My cvs had them for $6.29. However, since the coupon said “free cortaid” and they didnt have any priced at $5.99, the cashier said she could give me a $1 off coupon, which made it a $0.50 MM! Between that deal and the nivea deal early this week, i made $4.50! I love coupons!

  2. Edith Chaves says:

boo i checked my cvs yesterday & i dont think they even carry cortaid! :( oh well i didnt really need it anyway

  3. I got the coupon but cant find the darn thing

  4. Anonymous says:

I got mine.  There were only 2 left, so I’m guessing this coupon printed for others on Saturday as well?  If there are out, I would wait until Friday, they’ll be restocked by then.

  5. Jennifer Trimble says:

i contacted our district manager and he said it should not be a problem to substitute for another anti-itch item! i bought a CVS brand item for $7.39…and received a $2.00 ecb…money maker, a small one…but a def money maker!!

  6. Anonymous says:

Got the coupon but all out of the cream

  7. Edith Chaves says:

yay me & my sister both got this coupon! i love these freebies :)

  8. Dr. says:

Anybody else notice that the expiration date is really close? I received one (had to pay the .50 overage), but hubby noticed that it expires in 6 months.  He thinks that’s why they are free.  Just checking to see if that theory is correct! Don’t think we’ll use it all up in that short period of time.

    • Misty says:

Mine will let me use a red machine coupon until 90 expired unless it is % off so even though mine is out now I’m sure I will find some while the coupon is still usable

  9. Michelle says:

My cvs they where $6.29, NOT free like promised/advertised but atleast they had one in stock

  10. Lovin Summer says:

I went early this morning to CVS to scan my card in hopes for the Cortaid cpn, but the machine was down :(   at least I got 4 more of the p.f. makeup for .29! I’m happy.

  11. Nic ola says:

I think that you can probably stack the Free Cortaid coupon with a $1.00/1 Cortaid Product, excludes trial size from RP 6/10 (exp 7/31), and get an even bigger money maker. Not sure though. As anyone tried to do this.

    • Anonymous says:

I was able to stack the MFR. Q with the free deal. I also picked up 2 Physicians Formula concealers, .79 each, used $1.00 ecb, .23 OOP for all three items!!!!

  12. Allison says:

If you scan your cvs card twice you get different coupons the second time
it works most of the time

  13. Patrice says:

I snatched the last Cortaid but my mom wasn’t able to get hers. We didn’t know you could substitute for the CVS brand.

  14. Blah Blah says:

Mine was priced at $6.49 in the store so the cashier just took off $5.99 and charged me $0.50. Not bad for the cream, just too bad my store raises prices so high that it wasn’t free.

  15. I got one too! It is actually priced at 6.49 at my CVS so 49 cents, but there was only 1 left and I didn’t want to be a shelf clearer lol so I’ll go back on Thursday when they restock.

  16. Karen Larin84 says:

I got one but the actually cost of the tube is $6.29… I paid 30 for mine it wasn’t actually free. Thats ok 30 cents is worth it/

  17. Anonymous says:

Got the q, but my usual CVS doesn’t carry that brand – thought about asking for a substitution but didn’t. If the next closest store doesn’t, then I certainly will see about getting a Cortizone-10 or the CVS brand instead since the cashiers there are very coupon-friendly and know me well…

  18. Anonymous says:

Oh my goodness we go through this like water at my house! Thank you for posting! My husband and I were lucky enough to both get a coupon and as an extra bonus the cvs cashier gave them both back and told me to come back Wednesday when they get the next shipment :))))

  19. i got one and a 5 dollar off 10 purchase. Love the free stuff!!!!!!!

  20. Andrea Zullo says:

I found mine in a special display with build your own first aid kits!  JIC, ask your store if they can check the stock in neighboring areas.

today is the day that the quarterly ecbs you have earned are being sent out just fyi. got my the last cortaid at my store and the nivea deal.

  22. jakesmom130 says:

I was so excited today when I went to my CVS to get the Physicians Formula deal & ended up with 3 Cortaid coupons. My mom got one and gave it to me so thats how I got a 3rd. But this deal is great especially because I have horrible eczema, so I was very excited about this. Not to mention the physicians formula deal, I ended up with 12 concealers for $2 tax No shelf clearing this was from 3 different stores. Great makeup that actually covers up my eczema without looking like your makeup is caked on like a mask. :)
Thanks KCL for helping us get these great deals. Youve been a life saver for our family.  Helping us learn how to coupon correctly & get these great deals & save big!! <3

  23. Mwhreler724 says:

My boyfriend and I went in and scanned our cards and not only did we get the free cortaid but he got an automatic 7.50 ECB and I got 1.50 ECB.

    • Gaby says:

The ECB is from your quarterly rewards where you get 2% back on what you spend. The lower the amount you get the better because it means you are spending very little out of pocket.

  24. Garcia Rachel711 says:

I got this coupon, and I got there right when the store opened and I got the last one, I think that they just don’t carry that much of it in stock.

  25. Goodsully says:

I just got one and couldn’t find any so I asked the manager and she said to just pick any anti itch and I could use the 5.99 coupon.  She said they carry Cortaid but I could not find the tag anywhere. I went in hoping to get a Mitchum coupon but no luck.  Did get 4 physician formula items for really cheap though.

  26. Anonymous says:

Just got back from CVS and like everyone else my CVS didnt even carry Cortaid, but, I just grabbed Cortizone and the coupon went through no problems. :)

  27. Ddeters77 says:

I talked to someone that worked in the pharmacy. Since they were sold out she said I could use coupon on a CVS brand, and showed me which ones. So I picked up the one compared to Cortizone 10. As I walked out I looked over my receipt and smiled big Receipt showed…. If you spend $7 on CVS firstaid you get $ 3 EBs. I only need to spend $1.51 to get $ 3 EBs woohoo. I did not know about this deal until now. I Will be making a trip tomorrow ..lol.

  28. Alyson Brown says:

I got the coupon, but they were out of it. I hope to snag some at a different CVS tomorrow.

  29. Jennhendrix says:

I got this coupon and was able to find the product at my CVS.  I also happened to have a $1 off any Cortaid coupon, so it was a money maker for me!

  30. Susan S. says:

Sure….if you can find a CVS who carries the Cortaid brand…
I tried 2 CVS and no Cortaid.  AND I wanted to buy Cortaid there months ago when they had a sale & coupon for it and never had it then.  (we use Cortaid on a regular basis)
They have TONS of their brand and the other Cortizone brand.
This is twice now they have given me coupons for items they don’t even carry (and this is at one of the big CVS’s)
Last week I received a $10 off Fekki Hair Care and out of 4 different CVS’s I went to, not one carried that brand at all. :-(
Otherwise I get great deals at CVS; just wish they wouldn’t distribute coupons for brands they don’t carry…

    • Strawberry_nd says:

I have also tried to find Cortaid in the past with no luck. Mine did have the tag on the shelf but it was cleared. I also noticed they had plenty of CVS and Cortizone. Bummer.

    • Jennifer7995 says:

I would ask a manager, none of my cvs carries cortaid either, but they let me get a cortizone up to $5.99 instead! Never hurts to ask, the cashier didn’t even question it. Plus I found one with a $1 off coupon attached that doesn’t expire until 2014!

    • Anonymous says:

Same boat – I got the coupon, but none of my local CVS locations carry Cortaid.  Tomorrow I will swing by and see if they will let me use it on the Cortizone brand.
I got 2 of the Fekkai $10 off coupons, but the cheapest things (other than the $9 ‘trial sizes’) were still like $22.  No chance I am paying even $12 for a bottle of shampoo or whatever.  For $12, it better color, cut, and massage my wife’s scalp on top of cleaning and conditioning it.

      • Anonymous says:

our glossing trial we got from cvs was 26.99 and used the 10.00 off .. plus used some ecbs … and i’m sooooo glad that i got it … I LOVE it … not sure what i’m going to do when i run out =/ .. no way i’m paying 20 something a bottle .. … but the full size is like 8 oz and the 4 oz set isn’t that much smaller .. wish i had more 10 cvs q’s lol

  31. Anonymous says:

I got two but at my cvs they where $6.29, still .30 cents is a good deal. Just curious did anyone get a $5 off $15 at the machine also? I did. I’m so happy.

    • Lacey says:

I went to 1 cvs and they also had it for 6.29. Went 5 miles down the road to another cvs and theirs was 5.99. Doesn’t make since

  32. Strawberry_nd says:

I got 1 …yay! But BOTH my CVS’s had bare shelves where this item is supposed to be…booo.

    • kendra says:

I got a free coupon too..they were out at my store also so they substituted a different kind that was the same price for me! you should try it :)

      • Strawberry_nd says:

When looking for the isle the Cortaid was on I asked a manager, she knew rite away that they were out. Others probably have gotten the Q and asked as well. Wish SHE would have offered to substitute.

        • Anonymous says:

My manager lets us use those coupons the following week if they ran out of stock. I would ask right then and there if they will accept the expired coupon next week when they get more in

          • Strawberry_nd says:

I talked to a diff manager and she was totally cool with substituting the CVS creme instead of Cortaid. I also grabbed a box of CVS bandages and got $3 eb with the CVS First Aid deal. Yay!

  33. Anonymous says:

My dad and I both got one I was happy! (:

  34. renee says:

    I did get one :-)
