I am going to comment on this because I live in Aurora, Colorado.  I live less than 10 minutes from the cinema.  I drove by there that day to see what was showing.  I am not offended by this post.  I will admit that I am not eager to attend a movie at the moment.  However, don’t let what this individual did prevent you from doing what you enjoy.  Then he wins and that is not what we want.  You should enjoy your life and continue to remember the victims in your thoughts.

Hi Reders8! That’s a great deal. Does it apply to 3-D and IMAX 3-D too?

      • Reders8 says:

        not sure

Oh my gosh..do you know if this is at all Regal Cinemas? I have one 10 min away and have never heard of such a deal..that’s great!

Considering what’s just happened in Colorado, I find this post… I dont know… slightly offensive. It’s tacky.

    • Carlota321 says:

Crazy people can go crazy anywhere not just at the movies. This is not offensive at all.

I’m sure people will disagree with me and that’s fine. I certainly dont mean to sound
like I “give in to fear” but I mean… come on.

        In my opinion, it’s the
same as if KCL would have put out airline ticket deals in the
2-3 days after 9-11. This was an American committing a terrorist attack
        in a movie
theater and now they’re hocking cheap movie tickets? Really? (And I have a
feeling the “Half Off Depot” link is tied to somehow make the poster receive perks if
they get people to click through their links). 60 people were injured, a 6 year old was shot and killed along with 11 other people, people lost their ability to walk again, etc. Lets at least morn them for a bit before we get so caught up in our own lives as to save some cash on movie tickets.

        To me, it’s
        tactless.

i live 30 minutes from that theater and i am getting sick of people saying OMG i cant go to the movies.  today on the way out of work i yelled at the tv and screamed ” shut your piehole!”  if my bf would  not have had to work on sunday we would have gone to see that movie. If people wanna live in their homes (ummm people can and will break in there too) be my guest.  I feel for those people trust me.  Just like Columbine which is about 20 minutes from me, however, I find it hard to believe that any of those that died would want us to crawl in a ball and live there.  Also the theaters are going to have to do something to get people in. GIMME CHEAP movie tickets.  now for my question.   anyone know if these are good for IMAX or IMAX 3d

I agree. Anything and everything we do or don’t do has the potential to cause us harm. I choose to live my life without the chains of fear while doing everyday actions. DH and I kept our plans — dinner and Batman for date night on Saturday. I mourn for the tragic losses, pray for the families and for the safety of my own family, then I get up and make the best of it.

I don’ think it’s tacky at all thanks for sharing .. If you don’t go to the movies then the attacker wins .. this site posts coupons its almost like saying they shouldnt post a hot dog coupon because kids choke and die on them alot.  or they shouldnt post a cookie coupon because people are going to get fat etc..coupon is a coupon..

      • Sharon says:

Yeah. I guess I just find massacres and mass slaughters of human beings different then hot dogs. To each their own!

I dont feel it should never be posted…  but a respectful morning period would have been classy and tactful.

I guess you better skip the Target ad that shows an Aurora Colorado exit sign on its TomTom Gps.
