Looking for more ways to save at the local grocery store? Get online and check out their website for exclusive deals, coupons, and features.
Look for a “Coupons” tab at your favorite store’s site to bring up a page similar to Coupons.com or Smartsource.com. This can be a good location to print off extra coupons. Many times the printable coupons will correspond with store sales and promotions.
Most store Web sites that have a weekly ad available online also have a shopping list feature. Print off the list to take to the store or access it later on a smartphone.
Doorbusters and Exclusive Sales
Stores run Early Bird and Doorbuster sales that often aren’t advertised in the Sunday paper. Check the home page for a heads up on exclusive deals and one-day coupons. Most store websites also offer signups for promotional emails.
Check out the store websites for a Deal of the Day (a higher value coupon only available for a day) or a free coupon, often in limited quantities. Do be aware that most stores will not allow stacking an eCoupon with a paper coupon, and eCoupons have a limit of one use per card.
Samples and Sweepstakes
Some stores even offer a section for free samples, sweepstakes and current promotions.
