    when does this deal end

    • Anonymous says:

This promotions last through 10/13. The promo signs state “no rainchecks” so better get them before they’re gone!

  2. Anonymous says:

These are both valid coupons for this transaction. These are not 8 ounce Aerosols. The coupon restriction you point out does not apply to store coupons. Target store coupons may be “stacked” with a MQ. That restriction is in place to forbid using more than 1 MQ per item.

  3. Anonymous says:

i printed $5 printable MQs a while back (exp 10/1) – glad i did/waited! i thought id never get this for free! $5 mQ + 1 TQ = free plus free refill

  4. Anonymous says:

I’m sorry that happened to you! That’s really frustrating. I wonder why they decided to do that. You obviously were adhering to policies, so it’s not an error on your part. You could call the corporate office and tell them what happened.

how many coupons can we use for one transcation

Have you checked out our Beginner’s section or our book “Pick Another Checkout Lane, Honey”? These are both great sources of information and will help you on your way to becoming a coupon expert!
Typically, you are allowed to redeem one coupon per item. But if you’re at a store that has store coupons, you can “stack” them.

PLEASE somebody help me, cause I am dying to know the answer and because
I am over the top being confused with it. I asked this same question
before when KCL first posted a Glade deal on Sept 16th ” buy Glade
candle and Oil start kit for only $0.99″, and I saw that there were two
other people who asked the same question, but nobody had replied to us( I
guess there were too many posts above ours, so…..). Anyway, this
Glade deal has been up again, so I am even more confused and in need of
the same answer for my question.
That day Sept 16th, I read a post as follow:
“My local free papers (Fontana, CA) had TARGET store coupons of “Buy One
Glade Jar Candle, 4 oz, Receive Free Glade Oil Diffuser Starter Kit, up
to $8.99″ which I combined with the printable $5 off Starter Kit and $2
off 2 candles. All for items free plus overage of $6.02″.
And I asked this question and so did two other people ” I was just wondering the same thing, especially KCL mentioned before
that Target didn’t accept a coupon on a free item and in this case the
Target coupon already made the starter kit free, so it is impossible to
use the $5 coupon on top of it.”

So now I am still stuck with the
same question. Was it right to do that? Was it right to use the $5
coupon for the Oil diffuser kit when the Target coupon already made it
free? or did it have anything to do with what coupon you hand over to
the cashier first thing? I also
thought that if the coupon, either it was a Target coupon or
Manufacturer which made a product free, then we could only use one more
either Target coupon or Manufacturer on the product which we actually
paid for to accompany with it, not on the product that the coupon
already made free??? Please let me know the right answer cause I am
dying to know and to do this
deal and I just want to do it the right way. I have a Target coupon for
buy a candle and get the Oil starter kit free, and I also have the $2/2
Glade products and I also have the $5 off Oil diffuser starter kit. I
also want to ask if anyone had their full amount $8.99 taken off for the
    Oil
diffuser when they use their Target coupon for buy candle and get Oil
starter kit free? because so far most people on this place just
mentioned that they used their Manufacturer coupon and it took off $8.99
and I don’t have this coupon. I just have the Target one, so I am
wondering if it may do the same thing or not?
    So
Sorry I am making this too long, but I have no choice and I have been
waiting for the right answer for more than a week already. Thank you for
    any help. I
appreciate it because I am super confused right now.

Hi Bao, if I understand correctly, you want to know about coupon policy. Have you familiarized yourself with Target’s coupon policy? It’s a good idea to print it out and have it with you when you shop. The more you know, the better. According to their policy, a coupon cannot be redeemed on a free item. If you want to do use the coupon “buy one glade candle, receive oil diffuser free”, then you can use 1 manufacturer coupon and 1 store coupon on the glade candle.

      • Alan Mom says:

I just came from target Per Manager they are not accepting a store coupon with the starter kits since it states not to be combined with any other coupons.

  8. wcwfox says:

I can not print out Target coupons. Why? I’m signed in at their site.

    • Anonymous says:

I’m not sure why that’s happening. Have you been able to print before? Check your print queue and see if the documents are being held up there. Or, see if there’s a missing plugin. I hope you can print them soon!

  9. ErinRose says:

Can I use the B1G1 Free manufacturers coupon..Buy one Glade Expressions Fragrance Mist starter kit and get one FREE? So I would get two Starter kits and 2 refills..would that work?

    • LavA88 says:

      Yes it should work!

    • Anonymous says:

No, that wouldn’t work. The promotion would cancel out the coupon. You can’t redeem a coupon on a free item, according to Target’s coupon policy.

      • ErinRose says:

The coupon was for a starter kit..get a free starter kit when you buy a starter kit.., not a refill so it ended up working..I got 2 free starter kits and 4 free refills! :)

  10. Lisa12 says:

The October 2012 issue of Family Fun had these and a bunch of other coupons in it. I signed up for a subscription when they were free and found some cleaning and household coupons in the center of it.

  11. michell says:

i went to my local Target and was told that i could not stack my coupons since it states on the coupon that it cannot be combined with any other coupon. so i was not able to get this item for free

  12. amy says:

    when does this promo end?:)

  13. Jamilette says:

I tried to do the same like Ty but the cashier in the front lanes of Target told I can only use 1 target coupon per guest what a bomber.

  14. Margarita Sandoval says:

hello, im new to this and i want to make sure im doing this right before going to the store. help please.

  15. swinkelman says:

how are you printing more than 2 of these coupons? I can only print 2. Are you using different computers?

    • Ty says:

Yes I have two computers which allows me to print off 2 sets of coupons per computer.

    • Anonymous says:

You are allowed two prints per computer. So if you have a separate work computer or another accessible laptop, you can print more!

  16. jessie0201 says:

Ok so I’m kinda new to this so if I don’t have the printable coupons mentioned above, will I be able to use a $1 off of a mist refill to lower my oop? Or will I not be able to because I get the refill free because of their promotion? Any help I could get with this I would greatly appreciate it thanks :)

    • Anonymous says:

Hi, the mist refill coupon can’t be used because it’s a free item. Do you have a coupon for the starter kit? That would lower the price! There have been quite a few Glade coupons in newspaper inserts.

  17. Talia says:

So I am trying to see how I can work this deal with the coupons I have. I have 1 BOGOF Glade Expression Oil Diffusser and 1 BOGOF Expressions Mist. I also have 2 Target coupon for buy Glade candle get Glade Diffuser free and 2 buy Glade plugins get Glade Mist free. I also have 2 Target get $1 on Glade product. How can I work these coupons?

    • Anonymous says:

Hi Talia, is your BOGO Expressions Mist for the refill or starter kit? The best way to figure out which coupons to use is to decide which products you want. There’s a Buy 1 Glade Oil Diffuser Get 1 Diffuser Refill Free promotion at Target. If you used your B1G1 coupon, then you could get 2 Diffusers and 2 Refills free!

  18. ale88gonzalez says:

Hi, I’m beginning to use cupons, but I still don’t get how to use them or to use 2 at the same time or with the same product I printed out the both coupons that are above I was reading the little words that they have and the $2 one says that it cannot be combined with any other coupon those that mean that I can’t use the other one or those it mean that I can’t use 2 of the same can somebody help please I will appreciated Thank You! :)

    • Anonymous says:

You cannot use 2 manufacturer coupons on 1 product, but the second coupon you will be using is a Target coupon. Target alloows you to use one of their store coupons with a man. coupon–this is called stacking.

    • Anonymous says:

Hi, for a beginner couponer like yourself, I strongly recommend picking up our book “Pick Another Checkout Lane, Honey”. It explains coupon types, restrictions, how to “stack”, and more! We wrote it for people like you. I’m glad you’re here with us! There’s a lot to learn but it’s worth the challenge. The $2 coupon can’t be combined with another manufacturer coupon. But since the other one is a store coupon, you can use both.

  19. Kari says:

Does walmart price match a sale like this?

    • Mons says:

I’m wondering about that too…tomorrow me and hubby are planning to go there so I am wondering if I can price match the starter mist 2.99 and get refill free…I could use the 2.00 on starter and use another 1.00 for the refill so it will still end up free..anybody knows? Do you have any suggestion KCL?

    • Anonymous says:

Walmart’s ad-match policy states that the price must be advertised in the competitor ad. They won’t simply match any price. Read about their policy here: http://corporate.walmart.com/ad-match-guarantee

  20. Mons says:

I did this deal just an hour ago, bought 1 candle 2.99, one oil defusser starter kit 5.99,oil defusser refill2.99, circo crib sheet for 9.00… Then used 1 glade buy candle get oil defusser starter kit coupon rang up 8.99, then used another 1.00 mq oil defusser coupon I found on my defusser kit 3 weeks ago, used 1.00 target q, and another circo 5.00 target q,…ended up paying only 1.71 for everything…she even let me use 2 target qs but it will exceed the amount before tax so she only rang up one…my husband was with me so I made him do the same deal as well…x 2 for everything and only paid 3.42 ….thanks so much KCL for posting this deal..we don’t normally go to target but were planning on our baby shower so we went there to scan some items that we like to get as a gift…

  21. fattyoscar says:

i have to say, target have been really strict on couponing. i went there today and they treated me like im a thief, they accused me of having FAKE coupons, the cashier and manager were snickering about me while i was standing there!!!.. wth? they try to take my coupons away from me, i had to demand for it back. i got my purchase, but i swear i had to pull teeth becuase target employees are not knowledgeable of their own store policy!! so, at the end of the transaction i told them i will come back with more coupons, so get ready!! lol. the more they piss me off the more coupons i will print out!!! i have collected over 30 glade items this week (all for free) and i dont plan to stop.

    • asw0627 says:

I feel your pain. One cashier at Target tried to accuse me of photocopying coupons because my printer was starting to run out of color ink. The coupon borders and barcode were clearly there just no picture printed. It wasn’t like I had 20 coupons. I had ONE! I felt so offended and now everytime a cashier has to call a manager over for something, no matter what store, I think they’re gonna accuse me again.

    • Anonymous says:

YES!!!! this is the way you show them. Not like the other lady that stopped couponing because people made her feel like that. NICE! I like NO I LOVE your style :)

      • fattyoscar says:

Thank you!! keep strong, and dont let them win!! if they didnt want us to use the coupons then they should never give us that option!!!

  22. Jenn says:

my sister made her purchase today, but since the shelfs are empty she aproach someone in customer service and ask what to do since there are not refills and they are part of the sale or promo. The manager said let me see your receipt and she said .. ” I’m not sure why you were allow to use a target coupon on your glades? that’s not allow and she called the cashier and told him that he was wrong, right in front of others” after a heated arguement she decided to walk away.. ;*(

    • Mom on a Budget says:

I also walked in to empty shelves and headed over to customer service to see if maybe I could purchase the starter kits, save my receipt and then come back for the refills later well the customer service associate said yes, but the manager said No because it states quantities limited, so I decided to wait and hopefully they will get some more. The sale I believe runs through 10/13.

  23. mari says:

cashier scanned my coupons and only $5.99 came off not $8.99 in fort collins, co

  24. Anonymous says:

I’m soooo glad that I saved all my $5 oil diffuser & $3 mist printables from a few weeks ago. :D

  25. nyda says:

Just realized it’s backwards, you get the refill free for buying the starter kit, but is it a a store promo?

  26. nyda says:

Joining the party late, BUT……. this is a target promo and you don’t need any coupons? I mean that the store is running the buy the starter kit at 2.99 and you get the refill free? I have lots of $2 coupons still and I have the $1 target coupon, so I’d love to do this deal.. Get all for free, just pay tax. Are the diffusers on the same promo, too? I did this deal at Kmart last week, with the $4 off the diffusers and ended up with $30 in catalinas.. Yay!

  27. nmelo3 says:

My cashier refused to scan my coupons.. I was not happy. She didnt even tried. She plugged in every one manually. Told me that the computer doesnt take off the price at all anymore.. She so lied.. i didnt get the deals that everyone else has been getting.

    • Anonymous says:

Oh no, that’s unfortunate! She was obviously confused or mislead. You can ask to speak to a Manager or go to Customer Service. I know how that feels and it’s upsetting!

      • jp says:

If it were only that easy! I have had so many issues with my Target and coupons. Even called corporate and got no help! It’s sad…they don’t seem to care! :-(

        • fattyoscar says:

I called corporate to file a claim, but i didnt know the cashier’s name, so i DROVE back to the store just to get his name so it can be documented, BUT, get this….. how come when i called coroprate back they told me there was NEVER a claim filed??? they didnt even save my complaint??? useless!!!

    • Anonymous says:

Half the cashiers at my local store type them in, half will just scan them. I never EXPECT to get the full “up to” value taken off, but if I find a cashier who just scans and doesn’t “correct” the price, I make a mental note for the next time. Technically they are supposed to adjust the price to the cost of the item, if they don’t I consider it a happy accident.

  28. Noreen says:

I only got the buy 1 glade candle and get glade expression oil diffuser free which is a target coupon in the newspaper. There’s also a manufacturers B1G1 coupon?

    • Anonymous says:

Hi Noreen, let me explain: the “Buy one Starter Kit, Get a Refill Free” is a promotion at Target. This means that no coupons are needed. At the register, the Refill rings up as free automatically when you buy a starter kit. To get both items for free, use the 2 coupons I listed above. There’s a $2 manufacturer coupon and a $1 store coupon.

  29. Mickeebabe says:

Is it better to hand the cashier your Target coupons first and then your
manufacturer coupons? Or the other way around? Or does it matter?
    Thanks.

    • Anonymous says:

Good question! I’m not sure which is better, it might depend on the Cashier. I usually hand over my coupons with the highest value first.

    • Anthony says:

Manufacturer and then target. the target coupons self-adjust for any overages.

  30. is says:

i only got the targe Q for buy candel get glade oil diffser for free and free fragance mist wyb 2ct plugins scented oil refill..where there others? or am i looking at mine wrong?

    • Ty says:

The first coupon you mentioned is the same one I used. It has a picture of a candle and a picture of the diffuser.

    • Anonymous says:

Both of the ones I listed are printable coupons so if you have a printer, you can get them!

  31. 3hopes3dreams says:

How did you get candles for free?

    • Mom on a Budget says:

I am assuming she paid for the candles from the overage Ty got from the free oil diffusers. Remember the diffusers are on sale for $5.99 but the coupon takes off the full $8.99. HTH.

  32. Cheryl says:

I have several $4 off Glad Expressions Oil Diffuser starter kits. Is it just the mist starter kits or are the oil starter kits on sale at $2.99 also? If they are and I take in a $4 coupon will they give me $1.01 back for each one I buy???

    • asw0627 says:

The oil diffuser starter kits are also on sale but not for $2.99 for $5.99 and get the refill free.

    • Anonymous says:

Hi Cheryl, the Oil Diffusers and Refills are included in this promo! You could use the $4 coupon with the $1 store coupon!

      • Linda says:

I tried to uses both, but the cashier said I can’t use the $1 target Q. She told me i can only use the one that show in the picture, I told her forget it..i just left….Should I call Manager next time?….I’m thinking about going to try it at diff. Target.

        • Anonymous says:

Sorry to hear that! She was misinformed. You could bring your receipt and coupon to customer service and see if they’ll honor it!

  33. Amanda says:

to get this deal do you use 2 of the 2$/1 for starter kit and then the 1/1 for the refill?

    • Ty says:

      Amanda,
You would use one manufacture coupon which is the $2 off and then you would use 1 Target coupon for $1 off. This would make your purchase free but you would just pay tax. Hope this helps.

      • lyndat says:

i have a question…if u are getting the mist starter kit free, how were u able to use the coupon for the $2 off mist starter kit? did the register beep? i wanted to know if anyone else tried this deal because it seems too good to be true because that would mean i am using the buy 1 glade candle and u get the starter mist kit free and the refill free due to promo? i don’t think my target would let me use the $2 coupon for the starter mist since i am already getting it free.

        • Anonymous says:

Hi, the promotion includes a free refill so you can use a $2 coupon on the Starter Kit.

          • lyndat says:

yes, I understand that deal about getting the refill free because of target’s promo. But the post from Ty states she used the Buy 1 candle and get the OIl diffuser starter kit free (so that would be one manufacturer coupon), Now Target is having a promo if u buy the oil diffuser starter kit you get the refill free, right? But technically we would not be buying the oil diffuser starter kit so do we still get the refill free? Plus if I am using the buy 1 candle get the diffuser kit free, how was she able to use another 2.00 off manufacturer coupon? I thought target doesn’t let you use another coupon on the free item?

            • Ty says:

              Ty = HE

I used 4 manufacture coupons that were Buy Glade Candle get Free Oil Diffuser Starter Kit that was in 9/16 SS. I was able to piggy back off the Target deal buy using this coupon. Anything that you have scanned is considered a purchase, so I did purchase the Oil Diffusers (which was free with the coupon) but I also was able to get the free refill (which was free with the Target promo). Like I stated above, I only used 4 manufacture coupon with a max value of $8.99 and 4 Target store coupons that were $1 off any Glade purchase…I didn’t use any coupons that were for $2 off. It’s just like the KMart deal last week when they were BOGO as well. Not all Targets are the same either. My Target allows you to use 4 manufacture coupons along with 4 Target store coupons. They also allow you to do more than one transaction and some Targets allow you to use a coupon on a free item as well.

            • lyndat says:

thank u so much!! i finally understand it now! :)

            • Ty says:

Great. It’s always harder to explain something just by typing it out. Glad you understand and hopefully you’ll have some success!! : )

        • Ty says:

Your not getting the starter kits for free, your just getting the refill for free. That is the Target promo. So if you have the $2 off Glade Starter kit, you would use that and then the Target coupon, which would make both items free. I didn’t do the sprays…I did the buy candle get oil diffuser free coupon. I just piggy backed off of Targets sale which is buy the diffuser get refill for free. So I paid for just the candle but because the manager didn’t adjust the coupon per policy, it took of the full value of the coupon which was $8.99. So the extra $3 went towards my purchase so I only paid $.15 for 4 candles, 4 diffusers and 4 refills.
          Hope this helps.

  34. Ty says:

Oh my gosh!! So I just returned home from Target and had a very successful trip. I checked out at customer service because Target was really busy. The manager was also the one checking me out and can sometimes be a pain, but I always kill her with kindness. She allowed me to do TWO separate transactions too. I used 8 coupons for Buy Glade Candle get Glade Expression Starter Kit FREE, 4 Target coupons for $1 off any Glade item and my own bag for an additional $.05 off. So I did TWO transactions and purchased the same items.

    4 – Glade Candles @ $2.99 each = $11.96
    4 – Glade Expression Starter Kits @ $5.99 each = $23.96 (free with coupon!!)
    4 – Glade Expression Refills @ $3.49 each = $13.96 (free with Target promo!!)
    Total = $11.96 (after coupons only $.15…yes $.15!!!!!)

Used 4 Buy Glade Candle get Expression Start Kit Free up to $8.99
2 Target coupons for $1.00 off any Glade Item

When the manager scanned the Glade coupons, it took off the FULL PRICE of the coupon which was $8.99, that’s a total of $35.96!! I even told her that the Expression were $5.99 so she wouldn’t have to look up the price. However she told me “todays your lucky day”. So after she scanned my 6 coupons my GRAND TOTAL WAS ONLY $.15!! As I said above, I did two of the same transactions so I paid a total out of pocket $.30 for 24 items or $.0125 each! Talk about an amazing deal!! These results are not typical…the coupon should have only taken off $5.99 so why it scanned for full price or why she didn’t adjust it down, I’ll never know.

    • chefgrant says:

Where did you get the buy a candle get the kit free coupons from?

    • Anonymous says:

were the oil diffusers part of the offer? or did you get a different coupon?

      • Ty says:

Yes the Glade Expressions (oil diffusers) were buy one get refill free too. I used the Glade coupon Buy Glade candle get Glade expressions free. It was in the 9/16 SS. Hope that helps.

        • Anonymous says:

SWEET! Imgonna grab some :) Also since it took off $8.99 you really didnt need the TQ’s right?

          • Ty says:

Well I used them but when the price got down to $1.15 I took the the other two out of my stack. Just remember that you may only get the $5.99 taken off, which is how it should be. Good luck.

            • asw0627 says:

I went and did the same deal but my cashier typed in $5.99 when it asked for the price of the free item and it STILL took off $8.99.

            • mommynewt says:

Same thing happened with me, but my cashier was a bit of a stickler, so she voided the coupon and entered it manually so only the $5.99 came off. Oh well, still an AWESOME deal!

    • verenice gonzalez says:

      what is the traget promo?

      • Ty says:

Lucky you!! How did you manage to pay $0? You did better than me. I love free things that I will actually use.

        • Anonymous says:

I did the same deal, but the candles were $3.09 at my store. Since I got $8.99 off on the Diffuser Starter Kit, the candles were only .09 ea. I didn’t even need to use my $1/1 Target coupon. I got two of ea item and only paid .18 for all 6 items so .03 ea! If the candles were priced $2.99 ea it actually would have been free.

    • Anonymous says:

Technically, they are supposed to write in the actual price, not the “up to” maximum value. But some cashiers don’t, or even when you tell them they should they don’t. It’s great when they don’t though! I love just paying tax especially since being in California we don’t have any doubling of coupons. Good job :)

    • Bao says:

PLEASE somebody help me, cause I am dying to know the answer and because I am over the top being confused with it. I asked this same question before when KCL first posted a Glade deal on Sept 16th ” buy Glade candle and Oil start kit for only $0.99″, and I saw that there were two
other people who asked the same question, but nobody had replied to us( I
guess there were too many posts above ours, so…..). Anyway, this
Glade deal has been up again, so I am even more confused and in need of
the same answer for my question.
That day Sept 16th, I read a post as follow:
“My local free papers (Fontana, CA) had TARGET store coupons of “Buy One Glade Jar Candle, 4 oz, Receive Free Glade Oil Diffuser Starter Kit, up
to $8.99″ which I combined with the printable $5 off Starter Kit and $2
off 2 candles.

So now I am still stuck with the same question. Was it right to do that? Was it right to use the $5 coupon for the Oil diffuser kit when the Target coupon already made it free? or did it have anything to do with what coupon you hand over to the cashier first thing? I also thought that if the coupon, either it was a Target coupon or Manufacturer which made a product free, then we could only use one more either Target coupon or Manufacturer on the product which we actually paid for to accompany with it, not on the product that the coupon already made free??? Please let me know the right answer cause I am dying to know and to do this deal and I just want to do it the right way. I have a Target coupon for buy a candle and get the Oil starter kit free, and I also have the $2/2 Glade products and I also have the $5 off Oil diffuser starter kit. I also want to ask if anyone had their full amount $8.99 taken off for the Oil diffuser when they use their Target coupon for buy candle and get Oil starter kit free? because so far most people on this place just mentioned that they used their Manufacturer coupon and it took off $8.99 and I don’t have this coupon. I just have the Target one, so I am
wondering if it may do the same thing or not? So Sorry I am making this too long, but I have no choice and I have been
waiting for the right answer for more than a week already. Thank you for
any help. I appreciate it because I am super confused right now.
