Who doesn’t love free toothpaste? I’ve donated lots of toothpaste over the years. It is a commonly free coupon product. Now’s my chance to score some more! This week’s Rite Aid ad contained an in-ad coupon (which mosts ads did include). Stack it with a manufacturer coupon for free toothpaste! Show me those pearly white smiles!

Colgate Total Advanced Toothpaste, 4 oz $0.99, sale price through 9/8
With In-Ad Coupon
Use $1.00/1 Colgate Toothpaste, 4 oz or larger, no more than 4 coupons for the same product in the same transaction from SS 8/26 (exp 9/15)
Final Price: Free

This is not free! The Rite Aid oupon is only for $1.00 off, making it $1.99. Can’t say I’ve ever seen a coupon for $1.99 off of toothpast.

In my Rite Aid ad, the coupon is for $2.00 off! I’m sorry. This must be a regional difference.

just an fyi from a dental professional….colgate total contains triclosan …it is great if you have gingivitis. however if you have sensitive teeth or gums stay away from the TOTAL form of colgate. Happy couponing :)

I wish my area got more than the .30 colgate coupons

I pointed this deal out days ago on the shop for free post :) Glad it finally got posted!

do you need a filler since the q from the paper is for 1.00 and total after in ad q is .99 ?

You shouldn’t. Rite Aid’s policy says they will reduce the value of the coupon to the selling price of the item.

The cashier I had was not aware of the policy and would not let me use my $1 coupon, even after I showed her the policy. :)

I’m sorry! I’d recommend trying a different store or calling corporate. Usually they can help iron out those issues. No cashier is perfect; they all make mistakes from time to time.

will wait for next week….CVS deal. Need to churn the CVS extra bux….Is this a good strategy? or should I just use it?

post says with in ad coupon

  8. Anna says:

I was wondering if I could do that…I saw that in the ad, but then noticed that it said “manufacturer coupon” up top…so I was worried they wouldn’t let me stack it with the MF coupon from the circulars. Did the stacking work for you?

Rite Aid coupons are deceptive little guys! They say “manufacturer coupon,” but they are actually Rite Aid coupons. Rite Aid coupons begin with “RC49,” while manufacturer coupons begin with a “5.” Rite Aid’s coupon policy allows you to stack these! Read all about this by clicking on the “101″ tab at the top of our Rite Aid page.

How many are you allowed to get at one time for that price?
If I use the one $2 in ad coupon and say 4 $1 MQ could I get 4 for free in one transaction? Thanks

    • Anonymous says:

The $2.00 in-ad coupon has a limit of one per customer. You CAN use up to four of the same manufacturer coupons in one transaction, but in this case, it doesn’t matter. You can only use one in-ad coupon. One free toothpaste is better than none, though!

I believe the Colgate toothpaste are $2.99 not $.99. Correct me if I am wrong.
