Walgreens Extreme Couponing (Week of 8/5): $5.00 or Less

Welcome to this post where we will lay out some extreme couponing deals that will cost you about $5.00 each week! First, here’s everything you need to know about shopping at Walgreens:

Walgreens allows one manufacturer coupon and one store coupon per product. You may use Walgreen’s Register Rewards in addition to these coupons. The Register Rewards print like a Catalina on a little machine near the cash register. The most important thing to remember when coupon shopping at Walgreens is that you have to have as many items to purchase as you have coupons, including any Register Rewards you want to use. We often use “filler” (cheap, extra items) so that we have enough items to purchase.

Before shopping at Walgreens, you might want to review the Walgreens How-To Video. Walgreens is certainly the hardest drugstore to shop, but it has the best deals! What I like most is that you can repeat the deals and get more product. The limits are just one per transaction, so you can get more than one item–just don’t clear the shelves! Here’s a link to the coupon policy.

Frustration yes, but try to look on the bright side–maybe they will send you a WAG gift card and it won’t have the restrictions of a RR (exp date/limit # of coupons, etc)  Maybe add a little note and complain about having to pay postage–they may bump up the reward???

you can buy the aussie freeze on sale for 3.00 plus a 1.00 Register Reward.  Couple that with the new coupon Herbal Essences or Aussie products, excluding trial/travel size $3/2 (9-30-12) RP-8/5 and you could pick up 2 for .50 each.

If I do 3 seperate transactions on the same deal. The following week, can I use all 3 RR for one transaction and still get a RR (The product is different)

You can’t use all the RR’s for one transaction because you have to have as many products as coupons, including Register Rewards.  You could use one from this week  on a sale next week and buy two small filler items and use the other two RR’s though. Watch the video for more information on shopping at Walgreens.  It is a little trickier to roll rewards but they have some great deals.
