The Walmarts where I live are completely unworkable when it comes to couponing. I have seen several ladies literally leave in tears with nothing to show for it. I try to avoid that place at all costs. And calling corporate does nothing around here. Apparently walmart makes so much money they can afford to lose the business from all the couponers in the area.

I have no clue where to put this at but, Man, am I so p’od at Wal-Mart. I decided to price match 6 of my items (Zest, Lady Speed Stick, and Colgate). I had coupons for these products. She scans the coupons & wouldn’t go through telling me that they don’t do that (which is total bologna). I wasn’t going to hold up the line anymore by getting the manager or whatever so I told her to take them off. I go for the rest of my stuff that’s on the conveyor belt that I had coupons for. (7 Curad Hydrogen Peroxide & 3 Curad Bandages) I had 10 50 cents off ANY curad Product. She scans three of them, which were fine, goes for the fourth one & it wouldn’t allow it. She said it only goes for bandages & another cashier said that also. (Total crap, again)
Any suggestions on what I should do? Call up Wal-mart? Customer Service? Complain to the manager? Etc?

Yes. :) All of those things. I would speak with the manager first, then call corporate if they are uncooperative. They are usually pretty responsive.

I sent an email through their website after my experience the other day.  Of course, there’s been no response.

In my experience, they will contact the store directly and have the store manager follow up with you. I hope you hear from them soon!

        Okay, Thank you :)
I was really aggravated with them. I know they price match & take coupons so I have no clue as to why it was messing up. I’ve seen people price match & use coupons towards those products. I was pretty upset.

I just returned from local Walmart. Some of my coupons would not scan, and the cashier said that they are no longer allowed to enter them manually.  In all, 13 of my coupons would not scan and were not accepted.  At least seven of them were printed from Walmart’s website (including White Cloud, which is sold exclusively at Walmart).  Has anyone else experienced this?

I have had similar problems at walmart and have stopped shopping there except for an ocasional drug store item that is better priced there, they have gotten so RUDE at walmart it is NOT worth the hassel!

    • Kayla says:

The problem with Wal-Mart (I say this as a cashier who has worked at two separate ones), that training is minimal for cashiers. They’ll learn the basics, but the rest is “learn as you go”. It usually works out okay except for when it comes for more complicated things like coupons or WIC – then what each cashier “learned” will be different. Your best bet is to print a physical copy of the coupon policy as well as try again a different day. For the most part (at most stores, but not all), different cashiers and different managers will have different opinions on what coupons they will/won’t take. For example, at my Wal-Mart, one cashier refused to take internet coupons while another would take them but only if they scanned correctly – if they wouldn’t scan through the register, she wouldn’t enter them manually. Yet another would enter them manually if they wouldn’t scan but only after reading the entire coupon thoroughly. It’s really a pain, but if the deal is there and you get to know which cashiers knows their stuff, it’s worth it.

Bummer inserts for our area this week. I only cut out two coupons that I may not even use. Hopefully Smart Source and Red Plum will have new coupons on line later today or tomorrow.

  6. Samantha says:

Does anyone know if there is there a circular for this price or a similar price? I know my Walmart won’t have a price even close to this. They are usually about 2-3 dollars more than everywhere else and they don’t match unless you physically have a circular with you.

    • Stefany says:

Walmarts policy clearly states you do Not have to have the ad with you, provided the pricematch is within a 50 mile radius.

      • Couponcrazy says:

where do you get the 50 miles stuff . our walmart told me it is for  local area.. more like 5 miles from the examples they said

    • Anonymous says:

The policy said you don’t have to have the ad…print the policy and show them.

  7. The speed stick is on sale this week at Meijer stores for $2.. i don’t know about everyone else but .18 cents is .18 cents!
