Rite Aid Extreme Couponing (Week of 9/9): $5.00 or Less

Rite Aid Extreme Couponing (Week of 9/9): $5.00 or LessWelcome to this post where we will lay out some extreme couponing deals that will cost you about $5.00 each week! First, here’s everything you need to know about shopping at Rite Aid:

Before shopping at RiteAid you should sign up for a Wellness card or get one in your store. The best deals at Rite Aid utilize the +Up Rewards and the Single Check Rebate (SCR) system. In addition to the +Up Rewards, which are coupons that print with your receipt (similar to CVS), Rite Aid sends you a monthly check for the total of all your rebates purchased during that month with the SCR program. You can cash the check as you would any other check.

Through the SCR program, you can watch videos on products and receive Video Value coupons. These coupons can be printed from your computer after you watch the corresponding videos. You can use each coupon once per Wellness card. Go here for Rite Aid’s updated coupon policy and here to watch the video on shopping at Rite Aid.

Has anyone purchased the no-nonsense socks?? and did you get 2 $5 up?? I purchased 2 pairs but only got 1 $5 up.

To everyone who is confused about using a BOGO with cents off coupon, please see this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AuQJtPAy7X4&feature=relmfu. Hopefully it will help. Although Rite Aid policy says they will accept both, we follow the most stringent policy and in that case it is the manufacturer’s policy which is that a BOGO attaches to both products. .

  3. Autumn Fiveash says:

Ughh, my rite aid did not have the power and free products. i love them so much. guess i will use my coupons at DG or Target.

  4. Alicia says:

just curious why would you have to come back the next day for transaction #2? You can’t do to two transactions in the same day?

    • Dee Thomas says:

if you did not opt-out, your up rewards will be loaded on your wellness card the next day @ 6am

    • Anonymous says:

You would not need to go back if you are doing what I am doing. I am using my UPs from the week before the next week. Otherwise your UPs are not valid for 24 hours after the transaction you earned them in.

  5. Anonymous says:

If you still have the Brach’s $1.50 off two coupon, you can make it a 50 cent MM.

    • sscake19 says:

The Brach’s onsale are holiday candy…. the coupon excludes holiday…

      • Anonymous says:

KCL had previously posted that these are considered seasonal, not holiday. I also haven’t had any issues using them.

  6. Mel says:

This is my plan and I’m hoping it works.

2 Gilette fusion proglide 9.99 each
    2 Mach3 FREE

2 bogo – buy 1 gilette get one Mach 3 free
Use (2) $5/1 fusion when you buy one gilette

    Pay $9.98 get back (2) +4ups
.50 cents for each is not a bad deal, may not be a mm but still cheap.

    • barb1222 says:

Unfortunately, you are not allowed to use a dollar off coupon with the BOGO coupon…check the fine print – it’s new on P&G coupons. So you can either use one BOGO & one $5 off, or 2 BOGOs, or 2 $5 off coupons if you wanted to buy all four products.

      • Mel says:

I noticed you keep telling everyone you can’t use money off a bogo when we can. Now everyone is confused!!

        • barb1222 says:

It’s only with the P&G coupons. We had this issue a while ago. KCL explained the wording – on the P&G coupons it says “LIMIT ONE COUPON PER PURCHASE of products and quantities stated,” which means that you can only use one coupon for the two products.

I asked KCL about it when P&G first put it on the coupons and that’s what she said, so I’m confused as to why she says we can use another coupon with a P&G BOGO coupon.

I’m not trying to confuse anyone, just trying to follow the rules. I’m confused now too.

            You
could use that Buy One Get One coupon, but you cannot use it WITH the
$4.00 coupon for the same two razors. If you wanted to use both coupons,
you would need to buy three razors. Either coupon makes for a great
            deal, though!

            You’re
right; Rite Aid’s coupon policy does allow you to combine a Buy One Get
One coupon with a dollar off or cents off coupon. However, these two
(and ALL) Procter & Gamble coupons themselves do NOT allow you to
combine coupons. They say, “Limit of ONE coupon per purchase of products
and QUANTITIES stated.” Sorry. It’s a good deal using only one coupon,
            though!

    • Anonymous says:

      Did this work for you?

  7. heather21 says:

A bit confused on the Lysol deal…with that disclaimer on the bottom, it also says cannot be combined with any other coupons. How are we allowed to use a MC $1/1 and Rite Aid $3/2, since the 3/2 coupon attaches to both items? And if it attaches to both but you can still use a 1/1, why can’t we use 2 1/1 MCs?

    • barb1222 says:

I think it’s a misprint because in order to pay only $.58 for both you would have to use 2 manufacturer coupons with the rite coupon.

  8. seikekinu says:

    First time ever couponing….failed…
At Rite Aid I got “Stayfree Maxi Pads, 14-24 ct Carefree Pantiliners, 36-60 ct or o.b Tampons, 18 ct
Buy One Get One Free” I had a save $1.00 on any stayfree product coupon printed from coupons.comit does read as manufacture’s coupon expires 10/8/12. At the check out, coupon did not gothrough scan and checker told me that “if it did not scan, and if it is a printed from online we do not accept it” I just want to know what happened or if she is wrong…
Can anyone suggest to me what might went wrong?

    • barb1222 says:

I don’t think that’s true. I have used internet coupons many times and sometimes they don’t scan. If they don’t scan, the cashier just manually enters the price. I actually had the same issue with a $.50 one carefree product internet coupon.

      • seikekinu says:

Barb, thank you for the reply. I was hoping she will try manually too…but as a first time coupon user, I was afraid to ask….. I’ll keep trying and learn more as I go. I just cut up my first coupons from last Sunday paper inserts, wow, it’s a lot work!

        • Anonymous says:

You’re welcome! Some cashiers don’t know their own coupon policies, which can be frustrating.

    • Anonymous says:

i used to have problems at Walmart, and the cashier manager pointed out they have different UPC scan codes on the printed coupons and they have to scan the correct one for it to go through.

    • Oregon_Girl says:

Actually I’ve had the same problem with some internet coupons not scanning and was told that it’s part of their new policy directed from the Corporate Office. If the coupon does not scan or does not go through by punching in the #’s they can no longer force them through because they are not getting reimbursed from the manufacturer.

  9. Tiya Tya says:

    Rite Aid deals: ( Question)
gillette fusion, proglide, mach3, or venus razor $9.99 get $4 +up limit 2

Do i stack this Ff: coupons to get this item Free?

    Buy 2 Disposable razor ( Gillette ) $ 7.49 ( regular price )
    Buy 2 Mach 3 $ 9.99 get $4 +up limit 2
    Use 1 $3/1 Gillette razor ( disposable )
    and Use 1 BOGO (disposable ) $ 7.49
    and use 2 BOGO ( Mach 3) 9.99 x 2 = 19.98 ( when you buy Gillette Razor System or Gillette Disposable )
    Pay. $4.49 get (2) $ 4 +ups

    Is this Allowed or not?

    Thanks!!!!

    • barb1222 says:

One thing I know is that you can’t use 3 BOGO coupons on 4 items. You’d have to buy 6 items to use 3 BOGO coupons. You can only use one coupon per item and you are not allowed to use coupons on free items, so since you would be using a BOGO coupon on the disposables and a $3 off coupon in conjunction with that BOGO that’s 2 coupons for the 2 packs of disposables.

Also, I would check the wording on the BOGO coupon because P&G BOGO coupons now state that you can’t any other manufacturer coupons with them.

    • Mel says:

      Tiya Yes it is!!

      Barb1222 is giving false info!

      • barb1222 says:

How is my info false? On the P&G coupon it says, “LIMIT ONE COUPON PER PURCHASE of products and quantities stated,” which
means that you can only use one coupon for the two products. Please read the fine print on the coupon.

        • Mel says:

I don’t know but when I used my $ off with my bogo it did not beep and I asked my rite aid manager and she said she never heard of not being able to use a $ off w a bogo coupon. Rite aid allows it, but they do not allow a bogo coupon on a sale of bog50% off.

          • Anonymous says:

Rite Aid does allow it, but the BOGO coupon itself does not… “LIMIT ONE COUPON PER PURCHASE of products and quantities stated,” which means that you can only use one coupon for the two products.

If you don’t believe me, read what KCL said in the Rite Aid 9/9 matchups (which is what I copy & pasted earlier.) and below.

You can make the razor deal a money maker. If you buy one of the Fusion Proglide Razors and a Mach 3 razor, you can use the $4/1 Fusion coupon and the B1 Fusion Razor and get a Mach3 Razor free coupon. You will pay $5.99 and get (2) $4 +Up rewards. A $2.01 MM!!

  11. meges01 says:

Did I miss something. Why would you have to go back the next day?

    • mykeyscouponmommy says:

With the +UP Rewards loaded to the card, you have to wait until after 6am the next day to use them.

  12. shey1025 says:

for the 2# transaction you will receive 5/ $1 +up reward right? 2/$1 for lysol,2/$1 for trident and 1/$1 for rusell stover right?… :)

  13. Autumn Fiveash says:

Isn’t the razor and cleaners at regular price? I think $2.79 is regular price for the cleaners

  14. barb1222 says:

There is also a $.25 off Trident video values coupon.
