Target Clearance Finds: Gain, Planters, Rubbermaid, and More!

As usual, I found many noteworthy clearance prices at Target today! While not all of the items utilize coupons, every item I listed is a savings of at least 33%. A majority are 50% off or more. Know about a clearance item not listed here? Feel free to leave a comment and brag!

My Target store did not allow us to use the planters coupon on the clearance bag of planters nuts. The manager tried telling me that it had to be what was pictured on the coupon. Load of crap but I was not going to make a fuss over a bag of peanuts. I don’t know if it’s just this particular target in Houston but I have a feeling they are going to tighten up their coupon policy.

I’m not sorry that happened to you! It’s frustrating when that happens. It might be worthwhile to call Target corporate and discuss your experience. The images shown on coupons are often just an example, but seem to be thought of as the “item” for which the coupon is valid. I hope you have better luck next time!

By any chance, was it the one on Blackhawk, in Houston? They wouldnt manually accept a “Target” coupon. The cashier said maybe because the item was on clearance. (It was for herbal shampoo)The manager was no help. He said if the register did not automaticaly accept it, then they could not take it.

My local target has 9-12 oz cans of Gillette Fusion shave gel on clearance for $1.04 and with the $1.00 off coupon from the 8/26 it costs .04! =)

Target has a ton of clearances on kids clothes. Got my 4 year old a ton of cute items for only 1.50 each.

Today, I bought two Puffs 4 packs, on clearance for $2.96,
used a $1.00/2 coupon I received from buying Puffs months ago. That brings the
    unit price to $.62/box.

I also applied the Krazy Coupon Lady deal for Dr. Scholl’s
For Her to Dr. Scholl’s Fast Flats. On clearance, for $4.98, so, of course, I
    got them FREE.

    I used a $2.00 Target coupon and $.75 SS 08-05 to get Almay i-color
for $.23. The regular price was $5.99, and it was on clearance for $2.98.

In my store, Off! and Cutter insect repellents are 50% off. I
hope many can find the same deals!

They have the Dr. Scholls fast flats in a size 5-6 on clearance at my walmart for only $2.50 a pair!!

There is a $1.00 off Target Q printable (possibly no longer available) that expires 9/8. Great to stack with the $1 MQ to make the item $1.48. GREAT PRICE! :)

  8. Dillon’s (Kroger) has ALL laundry detergent as part of their What a Deal sale this week…2.99 if you buy ten participating items. Use 1.00/1 q (mentioned above) and it makes it 1.99 for 28 load bottle. That’s only .07 cents a load! :D Just thought I’d mention it….-

  9. BBVBrandy says:

I couldn’t use the Planters coupon on the clearance bags…. they were considered “single serve”. Glad you could score some though!

    • Jennifer Abbott says:

I was prepared to fight if there was an issue with my Planters. I looked on the back of the bag and it said 3 servings per bag, I wouldn’t consider that “single serve” single means 1! ;)

    • Anonymous says:

Sorry it didn’t work for you! This has happened a few times to different people. That bag of Planters is not single-serve and therefore, is a valid item for that coupon.
