I did this deal buying Natural Instincts, however I do not see that item listed in the rebate. Is it included?

  2. Brittnie says:

I got these for just 50 cents each at Food4less! It was part of their buy 4 save 4 mix and match promotion going on till tuesday. When you buy four items you can get the shampoo and conditioner for $1.98 and use your $3/2 coupon from RP 8/5making them just .50! plus you can submit them for the rebate :)

  3. alice says:

Will cvs price match rite aids 2/$5 deal on herbal essences this week?

  6. Edith Chaves says:

just had a question about the receipts do u include the whole receipt? like even though the bottom of my CVS receipt has all my info on EB deals and how much more money i need to spend for the EB deals

    • Anonymous says:

As long as dates, prices, and all the details of your transaction are on there, you should be fine. I tear off the other info to keep.

  7. alice says:

i bought the cover girl at rite aid and today the shampoo at cvs? can i submit 2 rebates? or 1 per household no matter where it was purchased?

If I have two of the $1 off 2 Herbal Essences CVS coupons from the MCM, can I use both in the same stransaction? Thanks

  9. NoOdle says:

KCL, a little off topic but is the Dermasilk which is 39.99 this week, is it regular price or sale price? Thanks!

    • Anonymous says:

It’s hard for me to tell without knowing the specific product, but on the cvs website, there is an item for $39.99.

Hello fellow couponers! I’m very very new to exterme couponing so heres my question.I went to CVS today & my order before coupons was $118. I bought 8/Aussie (didn’t read fine print on rebate, so no rebate for me), 2/clairol, 2/bic razors, 2/purex, 6/nautre valley bars, 3/maybelline mascaras, 6/power bars, 1/gillette and 1/ajax. i paid $66.05 OOP including tax. I also received $16 ECB. What did i do wrong to pay so much still or is this a good deal. I really thought I would do better! Please any help would be much appreciated! :)

    • Anonymous says:

Welcome to the world of Extreme Couponing.  Hey, if you count the $16 ECBs you received, you saved close to 60%, that is NOT bad…essentially you paid less than half of what you could have, so be proud of that! :)  It would be helpful to know exactly which coupons you used, but just from what you listed, I would say that you probably could have done without the Gillette because the 8 Aussie and Clairol already total $35.86 and you only need $30 to get the $10 ECB deal, so that’s $5 extra that you didn’t “necessarily” have to pay not even counting the Gillette!  I can’t really say what else went wrong, but a few pointers:  Be sure to check the prices of the items you’re buying.  KCL usually lists the lowest price here, but prices vary by region and by variety of the products.  Also, double-check prices when they’re ringing up your order – I bought 3 Maybelline mascaras too and 2 of them rang up full-price instead of $5 each, so I had them correct that.  Lastly, it’s a good idea to get an idea of what you’ll be paying at the register BEFORE you go shopping.  Use the list function that KCL just added to the site, add the tax and subtract coupons for your actual OOP.  I usually calculate INCLUDING TAX, what my OOP will be so I’m never caught off guard and if the total is different at checkout, I know something went wrong.  I wouldn’t be bummed about your savings at all, especially as a newbie; you will get better and better as you keep trying!

      • Anoblezada says:

Wow, thanks so much for the encouragement and the great pointers! I also didn’t know that you could be 98% of the $30 to get the ECB. So much to learn but I’m so ready to save money for my family! I’m hoping to do a lot better next time! Again, thank you Elizarae :)

      • Anoblezada says:

where is the list function to add up my items? thanks!

        • Anonymous says:

You’ll notice a small check box next to an item or deal idea.  Check that and you’ll see a list pop up on the bottom right corner of your screen.  You can print that list, save it, edit, it’s great!

I got my today and I have to say my cashier was the best. Just like I call customer service to complain about bad cashiers I’m definitely calling to complement this girl. Best CVS experience ever :)

  12. Terrygleason95 says:

Would the Crest mouthwash work or only toothpaste?

  13. Cheryl says:

how many cents off from the thirty can I be and still get the EBs?

    • gabby says:

You must be at the 98% mark. 98% of 30 would be $29.40. So your purchase must be at least $29.40 in order to get the Extra Bucks.

  14. Anonymous says:

I’m going to make $4 from this rebate!!! Thank you KCL! :D

  15. Ana_lopez528 says:

Does any one know if I can make different shopping trips to buy the Herbal Essence Shampoo per coupon restriction of 4 per shopping trip and will CVS still give me the $10 extra bucks?

    • Kylie says:

Like all of the “spend this, get that” deals at cvs, your purchases will track on the bottom of your receipt. It will say the amount towards it and the amount needed to earn reward. Once you’ve spent the qualifying amount, your receipt will say “limit reached.” Hope that helps!

    • Anonymous says:

Yep! One of the things I love about CVS :)

  16. Anonymous says:

Mine was a $9.15 moneymaker! :) I got 10 bottles of shampoo and conditioners and did two separate transactions. My final OOP was just $5.85 + tax and I earned $10 ECB and submitted it for $5 rebate. Best part is, it also counted toward my beauty rewards so I got another $5 ECB today! :) I had $4 off $20, (5) $1/2 Aussie/herbal essences CVS Q, (5) $3/2 aussie/herbal essenses MQ.

  17. Edith Chaves says:

you write the sale price right? like the herbal essance shampoos are $2.99 right? … and i think it says Crest products are part of the rebate, but since it doesn’t specify which Crest products does it mean any Crest products? i bought some 3D white toothpaste, it would count right?

  18. Erikaangel90 says:

I bought ten herbal essences from cvs then i did the same with my moms card do i submit two rebates or with the same one? And since i did 60 would i get 10 in rebate?

  19. Erikaangel90 says:

I bought the herbal essences i used my card at cvs for the 30 and i aldo used my moms card do i submit two differet rebates or can i used the same one

    • Freckles411 says:

It says on the rebate form, “Limit one submission per name, envelop per address. Use of multiple addresses or P.O boxes to obtain additional refunds is fraud and may result in prosecution.” So if you are submitting one for her, it needs to be in a separate envelope, with a separate address, and separate rebate form, and separate receipt and specifically to be redeemed for her.

    • Anonymous says:

It doesn’t matter the CVS card that you used.  They don’t care about that but that you bought the qualifying products and the required amount for the rebate… ;)  Remember, it can be from any store too and several receipts till you complete the $25 ;)  Remember also that it’s only 1 per household…  If you and your mom don’t live together and have enough for 2 rebates, you can do it.  One for your mom and the other one for yourself…  HTH ;)

    • Anonymous says:

The rebate is one per household.

  20. joyjoy1417 says:

Really loving these P&G rebates. Just got my giftcard for the Covergirl & Olay last week.  Sent in the Olay one last week too and will send this one in soon.  Usually a great moneymaker after rebates!

    • Anonymous says:

I love them too!!!  I wish it could be more than 1 per household though!  Lol…  Wouldn’t that be great? :D

  21. Marienrissa2012 says:

Is this rebate only for CVS and rite aid or is it for any store in which the qualifying products are purchased?

    • Anonymous says:

I want to know the answer to this also. I bought tons of Always from Food4Less that I want to use as part of this rebate. I don’t see anything on the rebate form about having to get it from a specific store.

      • Anonymous says:

Any qualifying purchase between 7/30-9/16 from any store will qualify :)

      • Marienrissa2012 says:

Yes! Thanks for the replies. I also bought alot from food 4 less it was such a good deal even better bcus of this rebate:)

    • Anonymous says:

Any qualifying purchase between 7/30-9/16 from any store will qualify :)

the flipstick  from covergirl only has 8 digits but they r asking for 12  , do they know that? o they might think i forgot some #s

    • Anonymous says:

Call the 1-800 # on the rebate form and ask for the entire UPC.  I had this issue with the CoverGirl + Olay rebate last month because all cosmetics were missing #s…I think they just code it that way because of the label size.

      • lucy says:

         thanks :)

      • joyjoy1417 says:

All Covergirl items only have 8 digits.  I’ve done a few rebates with Covergirl items and just entered in the #s on it and left the extra boxes empty.  Worked out fine.  Got my giftcard last week for the Covergirl & Olay.

        • Marienrissa2012 says:

Hey can u give me info about the COVERGIRL rebate and where I can find the form? I purchased a lot of COVERGIRL and would love to submit a rebate.thanks:)

          • Anonymous says:

The rebate was for the CoverGirl & Olay line (it’s a separate line of makeup).  You can Google the form, but I think purchases had to be made in June-July.  You can use your CoverGirl purchases toward this rebate though :)

          • Anonymous says:

Click on the link on the KCL deal for the current rebate. The Covergirl & Olay rebate ended already.

Thanks ladies, my work here is done ;)

      • Writetocynthia says:

is this different from the 10$ off 30$ olay rebate? I just submitted that rebate.. will i get for this and also that?

    • Anonymous says:

Don’t worry about the 8 digits.  It happened to me during the “Beauty” rebate and I called and they told me to just fill out the 8 digits and leave the other spaces blank and got paid so this time it should be the same ;)

  23. doug says:

I just bought some of the Covergirl Products at Riteaid as part of their “buy $15.00, get a $5.00 Up reward” sale. Can I use those purchases for this rebate offer? And can I assume we qualify for this rebate even if we submitted other receipts for the last P&G rebate?

  24. Ace's Mom says:

Does the $25 have to be from one transaction (receipt) or can it be from two?

  25. Freckles411 says:

what about the covergirl flipstick duo? Can we combine that with the herbal essence?

    • Freckles411 says:

oh wait…I see, its not part of the $10 EB deal

    • Anonymous says:

I already bought the flipstick, and called the customer service for the 12 digit upc, and he can’t find the upc.  He said it’s not included in the rebate.  I told him that there is no specific product, just covergirl so I told him that this is included. However didn’t get the upc still

      • Anonymous says:

The upc is on the lipstick. 8 digits.

        • Anonymous says:

thanks. but I was wondering it is the same as covergirl+olay products that has less upc.  I’ve done the rebate for this one and called the customer service for the 12digits upc and was able to gave me.  so I might use the 8 digits, I’ve read one of the comments here that she was able to do the rebate even though it’s not the 12digits.

          • Anonymous says:

For the beauty I think it was, one of my CoverGirl products (foundation) had a very little UPC (like 8 numbers-don’t remember) and I was wondering if it was going to be good and called CS and they said it’s fine because that’s the UPC of the product and to just leave the other spaces blank.  I got paid, so we will be fine just with the 8 digits for the lipstick ;)

          • Anonymous says:

Yes, I have done this before. It does not need to be 12 digits. I have also called the company to verify. :)

      • Ana says:

Someone posted elsewhere that they were able to obtain a 12 digit UPC code from Amazon, sure enough I was able to find one for a product that I had with only 8 digits and the rebate went right though (came a week ago).

  26. Grecia Cobos says:

i noticed that you must send the receipt dated between 7-30-12 to 9-16-12. do we wait and buy the products till then??

    • Anonymous says:

This is the date range that you must purchase the products between in order for your purchases to qualify for the rebate.  Since it’s after 7/30/12, any qualifying purchase you make from now up until 9/16/12 will count.  If you have purchased any participating products since 7/30/12, those count too!

  27. Anonymous says:

Yay! i only paid $3.41 plus tax for Aussie, crest and puffs so this will be a money maker for me!

    • Kylie says:

Unfortunately Aussie is not a product that is included in the particular rebate. Sorry!

      • Anonymous says:

bummer! but i did buy some other items thats part of the rebate so i can still get it. Good thing they accept multiple receipts!

        • Anonymous says:

I did the same thing!  I bought a bunch of Aussie and Puffs and only 2 Herbal Essences before I knew about the rebate.  Luckily, last week I bought some Olay facial cleansers, so I was able to add everything up to get to the $25!  PHEW!

          • Anonymous says:

Yeah…  I wish I would’ve known about this rebate before too!!!   But, like you, I purchased other stuff before and after that will help me complete for the rebate…  They should allow more than 1 per household!!!  Lol…  Wouldn’t that be great?  :-P

          • Anonymous says:

            Close call!

        • Anonymous says:

I bought Aussie and Herbal among other products like Crest and Puffs…  I was disappointed too that Aussie is not part of the deal but with the other products I’ll be fine…  ;)

    • joyjoy1417 says:

I bought 8 Herbal Essence and 2 Aussie.  Just shy of the $25 minimum.  Good thing I bought some Crest from Rite Aid last week.

  28. Angela says:

If my total comes out to $29.40 will I still be able to get the $10 ecb?

    • ScrappinJay says:

Yep! Must be 98%. So that works.

      • Angela says:

        Thank you!

        • Tsbrown1511 says:

I do not understand the 98% part of it. My total is just under $30 like Angela’s. Can someone please explain? Thank you for your time in advance.

          • SarahR says:

With the CVS ECB deals, your total needs to be at least 98% of the required amount to get the ECB.  98% of $30 is 29.40.  So if you spent 29.40 on the needed items, the ECB will print.  HTH

  29. Jessica says:

On the rebate form do you put the original price of the item or the price you paid after coupons?

  30. Angela says:

The form only allows 8 spaces for the UPC codes. If I have more, do I attach a separate piece of paper or are we only allowed 8? Thank you.

    • N@y says:

My last rebate for them, I wrote on the back of my paper because I ran out of slots for the UPC does on the front. They accepted it and I was able to get my rebate.

    • Anonymous says:

yup i called and they said just write on the back of the paper…

      • Edith Chaves says:

ok cool, so just on the top of the back is fine?

        • Anonymous says:

yep. if you look at the form you can cut the top part off (i did that to remind myself that i sent it and waiting for it) so if youre going to do the same write it somewhere else because youre going to cut up the top and leave behind the rest of your UPC codes, prices, etc…

  31. Kim_gaziano says:

Is this both CVS and Rite Aid or only CVS?

  32. CouponCal says:

This deal is for CVS. The Rite Aid mention in sentence one is a typo, correct?
