Hi Joanie and Heather! I, too, love your videos and hope you keep making them. One request, though, is even with my volume turned up on high, I can barely hear you. Will y’all please speak a little louder? Thanks!

  2. Alliekiley says:

Does office max still have the .10 purell? I have a bunch of coupons that I didn’t get to use, that I was hoping to use to donate to local people for back to school!

  3. Jennifervernon says:

At target the rose art crayons 24 count are $.25, the colored pencils are $.52 and the markers 10 count are $.50… If you buy 2 crayons and 1 pack of markers or colored pencils you only pay sales tax $.04-.$08

  5. Jlynn says:

If I went to office max and got the batteries could I get the penny items? Can that count as my $5 purchase?

  6. Leahheartscoupons says:

Love, love love the videos you do! Keep it up, and here’s hoping for a better week next week!

  7. BlueCherryFaerie says:

Love ANY video you guys do. I hope after the back to school sales end you do another series!

Also, almost everyone I know started(s) school last week, this week, or next week. I was at target this week and noticed that SO many kids were doing their back to school shopping. Could this be the reason why the sales are slowing down? Because school is starting earlier and the stores know that people will pay any price now that they need this stuff immediately?

  9. Lisa says:

The Staples here in NM told me that the paper rebate has to be a different brand each week in order to get the rebate, or it has to be same brand different month. For example, I went back in August and it was Hammermill brand and in July when I bought the paper it was Staples brand.  But if I went back this week and bought more Hammermill paper I would not be able to get the money back.  Not sure if its different in every state or not.

    • Ashley says:

so its a money back rebate??

      • Lisa says:

Staples paper is a mail back rebate, But I think the Office Max rebate is reward money to use only in the Office Max store.

        • Lisa says:

Sorry, Staple is money back in form of check or deposited into a paypal account.

          • Ashley says:

they are both mail back rebates

            • Lisa says:

Yes, but Staples actually gives you a check to cash and use anywhere or cash deposited into your paypal account.  Office Max only gives you a reward card that can ONLY be used to purchase items at Office Max.

    • courtingcouponing says:

But it is limit 2 per brand within the same month right?

      • Lisa says:

yes here in NM it is 2 per brand per month according to the management at our Staples, but check with your Staples and see what they say there policy is.

  10. Fethiye Miller says:

What are you planning to the with all the Office Max rewards? As far as I remember you cannot use them to buy another Max-Perk item. That is one thing that keeps me from Office Max.

    • Teresa Luna says:

I take full advantage of the MaxPerks rewards at Office Max and I do use the rewards to purchase other promotional MaxPerks items and there’s no issue getting rewards from those purchases. I’ve been rolling my rewards like so for about a year.  The only thing is maxperks rewards post at the end of the following month after a qualified purchase so it’s quite a wait before I can use those rewards on further purchases.

  11. coloradocouponer says:

I love it when you ladies do the videos.  I hope you keep doing them after the back to school season.  On another note – we need you both to go to Washington D.C. and show them (all parties) how to shop.

  12. Ashley says:

the rebates for office max: are they instant? or mail in?

    • Anonymous says:

      MaxPerks
are issued in statement cycles and are in the form of a Reward Card,
redeemable toward future OfficeMax purchases. The card expires 90
days from when it’s issued. So it’s basically credit for future
purchases, like CVS EBs or Rite Aid’s +Ups.
