I HAD TO GO OUT OF TOWN TO THE RITE AID CLOSEST TO ME. WHEN I GOT THERE I FOUND SCOTCH TAPE WAS ON SALE FOR $1.99, NOT B1G1. SO TAPE COST ME $.99 AFTER UP REWARDS. THIS HAPPENS SO MANY TIMES TO ME. WE HAVE NEVER HAD DOUBLE COUPONS AT OUR SAFEWAY EITHER. WHICH BY THE WAY IS IN THE NEXT TOWN, ALSO.

Store is out, so I’m guessing since this is unadvertised we couldn’t get a rain check? Does anyone know?

Varies store to store. My Rite Aid had the Scotch Magic tape on sale for $1.99 each with a $1 +UP, but not B1G1.

  4. The 3M Scotch Tapes and Mailing Supplies are advertised in my SJersey Rite Aid ad on page 9. It says “Buy One Get Second One FREE” of equal or lesser value plus applicable sales tax. Items offered at regular retail. WITH WELLNESS+ CARD. It doesn’t mention anything about a +UP Reward. It is on pg. 9 on the left hand side right above the ad for 9-Lives cat food.

    • The +Up Reward on the tape is a monthly +Up Reward, and so it probably wouldn’t show up in the weekly ad. If you go to the store, lift up the Buy One Get One Free tag, and see if underneath it is the tag for the $1.00 +Up Reward.

It shows on sale for $1.99 and $1 up but not buy 1 get one free. =(

My store showed the same thing.  The Rite Aid brand tape was on sale BOGO, but not the Scotch brand.  I wonder if this might be a regional sale?

    • Kriggs333 says:

      same in eastern Wa

    • PV Mom says:

Same thing in Southern Cali!!  Also, they had tons of the auto cloths but they were full price, not on sale.  What a waste of time that trip was!!!

PV Mom – what part of Southern California are you in?  My store out here in  Eastern Riverside County had the cloths at full price also.  They also haven’t had many of the clearance items mentioned on here lately.  I’m hoping they do go on clearance when they get ready to move into their new store.

this is not a good deal, dollar store has tape rolls (holds just the same, just different brand) i think 9 rolls pek pk for just $1 and i have bigger metal scotch dispenser so it works great. I use dollar tree tape every single day its work great so 0.25 per roll its not that good for me :(

    • I think that whether or not the Dollar Tree tape is a better deal than the Scotch at Rite Aid depends on how much tape you are getting for the dollar. The Scotch roll has 650 inches (18 yrd.) on 1 roll.

i have a coupon for $2 off of any 4 Scotch, Command, or Post It products….so does that make this a $3 MM???
    Buy four @ BOGO $2.49 = $5
    $5-$4 Manf. Q leaves my total at $1 and get 4 $1 =UPs?

    • Canes1999 says:

      i wish i had that coupon :(

      • Couponqueencarly says:

it popped up on coupons.com a couple weeks ago, along with $3/5 and $1/3.  I used it on some kids’ scissors today to get them for .40 each- i am a nanny and we are always misplacing our scissors when we do crafts!

I think you would have to get 8 because you aren’t allowed to use coupons on free items at Rite Aid.  I could be wrong.

    • Barb1222 is correct. You cannot use a coupon on a free item at Rite Aid.

      • Couponqueencarly says:

ah thanks, it’s been a while since I’ve visited RA because we have two in my town and each one handles coupons completely differently so when I started out I just kept avoiding them to cut out on confusion!

If I purchase four (2 free) would I get 4 $1.00 rewards? I know it says a limit of 4 I wanted to double check (I didnt know about the monthly reward)!
