I was able to score some great freebies, plus a moneymaker on Physicians Formula Face Cream this week (I held on to a CVS coupon from a couple of weeks ago from the CVS magic coupon machine)! I always keep coupons even if I can’t use them immediately. I didn’t receive any Bayer coupons and I wasn’t able to find the Fuji waterproof cameras that would have been free. Oh well, such is the life of a couponer!

I did I nice haul today at cvs. Less than $47, with $95 saved and $27 extra bucks for next time.
How do I submit a picture?

I’m just learning to extreme coupon and am a little confused about getting something free. My questions is if you buy, for example the example given above: ” Bought 2 Reach Total Care Floss, 30 yards $2.99 (This was done in 2 transactions, 1 in each transaction)Buy 1, Receive $2.00 Register RewardUse two $1.00/1 Reach Floss, excludes trial size, from shelf display (exp 9/30)Pay $1.99, Receive $2.00 Register RewardPaid: Nothing”
I understand you get one free, but aren’t you still paying the $2.99? Just wondering if  I’m missing something or not quite understanding the process. Thanks for any help and advice on this.

    • Edith Chaves says:

okay so for example like the floss is $2.99 and $2 register rewards, and you have a $1 manufacturer coupon….. so your total would be $1.99 ($2.99 -$1.00) and u recieve $2 register rewards on your reiciept making it technically free because you only spent $1.99 (before tax) and your getting back $2 in register rewards that you can use on anything for your next purchase but i think if you use it to buy the same product again i dont think it will print the reward again-not sure .

And with those $2 register rewards you can buy another tooth floss by using a second $1 off manufacturer coupon, so $2.99- $1.00 (man.Q) -2.00 register reward= free BUT Walgreens counts Register rewards as manufacturer coupons and you cant use 2 manufacturer coupons towards 1 product so you would have to throw in a second item to be able to use the register rewards.

      hope that helps!!

    • Edith Chaves says:

if your just starting to coupon i would suggest u start at CVS, walgreens are almost always problematic, and i feel like CVS has better customer service and the Extra buck deals are really good and they dont count Extra bucks as manufacturer coupons so you would be able to use it on anything (for example if the floss deal was at CVS you could by a second toothfloss with the rewards and man. Q without having to throw in a second item and another reward would print out on your reciept (if the limit of rewards is 2).

Read my below comment first haha i didnt realize this would post on the top of it

i got the Physician formula coupon too yay!! :) first time i got it

  5. Anna Buliga says:

tried getting the Fantastic with Scrubbing bubbles @Target, but they would not accept the target coupon. Not sure why, they said it wasn’t really a Scrubbing Bubble product

    •  It says scrubbing bubbles right on it, how can it not be????????? Target did that a few weeks ago with the Oxyclean stain stick to me, called customer service and asked when I got home. Went to a different target and it scanned just fine. But I know it did not scan at the first Target. Weird?

      • Anonymous says:

i also called customer service  for CVS,the cashier scanned a coupon that i knew i could use and she denied it so,i asked her to rescan it and it worked fine.they are so quick to shove the coupon back at you when it doesn’t scan
cvs said they would send out an email concerning this!
(note: it wasn’t a coupon for the oxiclean)
        GOD BLESS!

I want some vinegar.  Walmart was out of the regular so I’m hoping to get it at Target.  I intend to make pickles.

ughhhh my Wags has been out of the Suave Shampoos for two weeks now. Boo!

  8. Anonymous says:

It seems like your weekly results are so much smaller than when I first started reading your blog.  I know there are deals to be had, but there sure aren’t as many as there used to be and not quite as good either.  JMO

It is true….I started noticing earlier this year things were definitely slowing down. Every week I used to get loads of stuff….now just a few things here and there. But we couponers must trudge on and find the best deals where we can.

    • Anonymous says:

I think there are still good deals and more varied deals, not just toothpaste. I also have a huge stockpile so don’t buy as much!

  9. Laura Daluz says:

My Walgreens does not carry Fugi cameras and the “cane tips” were a different brand so Walgreens was a bust for me this week.  But CVS came through for me and I got 2 Colgate Pro-relief Sensitive toothpaste, 2 bayer aspirin, 1 centrum fruits&vegetables 100ct, 2 covergirl lashblast, 1 mitchum deodorant and 2 packs of trident gum (I have a 1 pack per week addiction and with all the coupons I was in the (-) so I needed to add something.)  I paid 0.66 out of pocket and got back 8 ECB.

  10. Annie Nguyen says:

Can i buy two colgate and two crest toothpaste in one transaction and get 4,4,2 and 2 extra bucks back?

  11. Chelsea says:

Did you not use the $1/1 Revlon tools and nail enamel coupons, KCL?

  12. junklachelle1410 says:

Just wondering how you were able to use the orbit coupon–it said it was for orbit white.  Using a coupon for another product it isn’t specified for is fraud.  I didn’t use it for that reason.

    • Amanda Silvia says:

Yes, that’s what I was thinking as well.  And I looked on the product to see if all Orbits are considered Orbit White, but I didn’t see anything.

  13. Jacob Ratliff says:

I got in on about 5 or 6 of those great deals!

  14. Did this actually work for you?  I did this but it only totaled $19.99 on my account and says I have to spend another $10.01 to receive the gas card.  Which made sense to me since they are basically giving me the second – it’s not as if I used a coupon.

Bought 2 Physicians Formula Deep Wrinkle Corrector, $19.99Buy One Get One FreeBuy $30.00 worth of product, Receive $10.00 Gas CardUsed $15.00/1 Physicians Formula Product received from CVS machine a week or two agoPaid $4.99, Received $10.00 Gas Card$5.01 Moneymaker

    • Anonymous says:

I was thinking the same thing–it’s BOGO, the 19.99 only shows up once on my receipt and I still have to spend another $10 too.

    • Anonymous says:

Worked for me! I was so excited!

    • Angela White says:

It wasn’t on sale at all in my area, nor included in the gas card deal.

    • Anonymous says:

Ditto-now I did the same deal a few weeks ago  and it worked like a charm got the gas card no problem. Now today no dice. So I too need to figure out what else to buy that is about $10 to get the card….bummer.

      • Angela White says:

If you happen to have any $1/1 package insert coupons for Head & Shoulders (several P&G products have them), you can combine those with some of the $2/1 CVS coupons printing from the machine every day this week. Those are BOGO 50% and apply toward the gas deal. At least here they do.

  15. I think I got that PF coupon also! Hope it wasn’t expired mine quit taking them starting this week. It has been a stressful week, I think I could use some wrinkle cream. Thanks!
