Cheap Ink: How to Save 50% or More on Printer Cartridges!

Saving on printer ink can be tricky. Some prefer name brand. Others prefer a bargain! Luckily for me, Inkfarm helps satisfy my need for the latter. Saving an average of 50-60% by shopping through Inkfarm is easy. I have ordered from them twice and have been pleased both times. I received exactly what was ordered, it was delivered promptly, and the cartridges have worked perfectly.

At Inkfarm.com, the cartridges are compatible ink cartridges, which means they aren’t name brand. Inkfarm.com gives you the option to purchase the name brand cartridges. But when you see the price difference, you’ll want to give the compatible cartridges a try. I also learned that on most cartridges you save 10% automatically at checkout, and most orders ship for free!

How to order:

  • Head to Inkfarm.com.
  • Search for your printer.
  • Select the colors and quantities you want to purchase.
  • Add them to your cart.
  • Click “checkout.” You don’t have to register to place an order.
  • Enter your shipping and payment information.
  • In most cases, you’ll receive your ink in 1 – 2 days.

Here’s an example of what I have purchased:

Buy 1 Canon PGI-225 Black Ink $6.95
Save $0.70 automatically with the additional 10% savings
Free Shipping
Final Price: $6.25 Shipped

If you purchase this same one at Amazon: Canon PGI-225 Black Ink $14.50 + Free Amazon Prime Shipping

If you purchase this same one at Staples: Canon PGI-225 Black Ink $15.99 + Free Shipping

sorry found a nuch better deal at both swapink.com and doubleinks.com. At double inks I got the same amount as this company and I got it for 41.00 delivered at swapink. I found it for 36.00 ordered from them both and found them to both be very reliable.

Not a deal for me. I can go to Walmart and pay $31.00 for both black and color. They want $20.00 for color and $17.00 for black plus I have to pay shipping.

4inkjets.com is also good website. I personally prefer this website. They sipped my ink for only 2 days! Their packaging is much better than inkfarm.com and cheaper for my printer. Maybe this might not happen often, but the cartridges that I got from inkfarm, com was not printing right:(

I can get a whole set of third party cartridges for my printer on Amazon for under $9 with free shipping. That’s a deal! Plus it’s reassuring to read the reviews and see people who have my same printer who have had no problem with the cartridges. http://www.amazon.com/Pack-Epson-Cartridges-Artisan-Compatible/dp/B005EC17BU/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1345652728&sr=8-3&keywords=epson+artisan+810+ink

My Ink Cartridges at Inkfarm are $20+ and at Amazon they are only $14.50, so definitely not a deal for me!

Do you have canon pg-210xl ink?

  11. Debi F says:

I refill my own cartridges. With a pint of ink I purchased from ebay – i think it was just under $7 shipped, I figure each refill costs me about 20 cents!!! Now THAT is cheap ink :)

  12. sofia says:

I know it really depends on what kind of printer you have, but I have an HP and it costs less to refill my cartridges at costco ($7) than to buy them at inkfarm ($9) … And I feel like I’m helping the environment by not using more and more cartridges.

I don’t know why, but I can never find a good deal on cartridges for my HP printer. The cheapest place I can find them is Staples, and their $2 recycling program makes an even better deal. I checked out Inkfarm and even their prices were twice what I pay at Staples. I wish I could find a website where I could get them cheaper :(
