  1. Does anyone remember what circular this was in? Is it still valid?

  2. Anonymous says:

Is this offer still going on, or did it end on Saturday 7/14?

    • Anonymous says:

You can still get the free wipes when you buy the toilet paper, but the free paper towels deal is no longer valid.

  3. Dturner2 says:

I tried this yesterday at my Kmart. The cashier didn’t know anything about the free wipes or paper towels. They paper towels automatically came off they manager told me I would have to buy a 3rd pack of Cottonelle to get the wipes for free. So I didn’t get any wipes.  So how do you get 2 free wipes.

    • Anonymous says:

Sorry to hear that. Your manager was wrong. The free paper towels is a weekly deal and the free toilet paper is a monthly deal. So, with 2 toilet paper packs you could have gotten 2 free wipes and 1 free paper towels. They will ring up automatically. I’ve learned not to listen to managers or cashiers. Everytime they say something won’t work, it does.

      • Dturner2 says:

The thing is the wipes didnt ring up free only the paper towels. I thought about emailing corporate but last time I did that corporate sent me a generic answer that didn’t answer the question or was even related to it.

        • Anonymous says:

That is so strange!  The free wipes are a month-long deal.  Are you sure you bought the 18 double rolls?

          • Dturner2 says:

yes I showed her the ad even. They were both confused about it.I got two of the 18 double rolls.

  4. Anonymous says:

I did this trip today and paid $14.61 on everything I bought!!! I also got 2 of the Cottonelle moist wipes free.

    • Daisy245 says:

Can you please tell me what you bought? I would really liek to try this deal tomorrow. BTW, great job!

    • Whovier88 says:

how did you pay $14.61? did you get the exact items in the scenario?

      • Anonymous says:

I had a $5 gift card from last year that i never used, which brought my total down. And yes I did get the items that Elizarae posted up above.

    • Anonymous says:

I just saw your brag! Awesome job. You’re so lucky you were able to get 2 free wipes! When I tried it at my store, only 1 rang up free :(

      • Anonymous says:

Thanks!!! I was very pleased! And thanks to you for posting your trip….helped me with mine :) The store associates and the manger didnt even know about the free deals!! So I am glad I tried it and didnt take their word for it.

  5. Tonij says:

I went to Kmart and they honored the misprint in the ad about Huggies big pack diapers. I got 2 boxes of Huggies, 2 cottonelle toilet paper 18 pk, 2 wipes free, free Capri suns, and viva paper towels(that I’m returning bc they weren’t free) and I paid $21.17!!!!!!!

    • Anonymous says:

How were the Viva paper towels not free?  Did you get the 2-pack?

      • Tonij says:

Yes the 2 pack. Mgr gave me almost free diapers lol but said didn’t qualify for paper towels. I’ll just return and take my $4 back. I think I got a great deal anyway.

        • Tonij says:

I take it back. It was at bottom of receipt. I did get viva free. I also went back second time and purchased 2 Huggies big packs only. Used 2qs. They took off $5 instantly and I paid $3.90 total! Deal of the year!!

  6. ahhhhhh i cant find my silk shaaving cream q’s!!! what insert were they in?

  7. Mommy23girls says:

Shouldn’t you get (2) Cottonelle Wipes for Free with this deal?
In the Kmart Saving Guide it says:
Buy 1 Cottonele 18 Double roll for 9.99 Get Free 42ct. Wipe Tub with purchase.
It does not say anywhere that its one per transaction.
    So……
    Buy 2 Cottonelle Double Rolls
Get Free (1) 2pk Viva Paper Towels
Get Free (2) Cottonelle Wipes 42ct.

    • Anonymous says:

It doesn’t say that, but it only allows 1 per transaction, at least at my store.  I tried to buy 2 and it only rang up 1 for free.

      • JZ says:

I was thinking the same thing (about getting two since I’m buying two toilet paper packs) so it’s a good thing I read this before I went down there, I would have had an issue at the register. haha!

      • JZ says:

The register never rang up ANY for free when we went, so when we showed the cashier the ad, he adjusted it for us… so we bought two toilet paper packs and we got two tubs of wipes and one pack of paper towels for free :]

        • Anonymous says:

Oh wow, that’s weird they didn’t ring up free.  Glad they were able to fix it for you!

    • Jmakenna235 says:

I was able to get two, and actually they did not carry the 42 ct so they had to replace it with a 51 ct. It was scott naturals wipes, which I prefer the cottonelle, but for 10 more wipes per carton, I didn’t make a fuss :) Nowhere does it say onw per transaction

  8. Kutabays says:

So where does it saw your get the Viva for free? If I go and they put up a fight I want to be able to show them something to prove I am not BSing them

  9. Jacob Ratliff says:

It told me that the site expired! :-( I’ll try to print some from another computer.

  10. Deanna151975 says:

is this like right now or does it start sunday

    • Anonymous says:

The Free Viva paper towels wyb 2 Cottonelle ends tomorrow 7/14. But the Cottonelle 18 double rolls is on sale for $9.99 plus free moist wipes thru the end of the month.

  11. Elizarae – how do you get the free items to be part of your total before they are counted as free.  Do you wait to give your card til the end after the coupons?  I have a kmart about 20 min away but I never think of going there for couponing.  Thanks for your post!

    • Anonymous says:

You should never count the free items as part of your total to get to $25.  In my scenario, the only items counting toward the $25 are the (2) Cottonelle toilet paper packs ($9.99 each = $19.98), (2) Pure Silk shaving creams (2 for $3) and the Oscar Meyer grilled chicken strips ($2.99).  All the other items are free items, so I don’t count those.  You CAN still use coupons on the free items though, which makes for even more savings!

      • JZ says:

do they have all the ads available in stores? I live about 30 minutes from my closest kmart and not even the local paper puts the kmart ad inside on sundays. :/

        • Anonymous says:

They SHOULD have them, but sometimes they run out.  You can view them online also under New Local Ad.  If you’re looking for the in-ad coupon for the FREE Capri-Sun, you can go to that same page and under the Departments drop-down menu, click on See All Offers and there should be a red bar in the middle of the page that you can click on to print the coupon.  Hope that helps!

      • Jesika says:

so you can use the $1 off coupon from Capri-Sun to get an even better deal?

        • Anonymous says:

I wasn’t aware that there was a $1 off Capri-Sun coupon out there, but yes, you could use this if your store allows you to.  Some stores don’t allow manufacturer coupons with store coupons.

  12. you can also get two boxes of huggies diapers for $6.98!!! in the summer savings ad (deals good through july 30th) on pg 13 it says Huggies Big Pak (boxes) are on sale for $5.99 and above it, it says “members save $5 with in-ad coupon”. Well i looked all over to find this coupon but didn’t see such a thing so I asked customer service and they couldn’t find it. The manager was talking on the phone with someone and I heard her say “well I am just going to enter it manually because this lady has been waiting for like 30 minutes”. So she did that for me and I also had a $2 coupon Huggies sent me so I got two boxes of Huggies for 4.98!! My friend tried this and said they were mad that they had to do it but did it for her because the ad said so. I honestly think the 5.99 is a misprint or typo or something because even the bags are never on sale for that much!!

    • Anonymous says:

This is a misprint – most stores have ad-redactions posted on the shelves and/or at the registers.

      • JZ says:

but if they didn’t post retractions, should I try for the deal? I have a baby on the way due on August 17th and I could use all the diapers I can get :]

        • Anonymous says:

It seems that some people are having luck when they call corporate, so I’d say it’s worth a shot!

          • JZ says:

Here’s an update on the diaper situation… My husband and I went to Kmart yesterday to do our trip that I planned and he picked up two of the smallest size diapers they had (the snug and dry Huggies that they had pictured in the ad) and brought them to the register with two $1.50 coupons that I had left over from a couple of weeks ago. The cashier adjusted the price down to $5.99 and when he scanned my SYWR card (paper haha) it took $5 off, and we only paid like $4 and change for both boxes! He didn’t even go to a manager, he just looked at what the ad said and adjusted it for us. My husband was honest with the kid and said “there’s a sign over there that said that it was a mistake, but we kinda came here mostly for these since it was a good deal.” So, success, no questions asked. haha my little man will have a diapered bum after all, even if we have to hold onto the diapers for a few months before he will be able to use them. :]

Also, Kmart threw a wrench into the plans. I never got the RP coupon for shaving cream (I cried a little inside) so I substituted with Kleenex which they had for B1G1 free and I had two $.50/3 coupons that doubled to $1. That was all good, we ended up paying like $3.97 for six boxes of tissues. The wrench: they had no more grilled chicken in stock, so no free pasta and sauce for us. :[ boo. But thank you for all your help Elizarae! You're the best :]

            • Anonymous says:

Awesome!  I’m glad you were able to get the diaper deal!  That is a great deal on Kleenex that you got!  Free shaving cream will definitely come around again. :)

        • Anonymous says:

          Congrats btw :)

          • JZ says:

thank you! if I can get the deal on the diapers too, I’ll have made out pretty well with the $0.49 wipes at Walgreens! haha

    • Lewbarbc5 says:

I did this deal to but didnt try to use mc on top cause I was getting them so cheap I thought about it though. I did the deal twice but felt bad about making them honor that price. I know it was there mistake but still felt guilty. If anyone else has has a opnion let me know what u think. Thanks  (btw dont feel bad about using mc I just didnt think u could with the wording on the bottom of the flyer)

    • Couponshayla says:

Where can I find that ad?

    • Anonymous says:

Went to my local store, and they had a sign on the shelf correcting the error in the ad.  :-(  I’m glad that someone was able to take advantage of the deal before their store caught it, however.  :-)

  13. Tristansmommy120910 says:

Might as well spend a extra $5 on something you need so your $1 coupons double to $2 saving you $4 total.

  14. Anonymous says:

I commented on the Kmart weekly deals list earlier this week that I stacked these 2 deals together, so it definitely works.  It’s the Double Rolls that are part of the promo, I don’t think Kmart sells the Mega Rolls.
Additionally, you can use a $0.50/1 Cottonelle moist wipes (found at the same link as the toilet paper coupon) AND $0.50/1 Viva Paper Towels 2-pack or larger printable (found on the Viva site) on the free items for a moneymaker!  If you double to coupons, it makes for a better deal.  Here’s an idea:
Buy (2) Cottonelle Bath Tissue, 1 Double Rolls $9.99 each
Buy (1) Cottonelle Moist Wipes 42-ct. FREE wyb Cottonelle Bath Tissue
Buy (1) Viva Big Rolls, 2-pack FREE wyb Cottonelle Bath Tissue
Buy (2) Pure Silk Shaving Cream 2/$3
Buy (1) Oscar Meyer Grilled Chicken Strips $2.99
Buy (1) Ragu Pasta Sauce FREE wyb Oscar Meyer Grilled Chicken Strips
Buy (1) Barilla Pasta FREE wyb Oscar Meyer Grilled Chicken Strips
Buy (1) Capri-Sun FREE wyb $25 in grocery, health and/or beauty
Total before coupons: $25.97 (not counting FREE items)
Use in-ad coupon for FREE Capri-Sun
Use (2) $1/1 Cottonelle Bath Tissue printable (will double to $4 off)
Use (2) $0.80/1 Pure Silk Shaving Cream from 7/8 inserts (will double to $3 off because Kmart does not give overage)
Use (1) $0.50/1 Cottonelle moist wipes printable (will double to $1 off)
Use (1) $0.50/1 Viva Paper Towels 2-pack or larger printable
Final Price: $17.47 or $8.74 per pack of toilet paper, which is CHEAPER than the scenario in the post PLUS you get free moist wipes, paper towels, shaving cream, chicken, pasta sauce, pasta and Capri-sun!

    • Inkydot says:

      wow u are awesome thanks!!!

    • Bkane101 says:

Do the free items come off automatically when you use your card or did you have to tell them and they manually did this? I don’t normally shop at Kmart and have never used coupons there but this sounds like such a good deal & I’d like to try it.  We don’t have a lot of couponers where I live & I always have the hardest time using them at Walmart so I’m leary of trying it at Kmart.

      • Anonymous says:

The free items will come off automatically.  Be sure to scan your SYWR card first thing, then hand over your coupons.

    • LindaHargens says:

That is so awesome you just did all the work for us.  Thank you.  I am printing coupons now then heading to Kmart.  I still have a bunch of points from the ZZZquil deal that I can use towards this.

      • LindaHargens says:

Darn cottonelle coupons are gone.  There is a cottonelle 0.50 coupon and 0.25 viva in 7/8ss

    • Anonymous says:

Hi, where are the cottonelle coupons from?  I just tried to find them and can’t…I was able to find a Target coupon for $1 off the 12 pack UltraCare, and a $1.50 off when you buy a 12 pack or larger AND the wipes..please help.  Thanks!

      • Anonymous says:

        Nevermind, I found them and they’re gone… :(

      • Anonymous says:

I used the $1.50 off tp and wipes coupon when I did my trip earlier in the week because the $1/1 coupon wasn’t out yet.  Should still be a great deal.  You can use a $0.50/1 Cottonelle tp coupon from the 7/8 inserts for your 2nd pack of tp.

    • Anonymous says:

The Kmart website has coupons for 3 different items free when you buy $25. Can you use all 3, or do you have to choose one?

      • Anonymous says:

Check the “valid” dates on them.  Kmart has 1 free item per week, so this week it is the Capri-Sun.  You can print the other coupons, but they will only be valid on other weeks.

        • Anonymous says:

Thanks! I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this will go smoothly tonight! The last time I tried to do a big deal at Kmart it was a disaster and I was there for about 2 hours!l

      • JZ says:

you can only pick one thing that you want to get for free. you’d have to cut out/print the coupon and give it to them when you check out, and on the coupon it says that it can’t be combined.

    • Daisy245 says:

Will K marrt still double the $1.00 off Cotonelle cpoupon although it says on the top of the coupons “DO NOT DOUBLE”?

      • Anonymous says:

Yes, the cashier might give you a hard time and tell you it won’t double, but their computer should do it automatically.

      • Hotpinkelephant25 says:

My store wouldn’t double my mine. In fact, the coupons wouldn’t even scan. Which is weird because I used one at Albertson’s on Sunday. What a waste of time! This reaffirms my hate for Kmart.

    • Tucknroll77 says:

      Oooooo…..I’m so trying this today.

    • tucknroll77 says:

I did this deal exactly how you posted it earlier tonight. They only had 1 package of wipes & the Ragu is 7.5 months past its expiration but I didn’t realize that until after I came home & was looking through everything. My OOP was exactly what you posted $8.74. Killer deal!! Now I just need to exchange the Ragu.

    • Jesika says:

the toilet paper coupon says no doubling tho, but kmart still did it?

      • Anonymous says:

Yes, the manufacturer is just saying that they will not pay if the store chooses to double the coupon.  If the store wants to double a coupon, it’s their prerogative.  The manufacturer is just trying to protect themselves from stores that try to get reimbursed for double the value of the coupon (yes, stores actually try to do that. lol)

  15. how many rolls in a mega pk

  16. Anonymous says:

how many sf is the 18 ct mega rolls?  Just wanting to see if this or Wags is the better deal

    • Anonymous says:

This is a way better deal than Walgreens because it’s slightly less than $0.25 per roll PLUS you get free wipes and paper towels!  If you do the scenario I just posted in my comment, it comes out EVEN CHEAPER and you get free pasta, pasta sauce, chicken, shaving cream and Capri-Sun :)

    • the deal at walgreens makes them 25 cents per roll

      • Anonymous says:

The Walgreens deal only has single rolls, these are double rolls, so it comes out to a little less than $0.25 per roll, PLUS you get free wipes and paper towels :)
