Can you use your bogo along with your 4.00 off gillete/venus coupon?

    • Kendramarie19 says:

I don’t think so because the b1g1 is for the disposables only. The 4/1 is for refillable razors.

  2. Guardchic7789 says:

Can anyone please tell me how price matching both CVS and/or Walgreens deals on the Gillette Razors would work out at Walmart?

  3. Jdaz2012 says:

This is not in the blog, but I couldn’t see the upcoming CVS deals but for the deal Spend 30 get 10 ECB back and it included Wisk detergent 32 loads for 4.99  do you think this scenario would work?

    (1) Good and natural bar: .99
    (6) Wisk Laundry Detergent: 4.99
    =  30.93

    - Free Good and natural bar
    (6) – 2.00/1 Wisk Laundry
    Pay OOP: 17.93 Get 10ECB
Like paying 1.32 cents each Wisk..

Will this work or is there a limit? I don’t see a limit on the Wisk coupon.. but was wondering if there was a limit for the deal, or as long as it reaches 30?..

I dont believe that there is, but i scaned my cvs card today and it printed a 4.00 off 20.00 purchase if this prints for you,, you can also use that for more savings!! GOOD LUCK :)

  4. Matoigue says:

I don’t have today’s updated Krazy coupon lady web site. :(.

    • NYleve says:

I am having trouble too–I think they are in the process of changing some things on the site and still have some kinks to work out.  Try the Blog tab–it may be there.

  5. Toni Clemens says:

can you use your extra bucks on the same product that gave you the extra bucks and still get another one at the end of that receipt?  Or is it like walgreens where you have to split everything up?

  6. Heather says:

Kind of off topic here, but I can’t seem to get any lists to print once I check my items.  When I click print, a page with the KCL logo pops up, but there are not items.  Is there a way to fix this?  TY!

    • NYleve says:

Read where others were having problems as well.  KCL says they are working on it!!  Great feature.

  7. Egcampos says:

I’m confused on the Gillette fusion razor….it’s on sale for 9.99 you get $4 ecb and there is a $4.00 coupon so I’m paying about $1.99 for one? is this correct?
    thanks

    • Sally Jewell says:

No… $9.99 – $4 cpn = $5.99 OOP. Than 4eb prints on receipt so it’s LIKE paying $1.99 after extra-bucks. If you have any extrabucks than that would farther reduce your out of pocket expense.

  8. The Gillette deal that is shown above beginning 8/12 on the razors is also available at Rite Aids in Rhode Island beginning 8/12 and the limit is 2!

  9. Christi says:

Where do you get the % off coupons for cvs?

    • Sally Jewell says:

it was sent through email.  You can either print it or “send” it to your extracare card

    • Anonymous says:

They usually come in an email. But sometimes they’ll print out at the machine for you. Be sure to link your card to an email address by going to cvs.com

      • Mhye_enialym says:

KCL, is the razor considered part of the cosmetic item? Because I still have the $5/$15 and hoping to use it on this deal if possibel?

  10. I got an email to today with a coupon for $5/$30 can i use that with my $5/$25 Baby Care mcm or do i have to spend the $55 total to use both? Thanks.

  11. Karin says:

How to best use our % off coupons at CVS would be a great separate category since we all get them so frequently. Even if it was just in the brag lounge “Style” via comments. I’m always wanting to take advantage of them but sometimes can’t tell the best way. Thanks for all you do KCL!

    • Sally Jewell says:

I agree with Karin! I would also suggest putting something in the CVS 101 or the Coupon policy. Like what items can be included and what can’t. The wording of the coupon confuses a lot of people (“EXCLUDES SALE & PROMOTIONAL ITEMS, CLEARANCE ITEMS”).. makes you think eb deals are off limits. Also, Which coupons affect the amount taken off.. the wording is also confusing (SAVINGS APPLIED TO TOTAL QUALIFYING PURCHASE AFTER OTHER CVS COUPONS & DISCOUNTS ARE APPLIED).

It would clear up a lot of confusion and there would be a way to direct people to a place that would answer their questions about the coupon. Which I think will be more often because I’ve heard CVS is doing way with the $4/$20 coupon and replacing it with a 20% off coupon.

I’ve noticed KCL as of lately has been putting “Remember, this is a regular-priced item and eligible for your percent-off coupons!” in posts. So KCL is well on her way of doing what Karin suggested. Thanks KCL’s for all you do!

      • Anonymous says:

I agree, I get so confused with when I can use percent off and not. Until now I thought they couldn’t be used on regular priced items that do get EBs, so thanks girls.

        • roundhere says:

Me too, most of the time I just let them expire. Would be wonderful to have a place to claify!!

      • Anonymous says:

Thanks Sally! We are working to make a lot of improvements to our CVS section! Glad you noticed :) And thanks for the great feedback!

        • Sally Jewell says:

Your very welcome! Can’t wait to see the improvements you ‘all are making.

I typed something up to detail the % off coupon, as a reference for myself and others. I hope KCL won’t mind me taking the liberty of posting it. This is what I’ve learned from this site and personal experience using this coupon. Obviously this is not official and not verified by CVS….

“EXCLUDES SALE & PROMOTIONAL ITEMS”…Which Means:

          - BOGO & BOGO-50%off
          - Sale-Priced Items from the weekly ad
          - Already has %-off associated with item

INCLUDES: Items that are regular priced, including items with Extra-Bucks associated with them as long as the item(s) is regularly priced.

“SAVINGS APPLIED TO TOTAL QUALIFYING PURCHASE AFTER OTHER CVS COUPONS & DISCOUNTS ARE APPLIED.”…Which Means:

          - Purchase based coupons (Ex. $4 off $20)
          - Beauty Club Reward ($5 Extra-Bucks)
          - Green Bag Tag Reward ($1 Extra-Bucks)

Coupons that will not effect amount of the discount: Manufacturer, Store & Magic Coupon Machine coupons (minus the one listed above), and Extra-Bucks (minus the ones
listed above). Ex. Item priced at $10 minus a $2 manufacturer, $2 store coupon would still result in a $2.20 discount for the
          %-off coupon (based on a 20% off).

          Coupon Usage Suggestions:
          - Regular priced item that you have a coupon for and the coupon is expiring soon
          - Regular priced items with extra-bucks associated with them
          - Milk and other food items
          - Sunday Newspapers
          - Reinventing Beauty Magazine
          - Photo Prints

          How to get this coupon:
          - Your Email- Your Last Receipt (rarely)
          - Your Online Extra-Care account (still?)

          Coupon Expiration:
Coupon expires 3 day after receiving it but if you received it in your email you can “send it to your card” the day it expires and you’ll gain additional 3 days to use it.

Suggestion on how to calculate your OOP (out-of-pocket expense):A very handy tool is a tip calculator (found on most cell-phones). Just enter the price amount of the item(s) in where you would enter the bill, then enter what percent the coupon is for where you would add the tip percent. What follows that is the amount of the discount you will receive (the “tip” amount). Remember, if your using any of the coupons that reduce the amount of the savings, you need to subtract that from
the total. Ex. $20 purchase of qualifying item with a -$4/$20 coupon and $5 beauty club extra-bucks would result in a $2.20 discount (based on 20% coupon).

    • Anonymous says:

One thing I’ve been trying to add to at least the single deals is a reminder of which ones will qualify for percentage coupons. I’ll give it some more thought & think how to better designate which items in a sale week are still regular price. Thanks for your feedback!

  12. Kate says:

    Ok, thanks for the help!

  13. Kate says:

Can the 30% off CVS coupon be used on the Gillette/Venus razor or is that considered a sale price?

    • Anonymous says:

The CVS website shows a regular price of $10.99 for this razor, so it may indeed be a sale price :(

    • Gaby says:

It’s a sale price. You can use it on the Physicians Formula though.

      • NoOdle says:

how can you be sure the Physicians Formula will work? It doesnt hit the $10 mark. Does it relate to the 98% rule because I dont think it will make it. advice?

        • Sally Jewell says:

Yup the 98% rule applies here.. $9.80 is 98% of $10, so the $7 extrabucks will print as shown adove. HTH

        • Anonymous says:

Yes, it’s the 98% rule we’re applying. Although we can’t be 100% sure it will work, 99% of the time it does. How clear is that?

          ;)

      • The 30% won’t apply to the Physician’s Formula.  Even if it’s regular price, it’s still considered a promotional item because of the EB.

    • I just got back from CVS, and the 30% coupon worked on the following:  Sally Hansen nail ($1 MQs), Crest 3D White and Crest Complete Rinses (BOGO MQs and CVS coupons), Gillette Custom 3 razors (another BOGO MQ and CVS combo), Cover Girl Naturelux Mascara (had a $3 CVS coupon plus $1 MQ), Depend Silhouette 12 pk ($3 Q popped out of MCM today, plus $2 MQ), Neutrogena lotions and creams (including the little travel sizes, $1 CVS Qs), Scunci ponytail holders ($2 off 2 CVS Q, and the packs each had 36 for the price of 18) , Tampax Pearl ($2 CVS Q and $2 MQ) and Tom’s Naturals Deodorant ($2.50 MQ).   The 30% did NOT work for the Dove (on sale, $3/2 Q) or Pantene shampoos (regular price, but you get a free styling product, $3/2 MQ, bought 2 shampoos to use the MQ).  After coupons, I owed about $34.   I gave them $22 in EB and paid about $12 OOP ($8 of that was tax).  I received $17 in EB, and will get another $5 EB from Beauty Club, so the EBs rolled, and it really did just cost me $12.  The receipt shows that the 30% coupon took off $43.21 and I saved $202.69 today.  HTH others with a 30% coupon this weekend.
