Rite Aid has had some amazing promotions on Revlon for the last several months, and they’re at it again! This week, use the new Video Value coupon to make money buying Revlon tweezers. With all the tweezers I’ve collected over the last several months, the Rite Aid cashiers must think I have a massive unibrow by night or kids with tons of splinters!

Rolled this coupon with the Crest toothpaste moneymaker, then rolled into the Dove shampoo and suave deo. deal for 2.48 OOP for it all, plus a $5 +up for next time.  So I made $2.52 to take all these items!  nice one!

Here’s my problem.  I’d like to do this deal and buy some of the Dawn dish washing liquid. And, I want to use my coupons.  (I DEFINITELY don’t want to buy these without coupons.)  But, I have about $17 in Up Rewards and, unless I buy more than $17, I can’t also use my coupons because it automatically applies the Up rewards first and then the total is zero and they won’t take my coupons.  How do y’all deal with this?  This is an ongoing issue for me at Rite-Aid – which is a shame because the folks in Rite-Aid are really nice here.

Is your $17 worth of Up Rewards on one reward or is it more than one that add up to $17? If they are more than one that add up to $17 and your rewards are loaded on to your card – you can log on to your Rite Aid account online and choose specific rewards to disable so that the register will only take off the rewards that you want to use for the next trip so you will not lose all $17. HTH – Any more questions about what I mean let me know!

That’s terrific!  Thanks for the great info.  There is a $15 reward and two $1 rewards.  So, I am going to use your tip and disable the $15.  Sure appreciate the help!

So disappointed! I walked into Rite Aid with my coupons for the Revlon tweezers, and the 5+Ups wyb $15 of Dove deodorant, style products, and Suave body wash, when I discovered that my Rite Aid doesn’t carry Revlon beauty tools, and they don’t have the  5/15 promotion! :( Rite Aid Value stores in the Huntsville, AL area are so disappointing! Oh well, at least I have Publix :)

My rite aid did not let me combine the coupons from their website and the one that came in the Sunday’s paper… The manager told me that they are all manufactured coupons… What do I do?????

    • Sacastil says:

+I’d try a different RA or print the coupon policy and take it to the store- A pain I know since u already went once!  You are allowed one Rite Aid coupon (Adpark is Rite Aid) AND one manufacture coupon.  Perhaps b/c of the “expiration date issue” discussed above the coupon beeped and the manager assumed incorrectly that both coupons were manufacture???  Good Luck

    • jonette corbett says:

i saw that both state “manufacture coupons” i’m going to try it though.

    • The adperk coupons do say “manufacturer” on the top BUT they are Rite Aid coupons. The barcode number starts with an RC meaning they are store coupons. So the manager was wrong.

Found this from the post on the Dove deal at Rite Aid:According to Rite Aid’s coupon policy, More than one coupon can be used on the purchase of a single item.  You may use “48” Rite Aid Valuable coupon, one “49” Rite Aid Manufacturer coupon, and one “5” Manufacturer coupon can be used on a single item.  If the in-ad coupon and video values coupon both start with the same number, you should not use both together.  The Krazy Coupon Lady
      Great explanation! Totally right!

    • I would print off a copy of Rite Aid’s coupon policy so that if you run into that issue again, you can politely show the cashier the policy. It does state that you can use both an “RC49″ Rite Aid coupon (Video Value coupon) AND a “5″ manufacturer coupon on a single item.

I signed up to with Rite Aid for video coupons but for some reason the website continues to state that a confirmation has been sent…I keep looking and nothing has been sent.  Looked in spam too.

    Anyone else having this problem?

Did this deal yesterday! Thanks KCL.

  7. Me says:

I did this deal and used the Revlon 7/29 expiry date coupon and it went thru with no problem.

  8. I just checked on the Revlon facebook page.  Corporate posted an apology for the error (coupon distributed on 7/29/12 with a 7/29/12 expiration date), stating that the coupon is supposed to be good until August 31, 2012.  Apologies are nice, but I’m not sure how that will result in stores accepting the coupon.  Maybe the expiration date is encoded correctly in the scannable portion of the coupon?  Has anyone with a “bad” coupon had any luck using it?

    • My assumption is that the coupon from SS 6/24 was supposed to be the one that expired 7/29. So the one from 7/29 is supposed to expire on 8/31. Makes sense to me. They just did it backwards on accident lol

I have been using these coupons a lot. I use 2 of the $2.00 Ad Perks coupons and get them both for better than nothing PLUS I get the $4.00 +UP. I used this deal 4 times today with no problems at all.

  10. Vickiecowles says:

whats going on with the new limitations on coupons. are they trying to stop up from stockpiling?

  11. Anonymous says:

Just got back. Did just as KCL said and it worked perfect. Paid $1.00 including tax. Used the $4.00 rewards plus the $3/2 P&G coupon to buy 2/$7 Pantene  paid $.52 and got back $2.00 rewards. Wohoo. Thanks KCL.

  12. wow i just noticed they expired the day we got them, that stinks

    • sully says:

it was a mistake revlon posted an apology on their facebook page. but any way is no good cause cashiers dont know ;0(

  13. Hanna says:

if it says cannot be used with any other coupon so how are you able to use a rite aid store coupon ?

  14. Anonymous says:

the coupon i got out this sundays paper expires 7/29/2012

  16. can we also use the $1.00 revlon tool Q that came in this past sundays paper

    • coupon kid says:

      it expired 7/29 :(

      • Strawberry_nd says:

I noticed that today too about the expiration!! Do you think it was a misprint since the paper came out the same day as the expiration? Or does Revlon really expect us to clip and run out shopping on the same day?? Luckily my CVS will accept expired coupons around 30 days. :)

        • coupon kid says:

I thought it was a misprint when I got the paper on saturday but on Sunday when I went out and bought 2 newspapers I realized that they expired that day! I was a little mad because the tools are always cheap and I wasn’t planing on going shopping that day :( hopefully rite aid will let me use the expired coupons :)

      • couponmomof5 says:

So I am not crazy! I thought I was losing it :) Too bad we can’t use them.

        • Couponmom says:

:) Yeah i’m gonna try using the expired coupon and see if they take it. If not it is fine :) It’s still a good deal :)

          • Anonymous says:

According to Revlon the Q is good till 8/31, that it was a misprint and they are aware of it BUT I DOUBT the cashiers won’t give us trouble with it even though it will scan good till that date…
