Can’t leave the house without using mouthwash, right? Lucky for me, I’ve restocked my supply in the last few weeks! Plus, I was able to buy a few pair of pantyhose for less than a dollar each. That’s great in my book! I saved more than 90% on my purchases, which makes me a happy couponer!  How did your week go?

I purchased the renu from Rite aid this week and Not only did I get the $7 RR but I also recieved a $2 RR! Great MM for me!!

  2. CrazyMomOf11 says:

The shave gel is $2.37 at my CVS, but it is still a great deal. :)

I just read a post saying that Walgreens updated their registers and you no longer need a filler item to use the RR. Anyone else experienced this? I’m getting my Walgreens plan ready and wondering if this is accurate. Maybe I’ll take a filler item with me to the register just in case…. the post says she was able to do this:
    (2) Mitchum Deodorant 2/$6.00
    Used: (1) $1.50/2 MQ
Used: $4.00 RR from a previous transaction
    Paid $.92
    Got Back $4.00 RR

I would think that the $1.50/2 would attach to both deodorants so you’d need a filler item in order to use the $4 RR. Thoughts?

I think the policy is that you cant have more coupons than items. She purchased 2 items and used two coupons, so they wouldnt need a filler item.

    • Jlynn says:

The lady at my Walgreens was like the RR might not take because the shampoo coupon counts for 2 products, but then it scanned and she was like oh sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn’t. I used the $4 RR from buying the mitchum deodorant to buy herbal essences and scope, so I had 2 shampoos and 2 scopes and I used 1 herbal coupon and 2 scope coupons and the RR worked out great :)

my walgreens didnt give me the reward for the chex this week but a coupon :-(
however I restocked my crest mouthwash and floss, bought hubby some shampoo, got 2 packs of Toilet Paper, and surprised my kids with some turtle chex :-)

What is the benefit of buying the alteril sleep aid if I don’t use it? How will it save me money to buy the Walgreens deals? I just can’t completely get it…thank you!!

    • Anonymous says:

I wouldn’t buy it if I couldn’t use it or donate it. I actually have trouble sleeping so am excited to try it!

I just came back from Rite Aid last night with disappointed. They didn’t accept my fat foam MR coupon because they said the coupon was higher than the selling price after RA coupon 1 penny. I tried to show them the printed coupon policy that I had and explained to them. However, they didn’t even listen to what I was telling them. They just said it out loud that that they just followed the policy and telling me about the policy. It sucks. Any one has any idea whether I should call RA customer service to ask about their policy to be sure?

you know my sister said it wasn’t on sale here but i see that it is. was yours on sale for 4.99

My store is still showing the Samy as 9.99 with Rite Aid coupon of $2 and mfr coupon of $5, still leaving it at three dollars. Am I missing a coupon?

    • Jlynn says:

Mine was on sale for $4.99 with the RA Q and I used the $5 off coupon and I bought at least 6 of these things but I bought another item with them.. Kind of like a Walgreens filler. I did them one at a time. I went and got like a 59 cent cracker thing so I ended up paying 58 cents for the 59 cent item (mine give you the overage towards things in your basket) and then I paid the 60 cents in tax. The one RA I went to said that if you didn’t buy anything else it wouldn’t go through. The total before tax has to cost more than the coupons, at least at mine. Mine also doesn’t adjust coupons down.

Ok so I am trying to get the hang of this but see if I understand. You actually paid around $32 or so out of pocket (unless you used previous rewards from Walgreens). But you received $32 or so reward bucks to use for future purchases. My problem is that I don’t have the money to make the initial investment in order to get the rewards to start with. Any suggestions?

    • swatson says:

I normally limit myself $40 a week….I take the items that make the Rewards first and then use them at the end for other items. it helps if you try to watch the deals and know you will be needing the product soon….I have about a years worth of shampoo and conditioner, deodorant, razors, toothpaste and mouthwash.

    • Anonymous says:

The first week is the hardest. After that you have rewards to use each week to keep your OOP low. Start small, just one store. It is worth the investment!

  8. Bwireman says:

at cvs my ecb didn’t print for the Schick hydro 3 razor. is there a way i can still get it?

    • Anonymous says:

I would return with my receipt and request it. The deals track on your receipt so should see that it didn’t print. Good luck!

  9. Deb says:

Why isn’t the SAMY Hair Color Fat Foam coupon in the Rite Aid weekly circular??? Very disappointed.

  10. Alice Pin says:

nice !!!!! my rite aid does not have the Poligrip, 0.75 oz $2.49, regular price, but regular price for 5.29??? and Walgreens as well $6.29. i was not able to use my free coupon for poligrip! too expensive.

    • bamabragger says:

My store did have them for 2.49, but the coupon would not scan so I didn’t get them. I was going to donate! I saw the ones that were 5.29 and those are not the right size. 0.75 oz is a very small tube, so keep looking maybe you will find them.

      • guisi says:

I bought the Poligrip at Walgreen’s and also Kroger. At Kroger it is $1.99 so it’s completely free after coupon.
