Extreme Couponing Tip: Set Up a Coupon Swap Box!
Swap Box 101: Coupon swap boxes are community baskets that allow you to donate coupons you don’t need and take the ones you do. They are typically found near the entrances of stores, libraries, community centers, churches, preschools and daycare centers.
Take Charge: If you’d like to take advantage of this great exchange but there isn’t a swap box near you, set one up! It’s easy to do: get permission from the location, buy an inexpensive basket or bin and label it “Coupon Swap Box.” Include simple rules (i.e. take only what you need, do not donate printables or expired coupons, etc). To maintain the box, periodically take out expired coupons.
