Look twice at this coupon in this past Sunday’s newspaper insert? I sure did! Here’s a very high-value manufacturer coupon that goes beautifully with a deep price cut at CVS. Keep in mind that the coupon is higher than the price of the item and, per CVS policy, will need to be adjusted down. This coupon is also limited to one per person, which means separate trips for each item. Take a look:

One Touch Verio IQ Blood Glucose Monitoring System $39.99, price cut through 8/25
Use $45.00/1 OneTouch Verio IQ Meter, limit one coupon per person from SS 8/5 (exp 10/5)
Final Price: Free

Accu-Chek Nano Monitors are still on sale:

Accu-Chek Nano Smart View Blood Glucose Monitoring System $9.99, price cut through 8/25
Use $10.00/1 Accu-Chek Nano SmartView System, limit one coupon per customer from RP 7/29 (exp 12/31)
Final Price: Free

I was so excited about this deal and I had a few of these coupons but my CVS store didn’t have the meters on sale :(–still normal retail $69.99

At my CVS they refused to scan my $5 ECBs from the $50 in qualifying beauty products since I was not buying beauty products in that transaction. I pointed out that it did not state that specification on the MCM coupon, while it DID specify SOME items I could NOT purchase with it, such as tobacco and alcohol. They still refused. Does a $5 Beauty Club ECB HAVE TO be used on beauty purchases?

Offer not at CVS.  The manager said it was a marked down for only two days by mistake.

I tried to purchase the One Touch yesterday with the $45 off coupon, and the manager there told me they can’t adjust the price down for the sale, so I couldn’t use it :-( Has this happened to anyone else? Or should I just try a different CVS?

Try a different CVS if you can, but you may also want to print a copy of their policy and take it with you. They can adjust it down.

      • isn’t it crazy how they make up rules as they go along. Argh! So frustrating! I had a similar situation at Walmart. I had a 2 cent overage and the cashier was getting all grumpy about not giving me the overage so I calmly got out the coupon policy and she gave me the money back! Wooo Hooo!

I received the coupon in my Sunday paper in NJ.

  7. Got the coupon but my CVS has them at regular price of $69.99 …bummer!

  8. Suzee says:

I went to get my one touch meter and the cashier told me it didn’t state on the coupon “up to $45.” just for $45. One of the cashier next to her thought it would be ok but the other wouldnt let me use it! ugh.. going to another cvs lol anyone else have this problem?

  9. Annie Nguyen says:

My cvs has it for 69.99 no sales:(

You might want to try Walgreens too for this deal. Last month they had a $30 coupon in their coupon books. I went to two seperate Walgreens today, and both still had the sign up, so they price modified them down to the 39.99. With the $45 coupon in this last weeks paper, it made it free (they lower the coupon to the 39.99.) My local CVS still has the Verio IQ for 69.99, so it was nice to be able to use my coupons at Walgreens.

I went to CVS and they have it priced for $69.99. How do I get it for the $39.99???

  12. It was regularly priced at my CVS this morning – I was going to check another later.  I saw one other person posted they had regular price as well.

I got both coupons, went to CVS, and was surprised they had both in stock!  I even got $5.02 overage unexpectedly and had to fill that with items quickly since they were about 5 minutes before closing. Happy couponing!

  19. Ysha_08 says:

Im from new york, and didn’t get this coupon.

  20. Anonymous says:

Got both of these coupons in my paper.  Too bad the Accu check is always out of stock, I’ll check again on Friday.  I didn’t check the Veroi, but I have a feeling its gone as well.

  21. Amy says:

I received a $30 coupon in another insert (cannot remember which one, maybe Parade, a few weeks ago). Does anyone know if there is a mail in rebate in the box?

  22. guest says:

  27. guest says:

is the One touch a regional coupon? I cant find it in my SS  insert. (LA times)

    • Coupon Cal says:

It is a regional coupon. I got none in my LA Times, but I got one in my LA Daily News Sunday edition.
