  1. Jadpmoore-01 says:

I am in Texas and this ad still applies to us through tomorrow. The Lay’s potato chips coupons did not scan (as well as the RP Hefty q). The supervisor accused me of photocopying! Gasp!!!! I am a strict coupon rule follower and I’m so offended at his accusation! You have to have thick skin to coupon these days. A lot of people treat us as if we are criminals just because we’re trying to save some money.

  2. Janetks says:

Does anyone know? Does the Daytona event continue the week of 7/8?

  3. kim says:

anyone else having trouble downloading the hefty coupon?

  4. NiaLee says:

My Kroger in metro Atlanta had Airwick candles, Febreeze candles and Glade products on closeout for dirt cheap prices. Pair those prices with coupons and you’ve got a steal. I bought the smaller sized Airwick candles for 1.64 each and plan to go back with my coupons for an adjustment. I don’t usually carry a binder, just my coupons matched up for my planned deals in an envelope. It’s times like this that carrying a binder makes alot of sense!

  7. Sittingathisfeet2010 says:

Ok so let me just say I LOVE THIS SITE! But i have a question. A lot of the grocery stores you mention are not in my state (Michigan) the store very popular here is Meijer. Is there any site that does the same kind of coupon & price matching that you do so i can get better on my grocery savings?

  8. Anonymous says:

ok.. this has nothing to do with couponing but i had to share. my area has been hit pretty bad by the recent storm. 100% of my county and neighboring county were out of power for two days. kroger decided to take all of their perishable items and grill them up and give them away for free before they spoiled due to no electricity.. while walmart let everything spoil and go in the trash. now, don’t get me wrong.. i love walmart.. but i think this says something about kroger. just thought i’d share. happy couponing!

    • SunnyHavens says:

Sometimes my store will grill meat and give it out when they have an abundance that won’t sell.

    • NiaLee says:

That speaks volumes to me! Way to go Kroger!

    • Anonymous says:

Wow this is an awesome story.  Being in Ohio, there were a TON of stores around me that were without power over the past week due to the recent storms.  All of them had to trash their entire fridge and freezer sections – every gas station, grocery store, convenience store…throwing away all of that stuff.
It was most likely a local decision for your Kroger to do what they did – probably the General Manager of that store and the employees at that store.  You should write a letter or email to Kroger corporate and share the story…I think that is pretty awesome. :)

  9. Just wondering why items that were marked at stock-up prices last week are not marked at stock-up prices this week and it is the same sale? I have been having to go through the kroger list very closely to figure out what is a stock-up price and ALOT of these items are but are not marked as such. The country time hot pockets and heft bags just to name a few. Just wondering what is going on with this and didn’t want people to think there are no stock-up items this week when there are.

  10. Olden70 says:

With the double couponing at Kroger. If you have a coupon the is 1.00 off 2 does that double to 2 because its .50 off one?

  11. Lynn says:

FYI……General Mills’ brands, Starbuck’s brands, the Oreo brand all spend your money to support efforts to legalize Gay Marriage.  As a result, I no longer buy any of these brands/products.  Join me!

    • Anonymous says:

What does this have to do with couponing?
My taste buds have no political views.

    • Samalia says:

Thanks for the FYI! I’ll be buying more of these brands!

    • Ali Lee says:

i dont support gay marriage but i dont judge either! I am a Christian and i just dont believe in that BUT if someone else is i dont have a problem! If its a good deal and i save money, the products still taste great to me!

    • Anonymous says:

Disney and all it’s movies and theme parks. Will you boycot them too? Seriously you will end up eating nothing! What about the farmer who is gay? will you not buy grain from him?

Lynn, I applaud you for being passionate about your beliefs, and willing to sacrifice to support your beliefs – and be strong enough to stand and share them.  Most people can’t do the same.
Unfortunately, for almost every company/brand out there, you could trace where they spend some of their money to a cause, political group, support group, etc. that you don’t personally believe in.  If you stopped your spending habits at any place where some trace of their money trickled into something you didn’t believe in, you would go hungry…have to be naked…not have a cell phone…and definitely never be able to buy gas!
      Just a thought…

    • Thanks for telling us, I’ll make sure to purchase more of these brands’ products in solidarity for their compassion for all human beings. Hopefully the increase in sales will translate to more companies supporting legal gay marriage!

My Dillons (Kroger) only doubles up to $1.00 and also won’t double or stack the e-coupons.

My store, “Fred Meyers” doesn’t double any coupons and won’t accept any coupon over the price if the item.   Sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been told that Kroger in Phoenix, AZ doesn’t double those softcoin coupons so its sort of difficult for me to bother with them unless they are at least a dollar.  Is anyone else experiencing this same issue in their state? Please let me know where and when if you agree or don’t have this issue, Thanks, Happy Fourth Bargaining

Same here in OH.  And they can’t be stacked either as Kroger treats them as MQs.  I don’t bother with Qs lower than $1 either unless I’m on my way out the door and have no paper Q for the item and need the item.

Nana, it is a Kroger policy that the ecoupons are not doubled.
