I really think couponing has become better–much more variety on what we can stockpile now! What a krazy good deal on Pantene at Target–and it was the big bottles, too! And free gum and chocolate! Does life or couponing get any better than free chocolate?

Wish there was more food. But I love saving money on all this stuff too :)

So, I went to Walgreens to do some shopping and the cashiers didn’t know much about how all these rewards points work. My question still is….since I registered online where/how can I get a card to swipe after every transaction instead of putting in my number after each transaction. A card would be so much easier and faster.

    • Smiles says:

I signed up in the store as “card-less” thinking it would be easier not having to keep up with a card. But found it was annoying having to keep typing my number in after each transaction. I got to talking to one of my favorite Wags managers about it and he said well you can get a card. I said “WOW!” He did it right there at the register. It brought my account up using my phone number, scanned a card and that was it. Now I can use my card or my phone number. Hope this helps!

Silly Walgreen’s, “lets start advertising reward points, tell em how great they are. Then when they try to use them? …lets not start accepting them until 2 weeks later!

  4. Kerry says:

Bummer, we didn’t have the $5 off of 3 hair care products at Target in our RP here in Maryland. Must be regional…too bad, that’s a great deal!

  5. Linda says:

I got 1,000 for each Mitchum Antiperspirant/Deodorant. HOw come not 2,000 each?

  6. TubaManZ says:

I purchased 4 Stride gum at WAGs earlier this week and they scanned my BR card. Looking on the WAGs BR site my transaction is listed (incl. the gum) but no BR pts. There should be 2,000 pts as I understand it. Anyone else having this issue?

    • TubaManZ says:

I just tried to submit for my missing pts and got the msg “We’re sorry for the inconvenience, but this service is currently unavailable. Please try again later.” Maybe system overload due to too many people claiming missing pts.

      • TubaManZ says:

Pts are still missing after 3 days and the ability to request missing pts is still broken. I’ve contacted WAGs through their website. Will let you know when I hear back.

did you buy the stride iD gum? I believe they’re the only ones with the points attached to them.

Dear KCL, did walgreens changed their policy? I was told that you cannot get the RR if you bought from the same brand. I knew taht i cannot buy for example a 5$ razor that generate another 5RR and roll this again. I know that this will cancel my next RR. However i bought shaving cream and it printed me a 2$RR thanks from P&G and bought shampoo the next week and my RR did not print. I asked to talk to the manager which told me that if my RR is from a certain brand and i buy a different product with the same brand i will not receive my rr. I ve been couponning for about a year and i ve never ran into this problem before. Has this change? Almost everything i buy ends up being P&G….if they are starting this i might end up going to rite aid more often. Its frustrating to earn money i cant use! come on

    • Anonymous says:

I never use RR’s for the same brand just because of this problem. It will ocassionally roll but I don’t like to take the chance.

      • chinababy says:

according to walgreens, rr will not print anymore on the same item you purchased where you got the previous rr that u just have used as payment. hope this helps.

        • jaimelescoupons says:

it was a different item but also made by P&G..its silly that means now that i have to read each product to make sure…rite aid it is!

  8. cayacoup says:

You guys know they “fixed” the 2,000 points thing. I went yesterday, and I bought 4 (I wanted to get a nice collection started for a coworker and her kids) and received 8000. Today, I went to use the last $1.50/2 cpn I had and only received 1000 a piece. They even switched the signs to ones that said Rewards points but the value was left blank. But, whatever… we can’t be greedy. ;)

  9. Dan says:

How are you able to only pay $1.00 for 8 packs of gum at WAGs? If you buy 8 and use 4 BOGO coupons, wouldn’t you pay $4 OOP?

  10. sunflowery says:

I have a question on the 6 Pantene Shampoo or Conditioner? I went to target today and they told i was only able to use one $5 gift card for the 6 shampoo. Did anyone else have the same problem?

    • hanhpham8 says:

i didnt know u can use any gift card for the same transaction. we dont have that buy 3 get $5 special at my target. bummer!

      • Anonymous says:

it’s not a gift card deal, it’s a target insert coupon from the 9/16RP, which I’m guessing is regional, I didn’t get it in my inserts.

    • JustcallmeFrustrated says:

I tried this as well. I handed the cashier both $5 GC Qs. She rang me up for 2 GCs and handed them to me. My total was more than I expected to be but, because I had other items I didn’t catch the mistake (I was also trying to hurry as the lady behind me was making faces because I had coupons. I know I shouldn’t let that bother me, but it did.) After I got home, I realized that the register took off $5 once, not twice. Therefore, I paid for one GC. I’m not sure if it was because the cashier failed to scan both $5 GC Qs or not, but she didn’t tell me that it wouldn’t go through and she didn’t hand me my Q back. So, today I went back and explained what happened. The lady at customer service left to get a manager and after about 10 minutes of waiting at the counter she finally comes back with THREE other people. None of the other people, said a word to me, they all just looked. (intimidation?) I was told that there was no way to verify that I had given the cashier 2 Qs for the $5 GC; that the cashier should not have allowed me to use more than 1 Q; or rang up more than 1 GC and that I am only supposed to use 1 Target coupon per day, per person. The Q itself states, “limit 4 like coupons per household, per day”. I had an extra Q and showed it to her, but she told me to go online and look at their Q policy, which is temporarily unavailable. I read KCL’s Target Q policy and saw nothing that reflected what she told me. I called Target’s corporate number and they told me to go back to the store with a reference number and someone should do something. Huh???? I really do not want to go back. What a hassle!

  11. Megan says:

I went to target coupon site but the ID gum coupon is for the three packs.
Were you able to use the 3 pk coupon on a single gum?

  12. ana says:

I also have a question, on the gum you purchased at walgreens do you have to
due separate transactions like RR or your able to due them in one single transaction and earn the pts for all of them? Thanks

    • Megan says:

I went to Walgreens this morning and bought 8 of them all at the same time. It tracked for me.

  13. swatson says:

This coupon says only use at cvs can it be used at riteaid?
Bought 2 Hershey’s Simple Pleasures, 5.6 oz $3.00 each, when you buy 2
    Spend $6.00, Receive $2.00 +Up Reward, Limit 2
Used two $2.00/1 Hershey’s Simple Pleasures Chocolates, 5.6 oz from SS 9/16 (exp 10/31)
    Paid $2.00, Received $2.00 +Up Reward
    Final Cost: Nothing

When I realized it was from CVS, we switched to the coupon from 8/19 which was better. I just forgot to update from the original “plan”. Thanks for noticing!

  14. courtneymarieclare says:

I found some St. Ives on clearance at my Target. If I buy them will it still trigger the $5.00 gift card?

I think couponing has really gone down hill. When I first started about 2 years ago there were awesome deals everyday. I never paid for any toiletries. Now there are rarely any good deals. The stores have really tightened their policies and made it hard to really save money. It is really disheartening!! I still love your website and would like to thank you for all that you do!! You are awesome!! BTW, do you think there will be any toy deals starting soon with the holidays just around the corner?

    • kde90 says:

i totally agree ive started couponing when i was pregnant wit my first son 6 yrs ago…my mother in law introduced me to the fab world of cuponing and id go wit her to stores and get awesome deals…soon enough i was on my own cuponing and wit great deal my favorite store then was ralphs they would have some great deals from time to time n doubling coupons was no problems. and coupons didnt have a limit of using the same coupon in a single transaction as many do know. restrictions have absolutely changed since then. know i honestly stick to my local cvs, walgreens, and walmart n from time to time albertsons since its not that local their has to be a great deal for me to drive up there. i hope their policies dnt change….

I hear this complaint a lot but I still think it is great. In fact, I think it is better-more varied!

you have being in this longer to know more than me, but i think is awesome. I get all kinds of different products for nothing or close to nothing im having so much fun and saving tons of money
