Let’s Shop: Week of 7/22 Results

Have you ever come home from the store to find hot deals that you missed because they weren’t in the weekly ad? (Mental slap on the forehead time!) I’m glad that I was paying attention when I was out, because there were a bunch of unadvertised deals at Rite Aid that were cheap or free, even without a coupon! Im really new at this and pulling my hair … How do i get coupons for the poultry and meat?

  2. Shaas234 says:

Have a question on Wal-mart’s coupon policy…..will they accept target coupons that are printed from the target website??

  3. dawn says:

how can you use a walmart coupon at rite aid. Do they accept competitor coupons ???

I’ve been trying to figure out how you got the $1.02 MM on the advil from CVS? It says $1 EB WYB 1. Are they printing out $2 EB per purchase?

    • Kristen Kaye says:

I only got 1 cent MM, not $1.02. In my area the ad states $2 EBR, and yes it’s per purchase, with a limit of 2 per household with card. But it might differ in your area.

    • sully says:

no i think is a mistake. you get $1ecb for each they end up being like .50C each after $2 ecbs

      • Kristen Kaye says:

Nope it’s not, I’m looking at my circular right now, and it states exactly: Crest 3D White, Pro-Health, w/ Scope 4-4.2 oz or Pro-Health rinse 8-8.4 oz. You pay (with card) 2.99, extrabucks rewards 2.00, it’s like getting it for 0.99 after extrabucks rewards. Then, extrabucks rewards offer limit of 2 per household with card (13058371). Like I stated, different regions might have different sales or promotions. For example, CVS doesn’t allow New Jersey stores the $10 free gas card promotion.

Wow! Those are some savings! Too bad I don’t have Rita Aid or CVS where I live.. all I have is walgreens and all the cashiers are rude :(

  6. Kristen Kaye says:

I have couple of questions to ask & couldn’t find a correct place to post them. But first of all, a serving of awesome sauce should be put on their plates for those shopping trips listed above. So, I went to CVS to buy some items for school & building my lil stockpile. I bought the CrestProHealth toothpaste deal $2.99 – Q$1/1 – $2 EBR = .01MM did 2nd trans. and bought caliber index cards $1.87 with the $2 EBR. Here’s the problem, my bubbie hates crest toothpaste and I found index cards for sale $0.39 at BigLots. Will I get a refund if I return these two items? Also, can I return the index cards even if I paied in EBR & get a refund? I just hate overspending spending for something and not using a product.

    • Traci0322 says:

In my personal experience, and this may vary by store or region, but if I return an item that I have used ECBs and/or coupons to purchase they will put the refund amount (actual price paid for item plus ECBs and coupons) on a CVS gift card.

    • Anonymous says:

Yes, you may return the items. Good for you to realize you should buy only what you will use! You can always donate those freebies to shelters/homeless people too!

      • Kristen Kaye says:

Thank you for the reply. And that’s very true about donating it to others. But for the time being my bubbie & I are living on every dollar & cent. I really do thank the (KCL ladies & others that post on here), y’all helped us so much that we don’t live on ramen anymore. Now we actually get to eat great & stay fresh, lol! One of these days I’ll be able to make boxes or baskets for others.

    • Serena205 says:

You can return it and they will give you the actual price you paid, not after coupons, it will be before any coupons. Let’s say you bougth the crest at 2.99 and you used 1 off, and they gave you back 2 ebc. Well, they will give you the 2.99 plus taxes back. The only thing, you have more extra backs that you are not entitled, since they are returning the money and you kept the extra bucks. If you pay with coupons and did not give cash, they will give you a gift card.
