  1. CheyanneHelms says:

ok i have a question if i get 8 bottles of Pantene which is $26 and 1 PF which is 7.99 would i get the gas card since its more than $30 or would the 7.00 from the PF come off before i would be able to get the gas card?

  2. Samalia says:

Quick question that might have been answered: if I bought things toward the gas card on Monday is that purchase still good for the promo now (second ad of the week) or would it have reset?

    • Samalia says:

More specifically- I bought PF things on Monday. I don’t see that they’re included in sale #2

  3. NiaLee says:

My CVS had Vitamin Waters on sale 5 for 5.00 and you get a 1.00 ECB, so essentially 5 for 4.00. I got a coupon from the MCM for 5.00 off when you purchase 10.00 worth of Vitamin Water products. Not a bad deal since we really like the Vitamin Water Zeros because they are made with Truvia and not aspertame.

  4. tina says:

im curious about the whole clearing shelfs idea if I go to cvs and plan to buy six 2 liter cokes and theres only 5 left should i leave 1 behind even though i wanted 6 or if I take all five is that clearing the shelf because I honestly dont feel bad taking 5 if I wanted six

    • CouponCal says:

My take on this is to leave behind enough that someone else can get the same deal I did. If there is a “Buy 3, get 4th free,” I will leave 4. I only clear shelves if I have to buy all the remaining stock to meet a sales threashold (Buy $10, get $2 back). I try to leave at least one of any item. However, if an item is on clearance, I will absolutely clear shelves. When an item is on clearance, the store wants the stock gone ASAP, and I am happy to help if it’s a good deal for me.

  5. I used 2 $3 off  2 Pantene shampoos/conditioners, and two coupons from
the Magic Coupon Machine…one was for $2 off of any brand of
shampoo/cond and one was for $2 off of two Pantene products.  I also had
$3 ECB from an earlier purchase.  My final cost was 60 cents for four
bottles of shampoo/conditioner.  I saved $19.97! I had purchased two
bottles earlier in the week toward the gas card, and then went back the
following day to get this amazing deal!

  6. Tatyana says:

    Here I am, Againnn.

So, the drinks are .79 with a limit of 6. Does that mean for the overall trip or can I do multiple transactions? (I’m wanting to do more than 6)

Thank you in advanced for whoever helps me. :)

    • Anonymous says:

The limit in the ad is meant to imply “per card”, however, for non-ECB deals like this, there is no way to really track that, so you *might* be able to make separate trips to get more than 6, just be sure not to clear any shelves :)  Hope that helps!

    • Anonymous says:

I’ve had cashiers tell me what Elizarae said, if you do a separate transaction it gives you the sale price again.

    • Tatyana says:

      Thank you both :)

I ask too many questions but, I’m only 16 trying to get better at couponing. It’s pretty fun & there are so many great deals out there.

      • Anonymous says:

I started last summer at 17! We all have to figure it out sometime, you just get an early start:p

  7. Rhaoda Thao says:

Earlier this week, I found some Zyrtec on clearance for $3.94. Use $4q and got it for free with $.06mm. Seeing as how they’re so expensive, I thought I’d stock up. =D

  8. Just started couponing an was an ‘idiot’ and asked for the $3 off $15 in health care duh !! Should have done the cosmetic’s. Does anyone have an deal ideas’s how I can use this?

    • Anonymous says:

Thta’s not a bad coupon at all! You can use it on next week’s Spend $7, Receive $3 Extra Bucks deal on Band-Aid, J&J, and Neosporin items. There are also great vitamin sales next week- Centrum ProNutrients is on sale for $9.99, and there will be a $5 off coupon in the Sunday paper. Good luck!

  9. Margaret A Perry says:

I just wanted you to know how much I value all your tips on how to save $$$!!!!!  I’ve been making out quite well at CVS, combining my own coupons with theirs at the magic coupon machine!!!  Thanks for all your tips!!!

  10. I’m confused….you posted this for the Crest toothpaste. “And use one $0.75/1 Crest rinse, 458 ml or larger, excludes trial/travel sizes, limit 1 coupon per purchase, limit of 4 like coupons in same shopping trip from PG 7/1 (exp 7/31)”….can this coupon for rinse be used for toothpaste?

  11. Anonymous says:

Check your extra care accounts. I just got an e-mail for $4.00/ $20.00 purchase ( sale included) I have until 7/8 to print it. I’m getting ready to see if it will work best for me this week or next week

    • Krismcken says:

It should work whichever day you use it. I got the e-mail, too. I’ve gotten them before and they always worked. Get $20 and use that coupon first, then any other CVS coupons and manufacturers. It’s an easy way to bring the cost way down. You will still get any EB earned and all sale/clearance items can be included.

      Great money saver!

      • Anonymous says:

Thanx, I just can’t decide if I want to do the gas card deal or the coke/ kellogg’s ecb deal next week. I haven’t gotten any CVS coupons that would make the gas card deal even sweeter. I’m going to stop by CVS later & scan my card. Then I’ll have to decide :o)

  12. Sally Jewell says:

I have a question about beauty club.. A few days ago (7/2) I made this purchase…

    (1) Orangix Keratin Hair Treatment $9.79
    (2) Hawaiian Tropic Sunscreen $10.49 x 2 = 20.98
    (1) Scunci Hairbands 4ct. $5.29
    (1) Conair Hairbrush $4.59
    (1) Nexxus Spit End Treatment: Regular Price $15.29 – 50% off Clearance = $7.65
    (2) Physicians Formula Lip-gloss $9.89 – Save $7 = $2.89 x 2 = $5.78
    (1) Physicians Formula Concealer $7.79 – Save $7 = $0.79
    (1) Physicians Formula Eyeliner $11.79 – Save $7 = $3.79

    Total :$58.66

My beauty club balance was $300.58 before this purchase. My new balance is $349.61. So they didn’t count $9.63 … At first thought it wasn’t counting the Nexxus because it was on clearance, but that was $7.65.

I can’t figure out what it counted and what it didn’t. Anyone know if clearance, sunscreen, or hairbrushes count towards beauty club?

    • Anonymous says:

Sunscreen does not count towards the beauty club. Clearance items and hair brushes do count though. HTH’s!

  13. Tina says:

Is the pf still on sale

    • Anonymous says:

Depends on on your regional ad.  In my region, the sales ad is valid all 7 days, but for others, the 3-day ad was over yesterday.  Go to the CVS website and search for your ad by your zipcode to confirm the sale in your area.

  14. daddy2hmc says:

I plan on getting 4 Pantene, 4 Crest, 4 Dawn, and want to fit the physicians formula in as well to make up for the last few dollars I need to reach the gas card.
I have a 15 off PF coupon from the magic machine.
My question is…since the product is on sale for 7 off making it .99…do I have to buy 15 of them in order to reach the (up to a 15 value)  that the coupon states?   If not how many should I buy to get the best deal out of the PF coupon?

    • Anonymous says:

The $15 off coupon is for the skin care line which is on sale for $7.99 this week (depends on your ad if it’s on sale past Tues).  It’s not meant for cosmetics.

      • daddy2hmc says:

my pf coupon does not state “skin” care.

        • daddy2hmc says:

It is valid.  So how do I make the most out of the PF coupon?  Do I have to buy 15?

          • Mztracyvong says:

i was able to buy make up with my 15 dollar coupon and since its on sale right now I was able to get a concealer and loose powder with cents to spare.

    • Anonymous says:

In order to use your $15 PF coupon, you must spend at least $15 (after sale price) on PF items

  15. sully says:

its the gift card tracking or i have to purchase all participating items in one transaction please help thanks. I never done giftcard deals before. THANKS

  16. Anonymous says:

I bought a few items yesterday that are part of the gas deal but did not spend the whole $30.  Since there are two adds this week will what I have spent carry over for the second add or will I have to start over?

    • sully says:

check at the bottom of your receipt it usually tells u if its tracking or not. I have the same question cause i never done gift card deals before

  17. MZTRACYVONG says:

OMG I’M SO HAPPY!! THE COUPON MACHINE PRINTED ME OUT A 15 DOLLAR OFF ANY PHYSICIANS FORMULA FACIAL CARE PRODUCT AND SINCE THEY’RE ALREADY ON SALE I WAS ABLE TO GET 1 MINERAL WEAR LOOSE POWDER AND A YOUTHFUL WEAR VELVET FOUNDATION WITH BRUSH AND HAD CENTS TO SPARE!! AMAZING!!!!

  18. Amy says:

for the spend $30 get $10 gas deal, is that $30 before sale and coupons? or just before coupons?

    • Anonymous says:

You must spend the $30 at the sale price, before coupons :)

      • sully says:

do i have to buy the $30 in one transaction or i can do it in two. THANKS im not sure if its tracking or not. Never done a gift card deal before.

  19. tina says:

i bought pf make up sunday and it took off 7 dollars if I buy another one will it take another 7 dollars off

  20. Elishabah says:

Free and Money Maker! I stopped at a different CVS today, it usually has items in stock when my usual store runs out. I got lucky and found one of the Physicians Formula PH maker Lip Gloss with a $3 coupon/peelie attached. It was marked 9.99 plus the $3 off peelie and $7 off any PF. Making it totally free! I also found the Felt Black eyeliner marked 7.79, $7 off any PF and $1/1 manufacture coupon made it a money maker. +$0.21.

  21. Canes1999 says:

could you use $4 off $20 if part of your purchase was stamps?

  22. Jcm1907 says:

I got a 15.00 off any physicians formula facial care purchase, will i be able to use this with facial cosmetics or the skin care items only???

    • Anonymous says:

The PF Facial Care coupon can only be used on the PF Skincare products found in the Skincare Aisle

    • SunnyHavens says:

My CVS took the coupon on cosmetics and it went through without any issues.  Another KCL user did the same thing. The $15 price covered by the coupon also counts toward the gas card deal.

  23. Sarahd says:

I have a question about the gas card, I still need to spend 12 to trigger the coupon for the gas card. Do I need to spend this before Wed. since there is a new sale starting or will they still track on my card for the rest of the week.

    • Anonymous says:

If you are in the 3-day sale region, then just to be safe you should try to hit the $30 mark by Wednesday. I can’t guarantee that it won’t reset on Thursday, sorry!

    • Ashleigh says:

I called CVS customer service today asking that same question. I was told by a representative that the gas card deals (the accumulated value) run week to week (including this 3 & 4 day sale).

  24. Krise says:

I still have to go through my CVS folder, I need paper towel and that dang .25 off coupon is a bit lame, thought there was a better coupon out there..  Is this a sale price on paper towels?  If not, a % off coupon would help bring it down to under .50 per paper towel.

Yes, Bounty Paper Towels are on sale this week so your 30% coupon will not apply. If there is a price listed in the Ad, then it means that item is on sale for that price. HTH’s!

Question…if I still have a $7 off any physicians formula cosmetics purchase from the MCM can I somehow use that with the physicians formula promo this week?

  27. Kathryn Webb says:

Reminder, just like iLoveFree posted, the CoverGirl can be used to kinda make money on the gas card deal.
If you have the $3/$10 cosmetic purchase coupon from the Magic Coupon Machine from last week,
and purchase 4 eye shadows (they’re $3.89 at my store, buy one get one 50% off)
and use $3.00/2 Covergirl products, excludes trial/travel sizes, limit 1
coupon per purchase, limit of 4 like coupons in same shopping trip from
    PG 7/1 (exp 7/31)
    you’ve got a total of $11.67
Multiply that by 66% (because we’re using this to help with the gas card deal) = $7.70
    Subtract $3/$10 MCM coupon
    Subtract 2- $3/2 Covergirl coupons
    Total ~ $1.30 overage

Also if you got a $3/$10 liquid Tide coupon from the MCM, use it with a couple $1/1 Tide coupons in the 7/1 P&G insert when you buy 2 Tide on sale for $5.97 at my store.  Figuring that it’s part of the gas card deal, instead of paying almost $6, you’ll be paying $1.44 each wyb 2

Just find $6.39 more of gas card eligible products and you’ve got yourself a sweet deal!  Happy shopping!

    • Dipsy Gupta says:

Hey ..I’m new to couponing ..I didn’t get the scenario you explained above correctly.. Like the CG cosmetics ..Would the 11.67 count towards the deal or the 7.70(I thought this would not qualify for the 3 off 10 CG and also the register would automatically note its value with the 50% off so 7.70 not 11.67 ) . Also didnt get how tide comes to 1.44 each ..

  28. Ashlane says:

I posted in the brag lounge about my CVS trip yesterday. I bought 6 covergirl mascaras yesterday and used 3 buy one get one free coupons.  I used the $3/10 makeup coupon from the redbox.  My post was removed for “coupon fraud.”   HOW WAS THIS COUPON FRAUD?????? Someone help me out here!

    • Didn’t see your post, but did you by any chance let the cashier deduct the full price for the BOGO Q?  The max is 7.50, which is all the store can get reimbursed for, so anything more than that is considered fraud.  Like I said, I didn’t see your post so I’m just guessing about the problem.

      • sully says:

i dont think that was the issue its not her fault if the register took the full amount the cashier has to fix that. there must be something. it seems you only use 3 coupons and the limit is 4 per shopping trip. i did not see your post sorry unless the 3/10 coupon was not for mascara.

    • sully says:

maybe the $3/10 coupon was not for mascara. but for foundation sorry i did not see your post

    • Anonymous says:

I didn’t see your post, but if your actual shopping trip was yesterday then I think I know why.  The BOGO CoverGirl mascara coupon expired on 6/30.  Again, I didn’t see your post, so maybe they thought you used the coupon past the expiration date?  That’s the only thing I can think of…

Also, I’ve had my post removed before too because I wasn’t aware, and they explain in the email why.

I am missing something here…How do you use manufacturer’s coupons at CVS.com?

  30. Andrea De La Garza says:

I’m having issues with the gas card deals and the $10 EB wyb $30 or more deals…  The 3 stores I’ve tried this at say I have to pay OOP $30 or more in order to generate the prompt for the gas card or the $10 EB wyb $30 or more deal.  The managers say they cant force the card prompt or the EB to print for me unless I pay the $30 before tax.  Which means I cant use coupons.  Is it that your stores managers are just really cool and your lucky that you shop at those locations that force the EB’s for you or give the gas card anyway when you spend less than the $30?  or is this something that these stores should be doing as well but arent?  I usually pass up on these types of deals that are really good because its a losing argument for me at the stores I live near but maybe there is something I am missing.  KCL please help me!

    • Ty says:

I have the same question!  I want to do the H&S deal but don’t know if it counts before coupons or after coupons.

      • Jcm1907 says:

you buy 30.00 worth or products totaling 30.00+tax, then it will trigger the gas card in the register once you hit the 30.00 qualifying products, now coupons is like another method of payment its almost good as cash since stores get reimbursement,+ u can also use ecb’s(extrabucks) as an additional payment on top of that, then whatever is left over you pay with cash… You will see a gas card coupon at the end of your receipt that you can redeem right in-store to get the actual gas card.It should work fine ive done it so many times. hope this helps :)

        • Anonymous says:

The managers are wrong. Coupons and Extra Bucks do not affect the Gas Card deal or any other Extra Bucks deal for that matter. Don’t worry what the manager told you, the amounts will track at the bottom of your receipt and you Extra Bucks or Gas Cards will print as long as you spend the amount required. The amount that rings up at the register (the sale price) is the amount that will count towards the Extra Bucks deal or Gas Card deal. HTH’s!

          • Heather says:

I have 2 questions about the Gas Card deal KCL.  I went to CVS Saturday night, because that’s when the next week’s sale actually starts at my store, and spent $34.03 and earned a gas card.  I went back to CVS today (Monday) planning to buy 5 Tides and 1 Dawn to earn a gas card for this week, but I goofed and only bought 4 Tides and 1 Dawn.  I ended up spending only $24.85 toward the gas card, but the $10 gas card ECB still printed.  At the bottom of my receipt it now says I spent $58.88 toward the reward, which is my $34.03 from Saturday night and my $24.85 from today.  So that leaves me with 2 questions:  1- If you go Saturday night after the new sale is “live” then will any overage carry over into the new week?, and 2- How close do you actually have to get to the $30 to trigger the gas card ECB?  I mean, I’m $1.12 short, and it still let me get it.

            • sully says:

no you better hurry and spend the 2 bucks to reach the 60 and get another card before sale week is over . no overage carries in to next week

    • sully says:

no you dont have to spend 30 oop to get the card as long as you reached the 30 mark before coupons you were supposed to get it

  32. Ty says:

So I am wondering what to do.  I want to purchase the H&S deal.  If I do just those will I still get the $10 gc?? What total counts towards the gift card, after coupons or before coupons? Not to for sure about this part of the deal!  Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

    • Anonymous says:

Head & Shoulders are not part of the Gas Card deal this week. But FYI, the amount that rings up at the register (the sale price) is what counts towards the Gas Card deal. Coupons/Extra Bucks do not affect the total.

      • Ty says:

Oh darn!! You are right.  I read my ad wrong.  I already purchased H&S (4) already thinking that it was part of the deal.  I see in my ad that it’s only the Olay, the colors of my ad match the top dark blue to light blue bottom, that’s what messed me up.  Even the cashier said that it should count..haha.  Oh well…it was still an awesome deal to match the BOGO and $2 off CVS any shampoo coupons.

        H&S 2/$13
        Purchased 2, got 2 free H&S = $26
        2 BOGO coupons = $13
        4 – CVS $2 off any shampoo = $5
Used $5 ECB’s I received from the coupon machine

        • Dawn Harris says:

Next week the H&S are BOGO 1/2 off!

at CVS? how would that work if you had b1g1 free (p&g) coupon?

            • Anonymous says:

Basically, per their policy, the store is supposed to make the “Get 1 50% off item” the free item, so it basically becomes B1G1 free.  However, some stores/registers will take the full-priced item off as the free item, so you basically get 2 for 50% off 1 (75% off total) – it really depends on your cashier.

If you received the $3 of $10 purchase of CoverGirl cosmetics from the MCM last week you can combine that coupon along with 2 $3/2 CoverGirl producs from today’s PG to get a pretty good deal on eyeshadow.  I bought 4 CoverGirl eye enhancers…2 at $3.79 and 2 at $1.89 (B1G1 50% off this week).  Total comes out to $11.36 – $3 – $3 – $3 = $2.36.  That’s $0.59 each!  It’s even better because CoverGirl is part of the gas card promo :)

  42. Heather says:

I went to CVS last night and used my 30% off on the many items I bought,
some of which were sale items (2 Hershey’s Simple Pleasures on sale
2/$6), 2 Physician’s Formula that was marked down to $7.99 ea but
actually rang up $5.25 ea, 2 Loreal Sublime that rang up BOGO 1/2 off, 7
Covergirl from the BOGO 1/2 off sale, 2 Aussie shampoo BOGO 1/2 off,
plus non-sale items, including newspapers, bayer, milk, AZ tea, and
pepto to go.  I added up the non-sale items and calculated what the 30%
should be, but it only came up to $12.45 and I actually got $15.61 off.
Which of my sale/BOGO items would have also received the 30% off I
wonder?  It’s just nice to know this so I can make better use of my next
30% off.  I’ve been couponing for over a year now, but I’m always left
scratching my head wondering  how this 30% off works! :)

    • Anonymous says:

Sounds like you used your 30% off coupon very well, great job!

      • Heather says:

Thank you KCL :)  My total was $119.79 plus tax before coupons, and after the CVS and manu coupons, 30% off, and a $10 ECB were all applied, I ended up paying $25.01 with a $10 gas card and two $1 ECB’s left over.  I figured between the price I would normally pay for the newspapers and milk at the grocery store, I paid about $5 for all the other great stuff I got :)  I just wish that the way the 30% off was applied wasn’t so much of a mystery.

  43. Heather Colwell says:

If you use ECB’s with a 30% off, does the amount of your 30% get reduced. Like say you use a $10 ECB, do you lose the 30% savings on that $10 you saved?

    • Anonymous says:

Extra bucks earned from the beauty club or your Green Bag tag will reduce the 30% coupon. Also, if you use a “forced printed” Extra Bucks, that also will reduce it. HTH’s!

      • Carolina Miranda says:

Could you please expand on this a little more?  If my total purchase of non-sale items is $10 and I use the 30% coupon and $5 beauty club xtb, will I end up paying $8 oop or $2 oop?  I can’t believe I never noticed this reduction before.

Also, what do you mean by ‘force printed’ xtb?  Are they something a cashier would have to do for you?  Like if you used a rain check or if for some reason an xtb didn’t print when it should have?

        • Anonymous says:

I wish I was in need of beach toys and accessories!  I ended up doing 2 of the Olay Regenerist Serums for $18.99 minus 2 of the $3/1 coupons (plus they qualify for the $10 Olay rebate), 2 Pantene hair detanglers for my daughter at 2 for $6.50, minus $3/2 man q, minus $2 CVS store Q, minus $1 CVS store Q, and a bunch of PF stuff….ended up getting 2x $10 gas cards.

    • I’ll be doing that too! It will be on the upper right corner of the box stating  “$5 in coupons inside” for people who are concerned about if they get them or not!

      • Yep – the cartons are marked and the coupons are printed on the inside of the carton. You have to open the box and put the contents in something else (I used a plastic sandwich bag) and then you have to cut the coupons out.

    • My $5 Shick Hydro Silk MCM coupon is for the women’s razor, so if yours is the same, then I would think no. It wouldn’t work on men’s razors.

    • Anonymous says:

The $5 Schick Hydro Silk coupon can only be used on that item. Using that coupon along with the 7/1 sale will still get you a Schick Hydro Silk Razor for only $1.49, not a bad deal!

Your page lists items for Spend $30 get $10 gas card in two areas – top doesn’t include sale dates and bottom says prices good 7/4 through 7-7.  Is 7/4 – 7/7 for both?  It appears that the items are the same.

    • The top is 7/1-7/3 I believe.

    • Anonymous says:

The paragraph above the matchup’s explains the reason for two gas card sections. The first matchups are for the 3 day sale which run 7/1-7/3, and the second section is for the deals that run form 7/4-7/7. There are several versions of the CVS Ad this week so be sure to check with your local ad before purchases.

  60. SunnyHavens says:

Whoa Nelly!  I have a $15 off any Physician’s Formula facial care purchase from the MCM that expires 7/1.  May I use this on one item and still get $7 off — essentially getting $21 of the $30 free? Also, will CVS give overage or will it take $15 off of multiple items rather than just one?

    • The PF $15 off coupon is valid on Skin Care only, like facial creams and such. So unfortunately, no, you can’t use it on the cosmetics. :[

      • SunnyHavens says:

Facial care is skin care, isn’t it?

        • Anonymous says:

The Physicians Formula Skincare Facial Care items are found in the Skincare Aisle, not with the cosmetics. The items found in the skincare aisle are the items that the coupon can be used on. HTH’s!

          • SunnyHavens says:

KCL, my cashier said that their store takes coupons like this for cosmetics all the time.  He said as long as it goes through it’s golden.  It did.  That made me a very happy camper.

      • Lorenchristene says:

There were 2 Physician’s Formula coupons printing from the redbox- $15 off PF skincare and $15 off PF facial care. I got the facial care one and asked the cashier what I could use it on and she told me ANY of the PF cosmetics (as long as the total came above $15)…I got a mascara and a concealer, no beeps. So SunnyHavens, I would say pick up $15 of PF cosmetics (after the $7 off)…you’ll get a lot of bang for your buck and have $15 toward your gas card deal. Lucky you!

        • Is th 7.00 a coupon or just automatically comes off when they ring it up?

          • SunnyHavens says:

It rings up as a sale price of – $7.

          • Lorenchristene says:

The sale is $7 off Physicians Formula Cosmetics priced over $7…My store sells their eyeshadow quad for $7.49…so the eyeshadow will ring up as $0.49! It sounds unbelievable but they’re trying to clear out a lot of PF products from what I’ve heard.

        • SunnyHavens says:

That’s exactly what I did.  The $15 savings also counted toward the $30 gas card.  What a great deal!

    • Anonymous says:

Also to the overage question, I’ve found that it’s really up to the cashier. The first time I tried to get overage the cashier let it go though and maybe did not notice that there was overage being applied. Then my roommate tired using her’s and they told her they would not give overage. I’m not sure what the official policy on this is.

      • Anonymous says:

CVS does not give overage according to the CVS Coupon Policy :)

        • How do you handle this? I bought a $7.29 PF eyeshadow. It took $7 off due to the deal and I used a $1 off coupon PF cosmetics coupon. My receipt shows a .71 cent overage. I wasnt aware CVS doesnt officially give overage til I read this comment. What should I do in the future?

    • Anonymous says:

I got that coupon & just asked the cashier if it could be used on cosmetics. She said yes, and it went thru just fine.

I ran to the store and found fantastic deals using this coupon.  What a great way to save this week.  My purchases before the $15 coupon counted toward a gas card.  KCL posted earlier that PF was not part of the deal.  It was for me.  You?

        • Roci_R says:

Heck yeah! I did the deal using last week’s gas match-ups. I paid .49 for the products, but received 15.49 toward the deal. Then, I paid $6.50 oop for 2 M&M, 2 Pepsi, & 2 Herbal Essence & got a $10.00 gas card. So a $3.00 MM!!

It is not doing that on cosmetics. I bought $8.99 eye shadow and then it scanned for $1.99 so I got $1.99 toward Gas card.

            • SunnyHavens says:

It is doing that.  Roci and I both used the $15 coupon to cover our out-of-pocket price for PF cosmetics (what’s left after the $7 discount).  That amount does qualify for the Spend $30 get $10 gas card.

Does the gas promotion start on the 1st?

        • Anonymous says:

There is a gas promotion that is running this week, and there is also another one that starts on July 1st. The gas promotions reset from week to week (when there is one).

Hi KCL, I just have 2 question:
            1. Is there a new ad coming out for July 4 to July 7 or is some of the deals on this ad for july 4 to 7?

            2.  And also, I still  have my 30% off Q good till July 4, I wonder if I buy the Pampers $24.99 (with free gas card) will my 30% off work?  Is it going to give me 30% off the $24.99?

theres no limit for the physician formula and EB that u can get?

      • Anonymous says:

I am confused as to where the $7 comes into play.  I see $ off coupons in your matchup but don’t see where it is ECB or discount. can you explain for a novice?  Thanks

        • SunnyHavens says:

All Physician’s Formula cosmetics priced over $7 is $7 off (no minimum purchase).  All money spent after the -$7 sale price is applied to the Spend $30 Get $10 Gas Card promotion.  There is no ECB associated with Physician’s Formula.  If you’re enrolled in the Beauty Club, it also tracks for Beauty Club Rewards.  HTH

im confused you can use expired coupons for the gas card deal?
Use two $3.00/2 Pantene products, excludes trial/travel sizes, limit 1 coupon per purchase, limit of 4 like coupons in same shopping trip from PG 5/13 (exp 6/30)

In my 3 day sale circular Softsoap liquid hand soap (7.5 oz) is BOGO Free.  This would match up nicely with the coupon you listed earlier in the week.

Can I use my 30% to purchase regular priced things for the gas card deal? Samalia, if you buy 2 milk in the same transaction it will print you a $2 ECB.

    • Anonymous says:

My experience is no.  The coupon usually says off promotional items also.  Since it is part of the gas card deal, that is a promotional item.

    • Anonymous says:

Yep – your 30% Off will work for the items in the Gas Card deal that are regular priced!

      • Robert says:

The 30% also works on ECB deals that are regularly priced.
Unfortunately it does not work when the ad says “WITH CARD”. One time I wanted to pay the regular price and get 30% off rather than the WITH CARD price (to save $6 rather than $1) but they couldn’t/wouldn’t do it.

      • Anonymous says:

        Which ones are regular price?

  65. Samalia says:

Question- if there is a “limit 2″ on an ECB deal do I need to do two transactions or can I put both products in the same trans? Ie. if I buy two gallons of milk in the same transaction will two $1 ECBs print?

    • Anonymous says:

You can purchase both at the same time and both your rewards will print out.  At the bottom of your receipt it will state that your ECB limit for that product has been reached.

      • Samalia says:

        Thanks!

        • Carol_R says:

One problem though is that CVS will combine your EB’s into 1. So if there is a limit of 2 and you would get a $5 EB for each one, at CVS it would print out 1 $10 EB. At Rite Aid it works differently and there it would print out (2) $5 UP Rewards.

beware though that for like ECBs you will get the whole value on one ECB instead of 2 ECB for the deal value…like if it’s a $2 ECB deal you will get ONE $4 ECB instead of TWO $2 ECBs if you do one transaction so keep in mind your future purchase totals after coupons and before taxes to determind if you want to split it into 2 transactions or just do it in one.
