need help ! i m having trouble with my coupon printer ; it showed me the message to install the printer i installed and it showed intalled successfully and then when i tried to print it took me again back to install page. it is repeatedly showing the message install the prinnter when i have already installed it. i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling ; checked the add on tried everything i know. i have not been able to print for last two weeks. Please help any suggestions thanks

    • Anonymous says:

Try restarting your computer and using a different browser (Firefox or Internet Explorer, etc). If that doesn’t work, then try the help button on the coupon printer and I hope that can help you resolve your issue. Good luck!

      • I had the same problem too last week. I was using chrome browser. I am using explorer now and it works perfectly. I was very frustrated until i figured it out. Hope this works for you.

  3. Question: Does anyone know if there is a limit on how many CVS coupons you can use. For example, if I have several  lets say 4, 2/1 shampoo coupons, can I use them all  and still stack them all? I don’t see why not, but wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing anything. Thanks!

If you use scrubbing bubbles, have a 30% off and have savingstar attached to your CVS card, I have a deal idea.
Buy 5 Scrubbing Bubbles $4.49 EA regular price, use 2 3/11 $2/2 Scrubbing Bubbles  expires 6/30

    Spend $11.72, receive $5.00 for spending $20 on savingstar=$6.72 ($1.34 EA)
This deal ends tomorrow, Savingstar is ending.

So today I received a $15.00 off Physician’s Formula facial care purchase. Can I use this on cosmetics, or is this only for the moisturizer and correction creams?

    • Dawn Harris says:

It’s not for cosmetics. But the physicians formula is BOGO free this week and part of the gas card deal. So great deal no matter what you get with it.

    • Anonymous says:

Dawn is correct! Or if you wanted to save it for next week, Physicians Formula Skincare will be on sale for $7.99 and part of a gas deal too

      • Anonymous says:

I went to CVS today and just asked the cashier if the coupon would work on cosmetics. She said I think so let’s try (love my CVS!) and it did work on the cosmetics too. The only thing she said was that the total HAD to be at least $15.00, but could be multiple items :o)

      • Anonymous says:

Thanks for the heads up!  I just got the $15 physicians formula q and was trying to decide when to use it…now I’m going to wait!

  6. I stopped in today to do the Mitchum for my hubby and found Wet n Wild nail polish on sale for .69 cents.  I had the $1.00 off any WnW coupons (which they price adjusted down) to make them free. I have three daughters so free nail polish is always awesome:o)

Has anyone else noticed that even though almost all ECB offers say “Excludes Clearance Items”, that the clearance items still produce the ECB?
I bought 2 Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief toothpastes on clearance for $4.86 each.  The deal right now is buy 1 at $4.99 and get $4 ECBs.  I wanted to see if it would produce the ECB on the clearance toothpastes and even though there was no tag on the clearance toothpaste, I got $8 ECBs!  Not only that, but I bought 2 Aussie Shine Sprays on clearance for $2.49 each, used $1/2 Aussie products, and bought Tresemme Dry Shampoo on clearance for $2.94, used 3 $2 off Shampoo/Conditioner/Hair Treatment from MCM and all of this showed tracking toward the $30 gas card deal even though it says “Excludes Clearance Items”.
Anyone know if this is all the time or if I just got lucky?

    • Anonymous says:

I did this deal and all the toothpaste was suppose to be on clearance for 4.86 and the employee was saying that i couldn’t do the deal and if it printed he was going to have to take the ecb. I found one kind that scaned for 4.99 lucky. So watch out because my store was saying that all the ecb deal exclude clearance and if it does print that they are going to keep the ecb. I tried to say if it doesn’t say it exlcudes clearance then they couldn’t take it and he basic told me i don’t  have to shop there.

      • Anonymous says:

Well, I’m glad I just did the deal instead of asking about it.  I got the $4 ECB on the clearance toothpaste…not sure what would have happened if the cashier noticed though.

Also FYI, the Organix, Revlon and Gas Card deal limit is greater than 1 and it’s still tracking with clearance items.  I did the Organix deal for the 2nd time today with shampoos that were on clearance for $3.49 and got another $5 ECB and it’s also tracking toward a 3rd ECB.  I also did the Gas Card deal for the first time, but I used clearance Stayfree items and clearance Tresemme hair care to get there and sure enough the ECB for the Gas Card printed AND it’s tracking toward a 2nd one.  There are ECB deals on Revlon, Loreal and Maybelline and there’s a lot on clearance, so CHEAP makeup after ECBs!

    • Anonymous says:

This is hit or miss.  I just tried buying $10 L’Oreal clearance makeup and the ECB did not print, nor is it tracking.

  8. Jennifer Wiggins says:

Do you have to reach your $30 for the baby deal all in one transaction?  I did two transactions and didn’t get the $10 EB.

    • Anonymous says:

You can do it in separate transactions, and the card will track your purchase.
What are the items you bought? Maybe there is an item that is not included in the deal?

    • Anonymous says:

Separate transactions can be done. Check the bottom of your receipt and figure out which item didn’t track. Make sure that item was included in the deal, and if so then take your receipt back to your local CVS and explain. They should force the Extra Bucks if it truly didn’t track properly. Good luck!

  9. I have a question about the coupons that print from the MCM like $4 off $20 beauty purchase.  Are shampoos considered a beauty purchase?

    • Anonymous says:

Yap, it is under hair care category of beauty purchase.

      • Awesome.  Unfortunately my $4 off $20 coupon from the MCM is expired, but my CVS lets me use ECBs that are expired, so I’m hoping the same for this one!  It will give me a great deal on the head & shoulders combined with manufacturer coupons, MCM coupons and the $10 gas card deal!!!!!

        • Dawn Harris says:

We will have a bogo free head & shoulders in the next p&g. I know some people get coupons early, I can get the P&G on Wednesdays so that might be good to know for some.

  10. B.Baker says:

Okay so at my store in FL there is a deal going on with the Garnier Hair color. They are on sale for $4.99 ea spend $15 get $5 ECB. Here’s what I’m thinking but I’m not sure if it will work. I want to use a few of the $2 off 5.99 + from last week…
Buy 4 hair colors at 4.99 = 19.96use 3 $2 off 5.99 + (because the 1 extra hair color will make my hair color total be high enough the use the coupons???)use 4 $2 off man qsuse 2 $1 off Garnier printing this week= 3.96 get $5 ECB back
    Help?

    • Anonymous says:

Yep – this is a July monthly deal with a limit of 4, which does not start til July 1st. Buying 3 would be enough for the Extra Bucks to print.

      Buy 3 = $14.97
      Use (3) $2/1 Q’s
Use (3) $1.00/1 Garnier Hair Care or Hair Color Purchase CVS Coupon (printing everyday this week from the MCM)
Pay $5.97, Receive $5.00 Extra bucks

      or

      Buy 3 = $14.97

      Use (3) $2/1 Q’s

Use (2) $2.00/1 Haircolor of $5.99 or higher CVS Q

Pay $4.97, Receive $5.00 Extra bucks

      • B.Baker says:

        Awesome! Thanks so much!

I didn’t even think about only buying 3 and just using two of the 2 off 5.99. I wonder why the sign is on the shelf already at my store. I hope the ECB will still print.

        • Anonymous says:

I just checked my local store and the deal is going on this week, not  starting July 1. Thanks for telling me about it!

          • B.Baker says:

It worked! My second $2 off $5.99 beeped but she didn’t say anything and just entered it in manually. I also used 2 $1 off Garnier CRT that are printing this week. So $2.97 and get $5 back money maker!!! @TheKrazyCouponLady:disqus

      • Anonymous says:

YMMV with using the CVS coupon for $2 off Haircolor $5.99+.  I tried a similar deal, but the cashier (and manager) wouldn’t let me use the CRT because they stated that a single haircolor should be $5.99 or higher to use the coupon and the color would not be eligible for the $4.99 haircolor.

        • Pethukani R says:

Sauve family size shampoo/conditioners are priced 1.99 at my CVS,using $2 off shampoo, conditioner CRT you can get them for free

        • I would explain to the cashier that it means $5.99 total, just like a $3.00 off $10.00 cosmetics Q doesn’t mean that you have to get a single cosmetics item that cost $10+.

        • Anonymous says:

In my understanding of the coupon, you should buy a single haircolor amounting to $5.99+.

          • Anonymous says:

The coupon is for $2.00 Any Haircolor or Highlight Purchase of $5.99 or More, so as long as the total hair color purchase is greater than $5.99, the coupon can be used.

  11. Annie Nguyen says:

How come people are able to use the Dr.pepper coupons at CVS when it says “redeem at publix?”

    • Anonymous says:

They don’t all say that.  There isn’t a Publix within 1000 miles of me, so mine don’t have any store restrictions.  I’m in CA.

  12. Anonymous says:

Question- I bought tide coupons on ebay and received them today. I bought 10 and 6 of them the expiration date was completely cut off and 2 had partial expiration dates only 1 had a complete expiration date. They were all from the same p&g from awhile back expire 6/30 I wanted to use them this coming weekend at cvs when the tide are on sale. Will this be a problem?

    • Anonymous says:

Most stores will not accept a coupon with the expiration date cut off. If I were you, I would contact the seller on ebay and try to return them and get reimbursed. Good luck!

  13. Carolina Miranda says:

I noticed no one has asked, so I think it’s a no, but can I buy 6 good ‘n natural bars and use 3 BOGO mfqs and a $1/3 mfq?  I’m not sure if the new coupon policy affects this

    • Anonymous says:

Yep – you should be able to use all those coupons! Some readers have told us that their store doesn’t accept a B1G1 Q along with a $1/1 Q, so if that’s the case then the scenario won’t work, but most stores will allow it.

  14. Anonymous says:

For the Spend $30, get $10 ECB on baby products, some regions got $2.50/1 Pull-ups in the 6/17 inserts.  You can also stack this with the $2/1 Pull-Ups printable coupon on the CVS website (one per customer).  I got each pack for $3.50 each!!!  Here’s my breakdown:

    Buy (3) Huggies Pull-Ups $10 each
Use (3) $2.50/1 Pull-Ups Training Pants, Jumbo Pack or larger from SS 6/17 (exp 7/14)
STACK with $2/1 Pull-Ups Training Pants from CVS website
Pay $20.50 OOP, receive $10 ECB
    Final Price: $3.50 per pack!

Be sure to check out the end caps for batteries! I needed some AA’s so I asked the clerk because I didn’t see the sign for $4 batteries. She ended up showing me some Energizer batteries on closeout. They are Pink for Breast Cancer with a razor on top. 16 batteries usually 12.99 are marked down to $3.07 (razor is a pink schick). It was a great trip to teach a friend how to coupon. I even gave her a few q’s to get her started and excited to realize that buying a paper was worth it. Hope you guys can find this deal. Oh, I didn’t get these but the 8 pk was marked to $2.25. I saved 89% and my friend’s first trip was 65% savings. Her husband was amazed at free Bayer, cheap razors, and closeout price batteries.

  16. Jennifer Wiggins says:

Can you use the printable $1.50/1 Pampers Q for the diaper deal?

5 Tresemme (climate control is ringing up on clearance at $2.24)
    5 Crest Pro Health
    2 Gillette Venus Razor
    2 Gillette Venus Refill
    4 Shave Gell
    2 CoverGirl Lash Blast
Out of Pocket $12.73, got back 18.00 in ECB=$5.17 MM

I did not use any ECB to pay for these items.  Coupons used, $1/1 Shave Cream, BOGO Refill WYB Shaver, $2.00 off Refill, $10/$30 Gillette purchase, $2 off Shampoo CVS Coupon and $2/2 Tresemme from coupon machine, $2/1 Crest Pro Health (from Dentists office) and some other toothpaste coupon I used right away, but I think it said $2 Crest? and $3/$10 Cosmetics CVS Coupon.  I used some of the coupons that printed out when I got there so can’t remember if that’s all I used…  VERY excited.  Tresemme is a favorite and a good deal with or without the Gas card deal.

I used to throw my coupons away from the CVS machine, but my store allows expired usage within reason.

Tresemme Climate Control on clearance for $2.24, use $2/1 shampoo from CRT=.24.

The register spit out 30% off coupons so I’m going back for more.  Sorry that I didn’t write down the coupons I used that I received that day.  I have 3 cards, one for myself, hubby and one for my college son who still lives with us.  This was done in 3 transactions.

    • Anonymous says:

If you add up the actual transactions, my total was $102.21, but my receipts say I saved $112.89.  Total coupons used $87.48.  I think after looking at one of the receipts that I must have had a 30% off coupon as well because one receipt shows $7.50 and that its a CVS Coupon…  that last transaction wouldn’t take the % off because I handed it last and I was already too close to 0 but maybe it did take?

The ECB’s I got, $10 on Crest and $8 in Gillette

I also wanted to add that there’s a $1/1 Covergirl coupon that can be used with the BOGO in the P&G inserts.

      • Anonymous says:

Thanks for sharing about your great money-making trip! They 30% should have worked, not all the items you purchased were on sale. Great job!

      • Anonymous says:

I bought the Tresseme climate control on Saturday night. Geez, I wish I would of waited but I’ll go back and see if it’s clearanced here. My first time trying it and it seems to hold better than the #5 super hold which I normally buy. Thanks for posting!!

  18. Sally Jewell says:

Today I did the organix deal and I was pleasantly surprised. I thought I was getting the bodywash for $7.79 and Shampoo $7.49 but the shampoo rung up as clearance for $3.74. However the $5 eb did print!!! Here’s my breakdown….

    Organix Bodywash $7.79

    Organix Shampoo $3.74

    Total 11.53
    -$2.00 off Organix Bodywash crt
    -$2.00 off any Shampoo crt
    -$5.00 eb

    Adjusted total: $2.53

Not to shabby if I do say so myself. Also, it doesn’t say I reach the offer limit on my receipt. Anyone know if they increased the limit like they sometimes do?

  19. I’m a bit new to this, so I apologize if I’m repeating a question that is often answered!  I was surprised after I bought the paper at the Dollar Tree that there were certain coupons I was expecting to see in SS (for Smart Source, correct?) that weren’t.  Most specifically $2/2 Pantene Pro-V that was listed in the Newspaper portion of printing coupons here on KCL.  Is this just due to the location of where we live?

    • Anonymous says:

Coupons are regional, so some coupons you may have that we don’t list, and others you won’t have the we list. Sounds like you got a great Pantene coupon!

    • You may also want to check different newspapers if you have more than one in your area.  For instance, I live in the Chicago suburbs so I have the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Sun-Times.  I’ve found that the Tribune has the better coupons, so I get 4 of those.  There are also a slew of local suburban papers, but those tend have the same coupons as the Sun-Times.

  20. Anonymous says:

Question – Will this coupon stack work?
    Garnier Fructis shampoo 3.99
    (1) CVS MCM $1.00 off any garnier hair care
    (1) CVS MCM $2.00 off any shampoo, conditioner/ styling aid
    (1) garnier MQ $1.00/1 =
    FREE

Also can you stack the CVS MCM $3/10 cosmetics purchase w/ the CVS MCM $1.00 off covergirl ?

You can’t stack 2 MCM coupons :(  For the Garnier deal above, you would only be able to use 1 of the MCM coupons and the Garnier MQ, would still be only $0.99, which isn’t bad!  For the Covergirl deal, the item you use the $1 off Covergirl MCM coupon for has to be in addition to the $10 cosmetics you are using the $3 off $10 for.  Hope that helps.

      • Anonymous says:

Thank you, and you’re right .99 isn’t bad, although free would of been better :o)   I also thought of using the $2.00 CVS MCMQ for (2)  Tres Somme 3oz travel size hair care items @ .99 each.

I was thinking of doing the same :)

I did the spend 30.00 on baby products deal and was happy to score some nightime pull-ups for my 2 year old. Wish I could have lucked up on some clearanced pull-ups but there are MANY KCLs in my area. Still happy with my 10 ECB. I was in a hurry and forgot to scan my card at the MCM. Maybe this could be why I had coupons attached to my receipt – ones I can remember off hand are 30% off total purchase, 1.50 off any deoderant.

I bought 4 Cover Girl Lash Blast mascaras, used 2 B1G1 MC (took $7.50 off of each) and used $3 off $10 MCM AND $5 off $15 Cover Girl purchase MCM, making them $0.99 each.  I also used a $2 EB from last week making them $0.49 each for me.  Yay! :)

I have a question… for the spend 30 get a 10 dollar gas card.. the limit for 2 liter soda is 5 so is that per purchase and i could do it in 6 serperate purchases or do only 5 bottles go towards the 30 amount no matter how much i buy

    • Anonymous says:

When you hit 5, it says so on your receipt – so the cashier should stop you from getting more.
But…it does not list it at the bottom of your receipt, so it might not track towards the $30 for $10 gas card deal.  I suggest buying 5, putting them in your car, and going in to get another one.  If it still rings up for $1, and the at the bottom of your receipt it now shows $6 towards your $30, you should be good to go.

I got some great coupons from the MCM this morning when I went to buy my papers! Here is what I got…

Save $3 on your next $10 Cosmetics purchase
    $3 off $10 CoverGirl purchase
$1 off any Garnier hair care or hair color
$2 off shampoo, conditioner, or styling aid (excludes Pro Salon)
$3 off any Nexxus producrs (excludes trial size)
$1.50 off any Secret Clinical deodorant

Anyone got any ideas on the best way to use them?

    • Anonymous says:

The $3/$10 will go great with either the Maybelline, Revlon, or Sally Hansen Extra Bucks deal going on this week.

The Covergirl coupon will go great this week because Covergirl eye is B1G150% off and you can also use the B1G1 Covergirl Lashblast coupon along with that deal. Or, if you save the coupon for next week, all Covergirl cosmetics are B1G150% off and part of a Gas Card deal (but the B1G1 Covergirl Manufacturer coupon expired on 6/30).

The Garnier coupon can be paired with this week’s Garnier Nutrisse deal and a Manufacturer coupon to allow you to grab this for only $1.99.

If you save the $2/2 Shampoo coupon for next week, Pantene will be on sale an part of a Gas Card deal allowing you to score so cheap shampoo when paired with a Manufacturer coupon.

No upcoming sales to pair with the Nexxus coupon, but the $1.50/1 Secret Clinical coupon can be used on the travel size which can help you grab it for low cost. Good luck!

Will the Pantene be the same price next week as this week?  Was just thinking if I get another $2 coupon this week from the MCM, they could be free using (2) $2/1 CVS coupons and $3/2 mfg coupon.  If they are the same price it would be worth waiting until next week.

        • Anonymous says:

The MCM coupon is $2/2, not $2/1. Pantene will be 2/$6.50 next week :)

            • Mine was too :).  I got in and planned to purchase the two Pantene on clearance 50% off and use my $2/2 manufacturer coupon along with my $2/1 shampoo/conditional of any kind, thus getting two for free and then realized I had already used them.  Sad I didn’t get them for free, but at least glad I got them for a reasonably good price earlier in the week :)

Just got back from my CVS.  For my $10 Gas Card, I did 5x 2 liters of Pepsi (2 Pepsi Max, 3 Diet Dr Pepper) for $1 each, 5 boxes of Kleenex w/ lotion 70 count for .99 each, 2 boxes of Oreos (1 Double Stuff, 1 Original) and 1 box of Cheez-Its for 3/$4, 2 bags of M&Ms (Pretzel and Peanut) for 2/$6, and 4 bags of Cheetos for 2/$5.  Used $1/2 Nabisco printable, $1.50/2 M&Ms mq, and $4 off $20 CVS.  Also did Bayer Advanced at $3, used the $3 mq and the $3 CVS mcm q – so got the Bayer for free and an extra $3 off my total.  Did the Mitchum and used the $1 mq and the $1 CVS mcm q (so free).  Total out of pocket was like $21.50, and I got my $10 gas card, so I essentially paid $11.50 for all that stuff.  Technically I paid with a $10 EB (thanks Nature Made) and a $4.79 EB, and oop was like $6.  :)

I had a $15 physicians formula coupon, they were bogo free at my CVS. Got 2 for $19.99 and bought my kids 5 boxes of cocoa and fruity pebbles at $2 each Got a $5/$20 from magic coupon machine this morning
After using $5/$20, $15 p.f. and 5 .55/1 cereal my total with tax was $7.58. I used 2 egift cards I got from Viggle for watching t.v. So paid $0 OOP and got a $10 gas card back

I was so excited to get it last week, and hours after my wife had told me she needed more of the purple eye wrinkle stuff…I rushed right back out and used the coupon.
And you don’t have to cover up your love for Cocoa Pebbles here…but if it makes you feel better, of course it was for the kids. ;)

Of course I added a few other items, cottonelle tp for $8.49 and two Kleenex boxes to reach $30, used ECB and got my $10 gift card.

  26. OK, maybe a stupid question, but…How do I make a shopping list with the deals you post on the website? TIA.

    • Anonymous says:

Personally, I copy and paste either into a speadsheet or a word doc.  KCL has been looking into adding a shopping list feature like some of the other (lesser!) blogs have.

    • Karen Renae says:

I do the same as ohio dad.  I simply open up microsoft word and copy and paste the deals to make my list.  Doesn’t take much time at all.

      • Anonymous says:

I’m either going to start putting that Word doc or Excel spreadsheet on my phone instead of printing it, or just copying and pasting into an email, so that I can pull it up on my phone.  It is nice having a printed list, but I can just use my phone and save the paper/toner.
My buddy sometimes puts his list on his tablet instead of printing it, or putting it on his phone.  Nice big screen, can just check off the items as we go.  Kind of annoying though to carry his iPad through the store, which is why I haven’t used my tablet yet.

        • Kimmie says:

I use Evernote for this exact purpose, and it’s perfect! I have the app on my laptop and on my phone, and they sync with each other. I just copy/paste scenarios from KCL straight into Evernote so I always have my shopping lists with me. Evernote also has great search / drag & drop functionality.

    Hi everyone,
    I am new at couponing…  I have a question.
I need to get a lot of Head and Shoulder shampoo. This buy $30 and get $10 gas card deal… Is the $30 total calculated before the discount?

I mean if I were to buy only Head and Shoulder shampoo (it is BOGO50off). let’s say if the shampoo is $4 each, do I have to buy 10 of them or 8 shampoos to get a $10 gas card?  Thank you!

    • Marta Lopez says:

$30 before coupons.then use the coupons to bring your total down.and recieve a $10 gas card :)

    • Anonymous says:

Coupons will not affect receiving the gas card if $30 is hit, but if an item is B1G1 50% off, it is calculated after that deal. If shampoo is $4 each, then to hit the $30 you would need to buy 10 of them. Hope that helps!

Can someone explain how the Covergirl deal works. How does the final price end up being $2.20 each?

    • Anonymous says:

If my math is OK there seems to be an error, right?  Cause if I understood it right the deal is:  $8.79+4.40 (buy 1 get 1 50% off).  Then you use the BOGO Q, which deducts $7.50 as a max.  Your subtotal there is $5.69 for the 2 of them, making $2.84 ea, not $2.20…  Granted, last time they had this deal, we also used a $1 off MQ…  I don’t know if it’s still available or if it already expired…  ;)

KCL didn’t comment to my post, but did change the link to print the newer current CVS policy.  The KCL typed out version is still the old policy, though.  I am sure it takes a little while to make the changes. Thanks KCL!  I hope you will update your readers on changes.

    • Anonymous says:

Thanks for sharing about this change. We are working on updating our Coupon Policy type up. :)

    • Anonymous says:

Where did you find the updated coupon policy?  I googled it and found the same one I have (printed from their website), which is the same one KCL has on that link…  I’m confused…

      • Anonymous says:

She updated it to the correct one earlier today after I posted.  See her note below.

        • Anonymous says:

I checked and her link is updated but her page isn’t… And I checked again CVS’ website and the policy is the old one… I’m still confused… How come CVS doesn’t have the updated one? :-s

          • Anonymous says:

If you go to CVS site under help and contact us there are FAQS.  The policy is located under one of the FAQs.  That is the link she now has posted.  As she states here on this post, she hash’t yet updated her typed out version since she just changed the link yesterday.
Really the main difference I see in it is the old policy says they don’t accept competitor coupons and the new policy says they don’t accept manufacturer’s coupons with another retailer’s logo on it (which is a biggie, because everyone thinks that if it says manufacturer and doesn’t say “redeemable ONLY at”  then it is OK to use anywhere, but this definitely does not allow that.)

            • Anonymous says:

I know…  It’s a problem but I hope that there are not too many coupons with logos anymore…  ;)  Thanks for all the help :D

            • I don’t even click to print any coupon that states “available at” whatever store because I have always felt that I would be given a hard time redeeming it.

I feel the same…  I only did it once with the Almay Qs and was soooo scared of using them at CVS but I confronted my fear (lol) and used them and they didn’t tell me anything…  But I try not to do it because I don’t want to waste ink or paper when I know it says Walmart, for example, because I don’t shop at Walmart regularly…  I don’t like it there… This Almay Q said Walgreens so worst case scenario I could’ve used it there…  ;)

  37. Brigi says:

I’m sorry I may sound stupid for asking this question but when it is stated that you can use 4 like coupons in the same shooping trip does it mean that you can use it for the same pruduct or for just the trip

  38. Sorry to ask another question, but does anyone know if I can buy a Venus Cartridge and use both a 2.00 off /1 Cartridge coupon as well as the Buy a Cartridge get a razor free q? I am thinking no, but I wasn’t sure….

    • Dawn Harris says:

Yes, you should be able to. The BOGO coupon is for the razor, so you should be able to use the $2 off cartridge.

      • Anonymous says:

I tried that type of thing several weeks ago and they would not see it that way. I called corporate and they also said their policy does not allow you to use a $/1 plus a BOGO, even though I tried to explain that one coupon applies to one item and one applies to the other. It didn’t help that I said that  lot of you couponers are allowed to do it at your CVS.

        • Anonymous says:

I’m amazed because I did it a few weeks ago and even the manager of the store that I went to was the one who checked me out and she didn’t say no… And I bought Venus and Mach 3, so I did the deal twice in the same transaction and with the same manager…And I even used the MQ for the free Olay Body Wash…  I did it last week at another CVS and no problem either…  What I did notice is that at corporate there’s certain people who don’t know their policy so you might want to call again.  I called once and the agent told me that there’s not such thing as combining BOGO MQ with their BOGO promotions…  I told her that it’s in the policy and she denied it.  Then I asked her in regards of the ECB deals that are in the ad that require an “X” purchase and get “Y” ECB and when it says, for example, ALL CoverGirl and on the picture you only have the mascara (to say a product) and she said only the one in the picture.  So, I asked her to please verify the information she’s giving me with somebody else and the phone call got disconnected.  I called again and the 2 agents I spoke to (one in regards of ECB deals and the other one in regards of BOGO promotions) told me what I knew…  And when it says ALL is ALL despite of the wording saying on the products below and showing only the mascara.  The agent told me that’s impossible to put the picture of all the CoverGirl products because they are too many so the picture is a reference and to go by the wording (had this problem at the store before and that’s why I called to confirm what I knew)…  HTH… ;)

          • It’s weird because both coupons say 1 coupon per purchase. So technically you’re using 2 coupons for 1 purchase, no? Just don’t want to be doing anything wrong. I did go last night and used both qs and it worked fine. Plus I used 2.00 Off Venus Cartridge I got from the MCM machine last week. Another surprise was that I not only got the $ 4  ECB for this week but also the $2.ECB for last week for buying the cartridge since it was Saturday. All and all, it made for a fantastic deal!

            • Anonymous says:

No, because the BOGO is for the item you are getting free, which is the razor in your case (that’s one purchase), and the dollars off Q is for the cartridge (that’s the other purchase).  Remember the terminology of purchase=item and transaction=the whole thing…  So you are not doing anything wrong.  ;)  I feel the same and check ten times before doing a transaction and read here the experiences with that deal…  I don’t like doing things the wrong way.  And I’m happy that you actually gave it a shot and that you were able to get both deals!!!!!  :D  Yay!!!!

    • Anonymous says:

I was just looking over the coupon policy on CVS’s site and saw that it says,  Coupons cannot be applied to a “free” item.  So would this apply to b1g1 coupons and $$off, or does it just apply to free items that CVS are offering b1g1. I’m thinking by the way it is worded it’s not allowed in either scenario so we really can’t use both coupons.

      • Anonymous says:

You sure should be able to use both, as stated above, one is for the cartridge which you are in fact purchasing (and getting $2 off), the other is stating when you buy that cartridge (that you just got $$off) you’ll get a razor free and you’re not applying any coupon towards the free razor, just the purchased cartridge.  This policy is stating if you had a coupon for buy cartridge get razor free, you couldn’t use a coupon for the razor (since it’s already free)…hth’s

    • Marta Lopez says:

Depends on your store.I tried it this week and they wouldnt allow the / coupon.Because they said the B1G1 applys to both items.

      • Anonymous says:

Not really.  It’s actually a mistake that the cashiers are doing.  I spoke to the regional manager in regards of this (last week) and he told me that he’s been having problems with the employees understanding the coupon policy and apologized for any inconvenience.  I did the deal and the store manager is the one who checked me out and she saw it and she accepted all the coupons…  So, when you encounter a similar situation, explain to them how it’s supposed to be (BOGO applies to free item and $$ off applies to first item) and if they give you trouble you can also call corporate and they can help you as well… HTH ;)

Some stores have Coppertone beach blankets with a hangtag that says “Buy two sunscreens, get the blanket free.” The blanket is originally $9.99. Percentage off coupons work for it so if you have a 20% or 30% coupon, it’ll take $2 or $3 off the Coppertone scenario when you get all three :)

On pg. 16, which is the last pg. of the ad, there is a $10 extrabucks rewards when you spend $30 on the products on that pg. It also states Available in New Jersey stores only. Each of these rewards offers has a limit of 2 per household.

My ad looks a little different than this one.  Most of the deals are the same, but the cover is different and I know the Xtra Laundry detergent is only $1.47 here, not $1.49…that’s the only difference I’ve noticed so far and it’s not a big one.  I’m in So Cal.

      • I live in SJersey and my ad has Xtra Laundry detergent for $1.49 w/card. Also pg. 5 has a spec. $10. extrabucks reward when you spend $30. on products on that pg. and the last pg. has another $10. extrabucks reward when you spend $30. on products on that pg. Each deal has a limit of 2 per household but there is a catch as both pgs. state AVAILABLE IN NEW JERSEY STORES ONLY.

I received an email with a 30% off coupon for CVS. It is not valid for sale items. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to use that coupon on?

    • Anonymous says:

I’m using it on Venus refills and I’ll be using the buy one Venus refill get one Venus razor free coupon and the $2/1 Venus razor or refill coupon.  The 30% will come off of the cartridges and you’ll get $4 EB for the razor!
Also, I always send those coupons to my card. I’ve noticed that sometimes they work on sale items that way.

    • Felicia Rodriguez says:

Hmmm well if ECB’s dont count as a “sale item” then you could stack them in that way. If anyone knows the answer to that I would love to know!

      • Sally Jewell says:

The 30% off coupon works on items that are regular price (with or without a extrabuck reward attached). the coupon excludes sale, clearance or bogo/bogo50% items. Here’s how I used my coupon on saturday (before the new ad started)..

        1 Revlon Topcoat Nailpolish $6.39
        1 Almay Concealer $12.79
        1 Goody Headbands 2ct. $3.89
        1 Goody Pony-Pouf $6.89
        1 OFF! Clip on $9.99
        2 L’Oreal Haircolor $9.79 each ($19.58 for both)

        Subtotal = $59.53

        Coupons Used:
        -$3.00 off $10.00 Hair Accessories CVS-cpn
        -$2.00 off $5.99 Haircolor CVS-cpn
        -$2.00 off $5.99 Haircolor CVS-cpn
        -$4.00 off 2 L’Oreal Haircolor – MQ
        -$2.00 off OFF! – MQ
        -$19.00 in Exta Bucks
        -$15.46 off 30% off CVS-cpn

        Subtotal = $12.07 + 2.18 = $14.25

Extrabucks printed on receipt = $4.00 (Almay), $2.00 (Off!), $5.00
        (L’Oreal), $4.00 (Revlon ; Only needed 6.02 more to reach the $10) = $15

Plus I almost earned another $5 eb from beauty club.

Does the 30% off affect whether or not you qualify for an ECB? For example, if I need to spend $10 to get an ECB, do I actually need to spend $14+ in order to get the ECB or just $10?

          • Sally Jewell says:

As long as price before *any coupons* has been reached, the eb will print. Another cool thing is the 98% rule.. as long as you come within 98% of the amount needed, your eb will print. So for example instead of $10, you can $9.80. HTHs!

Thanks so much!  I was able to get 2 Organix Body Lotions ($8.29 each…yikes! But I didn’t need any more hair stuff) and some Revlon makeup/nail polish.  I used $2 off Organix, $3 off $10 Cosmetics, $1/1 Revlon face product and $1/1 Revlon nail product, plus 30 % off ($9.11)…paid $13.81 and got my $5 Organix ECB and a $4 Revlon ECB.  Thanks for your help!

I’ve noticed its been pretty slow at the drugstores lately especially CVS compared to last year at this time when I first started, but I was able to be a smart shopper the past two times I had to run and get something I needed. I bought a bunch of clearance makeup and used up ECB’s and then last week on the hottest day of summer so far my friend and I wanted pool floats so I got $5 off my order. (you get $5 for every $50 you spend on beauty products, used to print out at the red machine but I guess its load to card now? – anyone know?)

so i ended up paying $12 for 2 pool floats and a bag of chex mix, i think thats pretty good!

Great job! The $5 Extra Bucks from Beauty products can either be printed from your online account at cvs.com or from the “Magic Coupon Machine”. It takes two days for qualifying purchasing to be accounted for in your beauty bucks total.

      • Anonymous says:

hmm then i wonder what the $5 that came off was for..

        • sully says:

sometimes when you print them at home or get it from the coupon machine and you dont use them they will print in your receipt but you can only use one do.

I agree.  When I started couponing last year the deals were awesome.  Now I hardly ever see a good deal.  I was out almost every day getting great scores.  I hardly shop now.  :(

      • Dawn Harris says:

Mine always print out at the machine but I don’t need them to because everytime I go to checkout they ask if I want to use them. It shows up for the cashier even though I printed them. Same for the 30% off coupon

Even if you didn’t send it to your card from the account or email?  I’ve always had to send them to the card.  Last week I forgot about a 30% off Q I was sent by email and they didn’t tell me anything at the checkout moment…  They always ask me when they see I have a coupon…  And I remembered about my Q on my way home.  I checked my email and I sent it to my card.  Next time I shopped, they asked me if I wanted to use it and the end…  Lol…  :-P

I just wanted to let everyone know since I haven’t seen a post per KCL…CVS has apparently updated their policy.  The link KCL has posted on this site is no longer valid for you to print or view it.  For those that keep saying CVS should take coupons that say Manufacturer’s Coupon but have another stores logo or say “Redeemable at…”, this issue is specifically addressed in their newer policy.  It says CVS will not accept manufacturer’s coupons with another retailer’s logo on it.  My store has been enforcing this for several months and I keep seeing posts by others questioning this.  Thought you all may want to know so there are no surprises at the register.

  51. I found great deals this week at CVS.  Huggies and CVS brand diapers were dirt cheap along with wipes, baby wash and other clearance marked items all around the store. I found out the CVS brand items that were already 50% off, the register took an additional 50% the lowest price.  It was an unbelievable shopping and saving experience.

It’s not always easy to score diapers for a low cost. I’m glad that you were able to get such a great deal!
