  1. Danica Watson says:

Also, i had a staples coupon for the multipurpose paper (big box) and I was going to use it on the buy 2 boxes get one free. The coupon clearly stated no limits to how many boxes, however, again both my staples stores had a posted flyer on the boxes that said the coupon could only be used on one box. I expect there will be some changes coming soon in regard to coupon policies with staples.

  2. Danica Watson says:

For the first time in 2 years of couponing at staples both of my staples stores refused to take manufacturer coupons for the bic pens and I was told by both managers that they were informed last week by corporate to not allow manufacturer coupons on sale items. However, I can’t find it in writing and neither could they. Anyone have a copy of the staples coupon policy? thanks

  3. Bonnie says:

    I am so confused!
Does Staples accept coupons? What is a link to their coupon policy??
I had a really bad time at Staples today – they ended up giving me the Bic Velocity pens for how you told here, but it was a big ordeal and they said that since they are on sale they can’t really let me use the coupon.
But since it’s a manufacture’s coupon, if they send it in they’ll still get reimbursed, right?
I would just really like a solid answer on this.
I was really, really nice to the people but they still used inappropriate language and said “—–, just do it.” to the cashier right in front of me!
Plus, they were really upset that my husband and I were each getting this deal (2 packs each), each with a coupon. We’re two people with two coupons?

Thankfully, I had a fabulous experience at Walmart today with the best cashier ever who was fast and awesome! Next time, I guess I should just price match Staples’ price at Walmart?

    I’d really appreciate some input!

  4. For those of you with lots of Staples Rewards (especially because of the new Teacher Card rules), the photo paper on sale this week is a great way to get a chunk of that money out of the reward program and back into your pocket. The photo paper is $14.99 with a $14.49 rebate, limit 4 rebates per household, so you could spend $60 (plus tax) in Staples Rewards and get $58 of it back in the mail as a rebate check. HTH

  5. Soup says:

I got a store coupon yesterday for the printer paper for FREE after the easy rebate and Staples by email. Check if you guys have one!

  6. Molly says:

Does anyone else have trouble using coupons at Staples? It seems they aren’t able to scan manufacturer’s coupons, so they price adjust, which no one seems to be particularly happy about doing. The cashier this week told me they aren’t supposed to accept manufacturer’s coupons??? I can’t seem to find a coupon policy anywhere, can anyone offer any guidance?

    • Mary Smith says:

At my staples they just manually put the amount in, then rip the coupon up, and throw it away! When they first did it, I was like what are you doing!?! The cashier told me they take coupons, but dont turn them in. Crazy, huh?

    • Anonymous says:

The manager at my Staples today wouldn’t let me use the $1/2 BIC coupons today for the .50 2pk pens. He says that “you can come back when they’re not on sale-price.” When I asked what’s his reason for that, he said “I’m already selling you these pens for a cheap sale price, what more do you want?”
      -_____________-”

    • At my Staples, they put in the coupons at the very last, after scanning all the purchases and the 15% dicount card (if you have one). If the coupons are scanned earlier, the computer locks up and they need to void everything and start over. P.S. They let me use the $1/2 Bic coupon on the 50 cent items, no grumbling.
