Just did this deal and it worked on the hair repair shamp & cond and got my $10 EB. It actually was a money maker after i used my 25% off since these regular priced.

  2. Veronica says:

In California don’t forget the tax…ouch

  3. James says:

Sweet deal got even better, because there was a $1 peelie on the conditioner. I got mine for .21 and every bit of that was tax. :)

  4. Kate says:

I got a great deal! My store accepts expired MCM expired qs up to 2 weeks past the expiration date, so this is what I got…
    1 full repair shampoo, 4.99
    1 full repair conditioner, 4.99
    1 foam hair color, 12.49

    Used the $10 manuf q
Used the $2 beauty club q that came
Used the $2 off $5.99 or more hair color q.
After the $10 ecb, it was a $1.53 MM!

  5. tina says:

i just couious can the other john frieda coupon work 2 the 5.00 off 2

    • Anonymous says:

I’m not sure which coupon that is. I didn’t see any other coupons for Full Repair items in the coupon database.

  6. Alexis says:

I used my $10 off coupon plus the buy a hair dye, get a free shampoo and I also had $4 eb. I paid $3.97 total and got the eb so it was a great deal!!

  7. cayacoup says:

Tags clearly say “excludes Full Repair!” I don’t see how people were able to work this.

    • Anonymous says:

Yes it does. However, the full repair is ALSO marked as participating in a “spend $20, get $10″ promotion, as you can see from our in-store pic above. But they track together. Why they didn’t separate them in the tracking, or just remove the “full repair excluded,” I’m not sure.

  8. morgan says:

I used a CVS coupon for $2/$5.99 or more hair color purchase , the $10 John Frieda coupon, and the $2/$10 CVS email coupon and got an even better deal! :)

  9. Anonymous says:

I’m excited for this deal! I received a 25% off coupon in my email today too which can be applied to the hair color I believe. Plus I have the $2 off coupon woohoo!
Do I have to buy the full repair to get this deal or can I get any of the John Frieda shamp/conds like the Frizz Ease ones? Thanks!

  10. Morgan says:

i am also confused.. the tags at my store say spend $20 on the hair color get $10eb back. and the tag on the shampoo and conditioner say spend $20 on the shampoo and conditioner get $10 back…so i guess im confused because it doesnt say spend $20 on john frieda products?

    • Anonymous says:

Yes, I know. The tags are misleading and that’s what we were hoping to clear up here. All John Frieda participating items are “tracking” on the same promo. Spend $20 on any, mix and match, get $10 EBs.

      • morgan says:

        okay thank you

      • sungardner925 says:

I would interpret it as ALL John Freida products – If you go to CVS dot com and bring up the weekly ad and then click on the John Freida ECB deal it says: John Frieda or ALL John Frieda Hair Color
        SPEND $20 and GET $10 extrabucks® rewards
extrabucks® rewards offer limit of 1 per household with card
John Frieda or ALL John Frieda Hair Color
        YAY!!!

      • Anonymous says:

Just came back fr CVS. The scenario above doesn’t work. You have to buy $20 of Full Repair range in order to get the $10 EB. But with the rest of John Freida, you can mix and match to get the total up to $20. Not worth it bcos they cost $7.99 ea and Hair Color is $13.29 at my store in NC.

        • Lar says:

Hair color is $13.49 in my store in So Cal. The Full Repair Conditioners were $4.99. I did this deal, and this is how it turned out.
          2 Full Repair Conditioners @ $4.99 ea = $9.98
          1 Foam Color @ $13.49
          Total = $23.47

          Used $10 Man Q $13.47
          $7 in ECBs 8.47
          CA Tax 1.74
          TOTAL – $8.21
Received $10 in ECB (but I used $7 so I am only deducting $3 from my calculation for total OOP)
          OOP $1.73 ea.
Not a bad deal, but not nearly as good as 82. ea.

Did you attempt it and an EB didn’t print? I know it is not marked in a way that seems it will work. This post is intended to illustrate, regardless of the signage, how it is actually tracking when you perform the transaction. But if you tried it and an EB didn’t print, I apologize. I have only had reports of people successfully doing it.

          • Anonymous says:

The cashier told me beforehand that I will not get my EB. I got tired arguing with 2 of the staff there so I left.

            • Anonymous says:

Okay, well I’m glad to hear it wasn’t a true “fail.” :) Thanks for sharing!

  11. Bjmitch24 says:

The haircolor is 13.99 in San Diego, but it’s still a good deal.

  12. redhair231 says:

At my store in MD the hair dye is buy 1 get 1 50% off :(. i didnt want to take the chance

  13. sophie and ben says:

what does it mean when it says “limit of 1 per household with card”?

  14. amrose26 says:

I have two of the $10/1 coupons, can I use both in the same transaction and get $20 ECB or do I have to do them in separate transactions?

    • chitownsaver says:

No, the offer states it’s one per household. If you are purchasing for another household with a different extra care card, you can use your second coupon in another transaction.

      • amrose26 says:

I hardly ever go to CVS so I’m not sure if this would work, if I give a phone number for one card then on my separate transaction open a new card (because i dont acaully have an extracare card with my info) will i be able to use both coupons?

  15. mamma coupons says:

Yay just did this but I also had a free shampoo coupon for the john frieda when u buy a hair dye. Did it with mine and the husbands card n recieved $20 in extra bucks. Very pleased.

    • amybang says:

when did you get the coupon free shampoo when u you hair dye, it sound similar for me, but I forgot where it is?

  16. Emma says:

The tags on the shelf say the hair repair is included. I took my chances and tried it and it worked. I think that put me over for my next beauty club rewards too!

I can’t seem to find the zzz quil, is it behind the counter?

  17. canes1999 says:

we never get the good coupons in our papers, damn regionals :(

  18. cris says:

    got 1 JFrieda Foam Colour x $14.29
1 JFrieda Full Repair Full Body Shampoo x $4.99
1 JFrieda Full Repair Full Body Conditioner x $4.99
    ———————————————————————

on the window where you write your comments, look on the bottom left, there is a small icon; if you move your mouse over the icon will say “Upload Images”, click it and upload images. Hope that helps.

    • mrsJS says:

You can use that $2/$10 on any hair care, sale or not. Be sure the read the Q for any exclusions. HTH

  21. guisi says:

I was going to do that last night but the tags confused me. Most products said “excludes Hair Repair” and the Hair Repair ones said “spend 20 on Hair Repair products”

  22. Amy Schmidt says:

i think i threw that coupon away :( That will teach me! Never through away a coupon. Even if you don’t think you’ll ever use it.

    • cayacoup says:

Yep. I think I learned that lesson the best was during my first Black Friday (2011). Although I got a buttload of deals, I could have done even better had I not tossed some coupons for stuff I never buy or use.

    • Anonymous says:

I never get rid of coupons until after they expire. You never know what deals may come up!
