situation.
I noticed that some people who did the gillette deal only had to pay tax but when I did the calculations for it I came to 5.99 for the razor and refill.

    • Anonymous says:

Hi ,last week my aunt bought this deal ,but we put first buy one get one free  before 10 off cvs coupon and they don`t take it …so we did it again ( the cashier helped us ,she was very nice) and we gave the 10 off cvs coupon first and then some other coupons and for last buy one get one free and it was good purchase. So 10 off cvs coupon first then $2.oo and buy one get one free for last.

  49. question about thecoupon insert in the sunday paper this week is there any?

  50. Mary Ellen Pachucki says:

Still confused about the Gain…if it’s 88 cents a piece and the coupon is $1/2, wouldn’t that make it $.76 for both (or $.39 for one?) not 9 cents

    • Anonymous says:

The 33% savings from the Extra Bucks that you will earn is taken into account, making it $0.09

      • Anonymous says:

The CVS flier I received in the paper advertizes a four day sale, June 17-20. Are the prices and EB offers valid through the 23rd? Also, for some reason, my inserts do not have many of the coupons you list. Some are either simply not there, or the products are the same, but the values vary. For example, the Gain coupons from P&G 5/13 are $0.50/1 instead of $1.00/2 as you listed. Same discount, I know….but it limits how I can use them on certain deals…very frustrating. Any idea why this is?

  51. What happens when it’s a Buy one get one 50% off and you use a BOGO Q?
Do you just get the 50% off item free or is it better than that?
    Thanks

    • Anonymous says:

It depends on your cashier.  Some take off the 50% item and some take the full price item.

    • dayna lloyd says:

Like Katie77 pointed out, it’s depens on the cashier.  I have had 2 different cashiers at the same store take off the full price item one time on a deal and the other take of the 50% item on another deal.

I need help understanding the Gillette Venus Disposable Razors

    • Anonymous says:

Starting tomorrow, all Gillette Disposables (including Venus) are Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off. When you match that sale with a B1G1 coupon and a $2/1 coupon, you can pick up some low-cost razors. The amount taken off for the B1G1 coupon will depend on your cashier. Some will take off the full price, others will only do the 50% off price.

      • Marta Lopez says:

Can i really use both coupons?

        • Anonymous says:

Yes!  One coupon is to get a pack free, and the other is $2 off of the one you are paying for.

my total was 15 and change.Even when i showed him the policy he said the B1G1 applies to both items. And i couldnt use another coupon. :(

I did this too. Love free!

        • jason says:

          you guys were lucky!

i had planned on getting 6 mach3 and 6 venus, with the b1g1 and $2/1 coupons for each.  after hearing about the various experiences from here, i went to ask the cashier first to make sure both coupons were going to go through.  she told me she’d have to ring them up first to see if they’d go through.  she scanned all the b1g1 free coupons first, taking only $6 off for the free razors.  then she just looked at the $2 and said she couldn’t do them.  frustrated, i cancelled the transaction and went to another cvs.

second cvs i only took 2 packs up and wanted to just try that out.  the cashier understood what i was trying to do, one free, and the other one $2 off, so she scanned both coupons.  (free one being the 50% off one again) the register beeped, but she had the manager put them through.  came out to $9 and change.  didn’t have the $10/$30 gilette coupon, so just used some expiring ecb’s to pay for it.

didn’t want to bother trying to go to the third cvs in the area, as i was already frustrated from going to 2 other albertsons and also being denied b1g1 with b1g1 coupon razors at one store, and the other one being out.

so what was hoping to be a great day for razors, turned out to be a bust for me!  i did get the 37 cent shave gel though.  :/

$4 for a two pack of paper towels is a joke!

You’re not kidding about that! It’s a shame that people pay that price not knowing they are being retailed.

      • Anonymous says:

Keep in mind, it is those people and those high profit purchases that allow the manufacturers and the stores to continue to allow us couponers get such great deals.

Im a little confused. you listed the gain dish liquid as .88 but in  the ad it says .99 . what is the real price of the dish washing liquid.

  55. Brad Fakery says:

there is a $1.50/2 M&Ms in my RP for the Mars deal. plus you can use the $3/$10 CVS brand purchase from the coupon machine last week for the bandage deal. My ad also said there will be a 20% off entire purchase printing from the coupon machine from Thursday-Saturday. Sounds like it could make for some good deals!

  56. Anonymous says:

The P&G portion of my ad doesn’t include the shampoos.  The hair color is included.  There must be variations in the different regions, unless it will be unadvertised inclusions in my area. Everyone check your sales ads and shelf tags so that you’re not disappointed at the register.

    • Anonymous says:

Thank you for pointing this out! Please check your local ad especially this week because many of the pricing and sales are regional :)

    • Karen Renae says:

Mine does not include the bounce, but it does include the big box pampers diapers.  That is where my money is going this week.  I figure the 5 almost free dishwashing detergents can make up the difference.  $15 for a big box of pampers and 5 dishwashing detergents seems like a good deal!

  57. Anonymous says:

If I bought $30 of certain P&G products and got $10 ECB this week, will I be able to do this again next week using the same CVS card? It says limit one, but I wasn’t sure if it that would reset since there ads are weekly.

  58. Maybe its too early in the morning, but wouldn’t the tide deal actually be only 4.40 (with the 1.50 coupon) instead of 2.98?

    • Anonymous says:

Yes, I am getting 4.44 as the lowest price on the tide, but I think she is adding in the actual savings of 33% as she states above…?

    • Anonymous says:

Final prices reflect the 33% savings after Extra Bucks

      • Gina says:

KCL–those savings are not accurate in many cases unless you spend the EXACT amount to get the Extra Bucks. It is a little bit confusing/misleading. (same thing happened with the Nivea for Men deal last week). I know you are not being misleading on purpose, but those final prices are inaccurate. Maybe just leave the final price as “unknown” or “varies” as you sometimes do, unless you detail a specific deal scenario? Thanks for all your matchups! :)

        • Anonymous says:

maybe just check your store for a more accurate price?? if you live elsewhere prices will vary

        • Carla Bartello says:

I have to agree with you.  It is extremely misleading!  Because you get the $10 in ECB.  It also depends on which combination of products you get.

  59. how do you use the site that has the pepsi coupons? i dont see a print button anywhere, even after i signed up.
