I’m a coupon virgin & I’m confused. My CVS has them for 2/$8. I have the $1/2coupon. If I buy 8 & use my coupon I quailify for the $10ExtraBucks. Coupon makes it 2/$7 ,so that’s like 8/$28 – $10ExtraBucks= 8/$18 so that’s $2.25each, RIGHT? So is that a good stock up price or no? IDK!

If you have the buy one shampoo or conditioner and get a styler free u will get a better deal.

If you don’t have the BOGO coupon, then you could use 4 of the $1/2 coupons. So at $4 each, yes, you would be at $28 out-of-pocket. It’s not the BEST deal, but if you really need shampoo, at least you’ll get some EBs out of it to roll onto the next deal :)

Our CVS had these on sale 2/8. The buy one get one coupon took of 6.99, my total after buying 8 was 6.32 and then I got 10 extra bucks back!

    • twinmommy says:

just so everyone knows, I told her it was over the sale price, she said there was nothing that could be done about that. she said her manager told her to keep it at the 6.99. I was not taking advantage of my cashier! :)

@TheKrazyCouponLady:disqus Is it possible to get this deal multiple times when you have a raincheck on this deal?

I forgot, does cvs allow a bogo and $off coupon for the same items?? I have a $2 off Pantene styler that I want to use with the bogo

at my cvs in cali, I used bogo razor with $5 off a razor, and they let me. It made my razors 10.99 razor 6.99 for 2 and I got $10 e bucks

CVS policy allows stacking a $-off coupon on the item you’re buying with a BOGO coupon. However, PG coupons restrict this stacking. So, in general, you can. Specifically regarding PG coupons (Pantene is PG), you may not. HTH!

I received a mfc from Walgreens for $4 off 2 Pantene products. It says redeemable at Walgreens but since its a mfc, can’t I use it at CVS with two BOGO coupons? Thanks!

  6. cayo says:

I tried to use the BOGO and the $1/2 but it beeped–looks like I can only use one or the other

    • Anonymous says:

The PG coupons do state a stipulation on stacking these, you’re right :) We do not suggest using both in this deal, only one or the other.

I’m a newbie at this..I don’t really get it. so if I used the 9/30 newspaper wouldn’t that just take off 4 dollars from the 8 shampoos since it’s 1 off 2 PANTENE?and since the shampoos at 4 each wouldn’t it be $32 minus the $4 making me pay $28 And the $10 eb. So basically I’m paying $18?

The BOGO coupon was from the 9/16 SS, the $1.00 off 2 is from today’s P&G. So to make the most of this deal, you need four of the BOGO (9/16 SS) and two of the $1.00 off 2 (9/30 P&G). You would buy 4 shampoos and 4 conditioners for 32.00, if the coupon is giving you the full 6.99, you will pay 2.04 for 8 bottles and get back $10.00 ECB. IF the coupon is adjusted to the 4.00 that you are actually paying per bottle, you will pay 14.00 and get $10.00 ECB. I hope this helps.

You will be only using the BOGO coupons OR the $1.00/2, in keeping with wording on the PG coupons restricting the use of both together. We list all available coupons so that readers have options, in case they don’t have the main coupon we’re suggesting. But THIS particular scenario is based on use of the BOGO coupons.

With 4 BOGO coupons, you will buy 8 and pay for only 4 of them. Hope that helps :)

  8. Plainkaren says:

you can do this same transactions 2x and get the $10 extrabucks both times accidently used the same card both times great deal

  9. Angela says:

Yup, the Pantene BOGO coupon is scanning in at $6.99 automatically at CVS, making for a better deal.

    • Anonymous says:

Per CVS policy, the BOGO coupon that is auto-deducting at a higher price than the item, is supposed to be adjusted down to the sales price by the cashier. We realize some cashiers may not know this, or are not doing so, but we can not suggest a deal here that encourages taking advantage of cashier error.

      • teresadawn2011 says:

        good for you!!

      • Gia says:

So even if the cashier don’t adjust it down, will they get in trouble for it?

        • Anonymous says:

In one form or another, all retailers have to demonstrate that they are redeeming coupons for the amount they are selling the items. Unfortunately, broadly-abused errors like this will eventually catch up to them, and result in more restrictions for us.
