I bought 8 of the deodorants expecting to get 1,000 points for each, and I got only 1,000 points total. Am I the only one who is having this problem?

    • Lisa Nicole says:

I had the same problem tonight. I came home and called the 800 number for the program. They looked up my account, pulled up the transaction, placed me on hold, and credited the points due to me on to my account.

      • Pam says:

I tried that. The rep told me I was entitled to 7000 points more and she would add them to my account. Then she said she would not be able to do it because it was more than she was allowed to do and I would have to speak to a supevisor. After a fairly lengthy wait, she got back on and said no supervisors were available because they were all busy so I should call back today (Saturday). I did that, and the rep who answered today said that they can only help people sign up right now and not deal with problems so I should call back Monday. So three calls to (hopefully) resolve the problem. This is by the way my second transaction with Balance Rewards and the first one didn’t work right either, necessitating a phone call which solved the problem. I think they did not do a good job of rolling out this program. I wonder if it will be worth the continuing frustration.

I went to Walgreen’s for this deal yesterday and the cashier had no idea about the Balance Rewards. That was actually my first trip there since it started, so I didn’t even remember until after I had finished my transactions. I haven’t received a card, if I am supposed to get one, but when I signed up online it said I could just give them my phone number. My receipt said I missed out on 3000 points! But with that, I am assuming each deodorant only would have given me 1000.

You don’t need to have a card; you simply enter your phone number attached to the Balance Rewards account when you check out!

The points would be great if u can use them, i tried and they said not until sept 30!

The 2,000 points was a mistake. Walgreens fixed it today and asked us to make new signs

  5. kelly says:

I have not been to wags in awhile I didnt know about these point or them getting rid of rr

  6. Kim says:

This points system at Wags is going to ruin them. If they stop the register rewards I won’t be going there anymore unless the item is practically free. I don’t know who’s idea this was in their marketing department but they should be fired and probably will be once their sales drop. They already lost tons of customers when they didn’t come to an agreement with express scripts. Now this. Oh well, I still have riteaid and CVS!!

I’m sure it was a good idea for certain customers. They probably weren’t thinking about the couponers when they decided to start this program. But we couponers always find ways to save, no matter the circumstances!

  7. guisi says:

Can I buy more than one on the same transaction and still get points for each one?

  8. Shanell says:

I went to walgreen and I only got 1000 points for my mitchums. :(

    • Anonymous says:

Hmmm, maybe the 2,000 Balance Rewards Points is regional!

    • liltopock says:

me too but it said on the shelf 2000 they told me there is nothing they could do about it I would have to call thier 1800 number

  9. guest says:

is there a way to find out how many times a deal with points can be done; then once I earn points do they all have to be used in 1 transaction

    • asw0627 says:

According to the terms and conditions they limit points based on reasonable household quanitities so I dont believe anyone really knows right now. I can tell you from experience I did a deal on Sunday 4 times and I got all my points. As far as your oher question I’m not sure.

    • Anonymous says:

Sometimes a limit is listed in the ad or on the product’s tag. Other than that, we don’t really know!

  10. Guest says:

in my newspaper I got $1.50 off of mitchum deoderant, making an even better deal. also how do you cash in on the points? do they print out on your receipt? thanks

This was my conversation with a wags live agent.
Customer: My cashier said register rewards were ending is that true?
Valerie S.: Register Rewards is an instore program, so the store can best advise. I believe it will be phased out overtime.
    Customer: thank you
    Valerie S.: My pleasure.

My cashier told me that RR were ending at the end of this month…

      • kde90 says:

bummer if they do…..i love the RR

        • asw0627 says:

So do I but sometimes having to find cheap filler items to use them defeats the whole purpose.

      • Anonymous says:

We’ll have to see how everything turns out! We always find a way to get great deals!

      • AlyFawkes416 says:

One of the associates at our Wags said that they were hoping that it would still be a thing that you could at least get the “free” item and maybe one or two other deals each week with RR and the others would be points, so for now I guess we can just shrug our shoulders and keep on clippin!
