I just left from Target and the cashier there informed me that I could only use 4 coupons per visit, and can only do 1 transaction. She advise me that its in their target coupon policy. Has anyone else had this problem?? I was just there 2 days ago and used more than 4 coupons in 1 transaction.

    • Anonymous says:

Target revised their coupon policy last month.  KCL posted an update on it.  They now limit 4 like coupons per shopping trip.

Thank you SO MUCH KCL for informing us about the Dove coupons!!!  I’m a bar of soap kind of gal and it’s been so hard to find any Dove or Caress for 50cent a bar or cheaper.  I have 5 computers in my house and made sure I printed my two coupons from each computer.  The first Walgreens I went to this morning (Ashlan/Cornelia – Fresno, CA) I had no problems, I asked if I could do two separate transactions, since you can only use two coupons per transaction and the cashier in the beauty section allowed me (Deby – she is the best!!!  The only Walgreens employee I like to deal with in Fresno so far!)  So I decided to try another Walgreens (First/Bullard – Fresno, CA) and the elderly lady in the beauty section would not let me use the coupon because the bar of soap was not listed in the pictures, I kept my cool and told her that it says ANY DOVE PRODUCT, she wouldn’t let me use my coupons, so I left empty handed.  Then I went to another Walgreens, they only had four bars left, so I grabbed a Caress since I needed five items for the $1/bar promo.  Mind you none of the coupons scanned at any of the three locations I visited today, they had to be manually inputted, so the cashier at the Ashlan/Fresno location had an issue and a male manager was nearby and he walked her through it and I was able to make my purchase.  I have four more coupons to use and would like to use them before the sale ends today, I just need to work my nerve to go to Walgreens.  I HATE the Walgreens by my house (Shields/Brawley), haven’t been there in forever, need to try…to be continued LOL

Attention SoCal people! The Cvs Candy deal with starburst/skittles 4 for 2 dollars well if you go to your local Circle K they have coupons for $1 off any starburst or skittles brand. There is no limit to how many you can buy. I’ve already purchased a bunch of them. The coupons are located on this candy display

  4. Satin Scott says:

I know this may be too much to ask and you two lovely ladies do so much for us already by providing excellent information…..but is there anyway in the future you can implement showing whether or not you roll the rewards you receive on each transaction at the drugstores or do you just pay a big out of pocket and save all them up or maybe did you use previous rewards to not have a big out of pocket? I cant seem to tell in your scenarios. I think it would be very helpful to show that. Also showing the actual total out of pocket received instead of just showing the total cost (price – coupons and rewards)? Maybe show them separately? I think savings amount is great and all, but I think the out of pocket expense is equally as important (if not more). I think its awesome to have a butt load of instore credit, but my budget/bank account don’t care if I have those rewards at that moment lol. the cost might have been $3 when you spend $53 out of pocket to get $50 worth of rewards/in-store credit.

I was not lucky the deal on the h&s I didn’t get the 9.49 off. The cashier deducted 2.99 off. I was so pissed.

    • Anonymous says:

It seems some registers are automatically scanning the coupon for its full potential value of $9.49, while others have to manually enter a price for the coupon.  I can understand if they had to do it manually and did not give you the $9.49 which is more than the purchase price, but imo you should have at least gotten the full purchase price of $5.99 for the coupon.  There has been discussion here about whether they should give the full price or the 50% off price value for the coupons.  I think someone called corporate and was advised full price credit was correct.  You can either return the item, call corporate, or call the manager of your store to see if an adjustment can be made.

  6. Debcaraballo says:

Starting looking earlier in the week and again throughout the week:  The Haribo coupon isn’t available.  Also, couldn’t find the Target $1/2 Pasta and Sauce. Also, couldn’t find the Target Planters coupon. Also, couldn’t find the Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging Tape ( Lastly, the Neosporin Essentials is only a $2 coupon – not $3 coupon.  What zip code are you using?

    • Anonymous says:

re: Neosporin: I had a $3.00 coupon for the Essentials that I received when I did a rebate a several weeks ago–it came in with the rebate check.

  7. Mariepelton says:

Also, I can’t find the Target coupon for Hydrogen Peroxide…This is the second coupon that I could not locate. can u help?

    • Anonymous says:

I clicked on the link given above in the Target scenario. It is under health coupons I believe.  It’s a 75 cent coupon on first aid items (up and up) not specifically for Hydrogen Peroxide.

WALMART: Bought 2 Ivory Bar Soap, 3 ct, $1.24
Used one $1.00/1 Ivory or Safeguard Personal Cleansing Product from PG 7/1
    Paid $0.48
How does THAT work? Wouldn’t there need to be 2 coupons for $1/1 to get the total to $ .48?

  9. question?   when i look at coupons online, how do i know if its a cvs only coupon?   it seems to mee that they all the same coupons you find at  i remember not to long ago kcl posted a deal for the trial size aquafresh extreme toothpaste using the cvs coupon and manufacturer coupon.

  10. Might want to keep your eyes out for a great deal at Walmart. I was at Walmart today (Trussville, AL) and they had a Gillette Gold Pack on clearance for $7. It has a fusion razor, full size bodywash, deodorant, shaving cream, and cooling lotion in it. I wasnt sure if it would work but I had the $3 off a Gillette razor from the last PG and it scanned fine. I got the entire kit for $4!! Check your Walmart next time your there and see if they have it on clearance!!

Great Job KCL! I am working to get to this kind of shopping trip. Love it!

Had a nice day at CVS

    Purchased 2 Listerine Zero Mouthwash 1L  3.99
    1 Trident Vitality-1.00
    1 Orbit Mint Gum- 1.37
Used 3.00/2 Listerine Zero Exp 7/14
    Used 8.00EB
    Total was .01+.93 tax=.95 OOP

    Got $2EB back!

  12. Vinnysmom2001 says:

I almost go lucky too. One lady started checking me out then asked another to take over while she looked for something. She scanned my coupons and the 9.49 came off. I got really excited cause I wasnt expecting that. The first lady came back ( think she was a manager) and saw how low it was and she was like she must have done somethinr wrong and took my coupons off and then rerung them and keyed in the 1/2 off amount:(

    • tammy grayson says:

I went to CVS today and right off i use the red coupon box and a $6.00 dollar ex-buck shot out…so happy cuz needed tissue paper so i got 12 rolls of double scott tissue and had a 75/1 coupon so i paid .83cents…then thought i think i will try the head and shoulders deal and got 4 problems…just depends on casher and store:)))

      • Guest16 says:

The total for 2 H&S is $8.99 but the coupon automatically deducts $9.49. Does this mean the extra 50 cents gets absorbed by other items in your basket?

What if I only want to buy the shampoo. Will it beep since my total is just $8.99?

        • Anonymous says:

It won’t beep, but it will prompt the cashier to adjust the coupon amount to $8.99.  If the total of the purchase exceeds the $9.49 max, the coupon will scan through and take off the amount automatically.  It will depend on whether the cashier notices.

  14. Connie says:

The Dove deal didn’t work for me at walgreens, I guess because it is a travel size. They wouldn’t even push it through. Oh well. I had problems at cvs trying to do the head and shoulders deal, the cashier voided the $9.49 that automatically came off and typed in $3, I also had 1/$1 off head and shoulders to put towards the one I was “buying” and she said NO! The bogo counts for both bottles and only $3 off. So I said nevermind, went to another cvs and got my $9.49 plus the $1 off. I definitly wrote that store an email too about how rude that cashier was. And cvs was out of purex, so I price matched it to walmart and got my deal there.

  15. becky says:

I just wanted you to know that the Spectracide (bug stop) rebate does not work on the spray cans that I heard would be free after rebate.  I got my letter stating wrong upc code.

    • Anonymous says:

I have my rebate here and ready to go.  Sorry to hear that it does not work on the spray cans because that is exactly what I purchased. The only exclusions listed on the form are for Wasp & Hornet killer, tank sprayers, and backpack sprayers. Is it possible that you purchased the wasp & hornet spray? I purchased general bug spray and if the rebate does not work, I will write/call them.  Although 88 cents is a great deal, it seems that if it is not excluded, it should be covered in the rebate, epecially having to buy 3 products to receive only $4.00.  In case you did not keep a copy of your form, there is a and a phone # 1-888-641-4125 if you would like further explanation.

  16. Anonymous says:

does the nail polish count towards the rebate or does it have to be just beauty tools?

  17. Lshill81 says:

Where did you find the organic $.75 coupon? I used the link but didnt see it! Thanks

  18. Smbridges says:

Just an FYI for anyone who still has their .50/2 coupon for Starburst or Skittles, Kroger has these on sale for .50 cent which the coupon doubles at my Kroger making them FREE!

  19. free528 says:

for the revlon you can submit for single check rebate and it’s double mm. i submited mine and got $8 in the rebate. it take a few weeks for then to mail it to you…

    • Lorenchristene says:

But if you want to do the rebate, you have to buy 2 revlon tools regularly priced above $5. Makes for an excellent deal this week!

      • free528 says:

any revlon $5 or over. limit 2 rebates. and i did 2 transactions where i got the nail polish and the emery bords. on both transactions. so it was over $5 according to the receipts i paid way less then $ and going to get back $8 in rebate

  20. Is the Dove deal going to work? Isn’t it considered trial size?

    • Anonymous says:

mine almost didnt work at walgreens.  the cashier said this is trial size and I said no trial size is 1 oz and he just keyed it in.  He didnt seem to care but I am not going to try the deal again I am sure I will be told no.  It did go through on its own so I am not up to defend it again =( I’ll save my other 2 coupons for another dove item another week I guess

      • Emma says:

Walgreen tried to give me issues as well. The cashier did her best and was friendly yet not attentive. I would prefer to spend my dollars at CVS. Last year I was on a tighter budget and coupons were a way to make ends meet. As a result I was willing to take the time to go through Walgreens hoops.

This year things are a bit better and I will vote with my wallet. CVS always made me feel valued even when I spent more with coupons than cash. My Walgreens was always low on stock and didn’t make me feel valued.

For those who enjoy Walgreens, you now have one less couponer to beat to those sparse shelves.

    • Beckyannj says:

I think I’ll save my Dove coupons for Target since people are having so much trouble with Walgreens. Target has 4 packs of Dove on sale this week for $4. Since the coupon says buy 2, I’ll get 2 of the 4 packs for $8 and then minus the $3 in coupons it’ll be $5 making the soap $0.62 a bar. The Walgreens deal would be $0.40 a bar, but I never have any problems at Target.

    • Anonymous says:

The Walgreens I went to took the coupon and the manager said it was a single bar not a trial size.  I think the trial sizes are smaller.

  21. Noemi says:

How was the Revlon deal at rite aid a moneymaker? You spend $10 and get $4 back and the coupons take another $4 off…is there a rebate you are submitting for this transaction?

  22. Anonymous says:

No chocolate?! Sweet deals nevertheless :)
Were the Dove bars normally $1.25 or did you buy 5?

  23. Momonabudget says:

Can you please explain how you got both Head and shoulders for free when it was Bogo 1/2 off not Bogo free?

  24. JDAZ says:

Lucky the dove deal went through for you! I tried it at Walmart and they wouldn’t accept it, neither will Walgreens.. They said it was trial size, and I even BOUGHT a trial size example at walmart to show walgreens but they wouldn’t accept it still.. :(

  25. Betsync2002 says:

hello.. i’m really confuse? can you explain for me how it work?.  buy one get one  50%  and then you used coupon buy one get one free  final pay nothing.  i never use coupon before.
